Premier Sports were clear that they would only be providing streaming of the game and not produced by them on their channels. Obviously they are just using the home clubs stream that would be going out to supporters outside the uk

Yes That's a blast from the past I think it was when Hugh Sproat was injured, He was quite decent but was never seen again
-
I assume that is to be on the safe side
-
Difficult choice but went for Liam Gordon Ewan Wilson a close second

We have lost 28 goals and 17 assists with Bair & Spittal gone so not surprising were struggling for creativity. Attacking midfielders are the priority if we are going to play with just one striker

Have to say my first impression was Oh Dear ! But its growing on me and don't mind it now

Dutch trialist ?

The managers primary job is to keep Motherwell in the top division. The players he is resigning have done that so having them in the squad does make some sense. We are never going to sign 22 top quality players so have to cut our cloth to suit our means. Hopefully we can then add 3 or 4 better quality players, either as permanent signings or on loan.

Steady on ! Less miserable maybe

Marc McNulty ?

If O'Donnell isnnt good enough why hasn't he been moved on Hes a Scottish international with SPL experience surely he'd be sought after by at least St Mirren

Proved my point !

Nearly every post is about the fact we need to change team but very few say what team they would play they just wait to criticise anyone who does
-
Doesn't everyone ? Why not this team to start with ?
-
For what its worth I would go with Kelly O'Donnell Mugabi Lammie Carroll McGinn Spittal Slattery Goss Shields Efford

Van Veen was a waste of a shirt tonight, virtually playing with ten men with him on the pitch. Sligo looked sharper but also worryingly more skilled as well. We might turn it around in second leg but doesn't bode well for rest of season

Neil Berry was another

Unfortunately we are not in a position to be the first choice club for players coming up from England. We have to wait until nearer the end of transfer window to finalise any deals when they have assessed all their options. No coincidence both our signings are from Scotland
-
I'm prepared to hold off judgement on the players until they've had a full pre season and wait until at least 15mins in to the first game before writing them off

One of my favourite games was when we beat Rangers on the last day of the 1999-2000 season Great atmosphere as we were in with a shout of Europe if we beat them and Hearts lost. Sadly wasn't to be as Hibs let us down https://www.motherwellnet.com/database/season-archive/1990s/1999-00-fixtures/21st-may-2000/

Wouldn't it be great to go back to the good old days when we signed a raft of quality players in the Summer and were looking forward to a successful season

Is that not "Boss Cat" ?

How long do you think any manager at Motherwell would last if we were flirting with relegation but getting beat 5-4 every week playing attacking football ?. Like everything in life there is a happy medium. Alexander has probably surpassed the targets set by the board for the season so deserves another go. Even though at times the football on offer was rotten all we were crying out for was a couple of players in attacking positions with a little more quality. Tony Watt was sorely missed for that little bit of magic we needed We desperately need to bring in quality rather than quantity in summer To be fair ast year was exceptional due to covid meaning a bigger squad than usual.
