  1. Watching Motherwell is becoming like watching Scotland its not that they are bad its that they are just not good enough !
  2. It does seem a bit unfair to members who do not live in Motherwell area, something that may need to be looked at ?
  3. No, but Motherwell are actively running campaigns and asking fans to get behind the club and even own part of the club so its not asking to much for some kind of response from the club as its obvious the fans were not happy. I know its very rare when Motherwell fans are happy, but this was not just another game.
  4. Quite agree imagine if Lasley had elbowed one of Rangers young players in the face do you think McCulloch would have had a laugh about it or any of the Rangers players no they would have surrounded the ref and had him sent off. Motherwells attitude was pathetic from the start, like it or not we were representing the SPL last night, and made a laughing stock of the league and of the club. The majority of posters on here like myself have supported the club all their life and like me will continue to do so but by god performances like last night make it a pain rather than a pleasure. The club asked the fans to get behind the club via the well lottery, Well Society and other ventures it would have been nice if McCall and the players had shown some fight for the club last night just to give a little back. Defeats we can take(just) but surrender like that really hurts and the sad thing is if we do manage a result on Saturday it will just confirm the views of many people that McCall just doesn't want to beat Rangers. Rant over
  5. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/green-know-friends-143107804.html Rangers chief executive Charles Green says he will warmly welcome Motherwell to Ibrox next week - but insists other top-flight clubs would not be given the same treatment.
  6. I think we should keep hold of all the players and if they don't want to extend their contracts let their contracts run down. If we can manage to finish second (because we all now know who is going to win the league !) we can attract a better standard of replacement than if we sell in January and slip down the table.
  7. Why not really annoy them with " We're only here for your money"
  8. Any more updates on whats happening. Are any members out there receiving communications from the club about the society
  9. Any more updates on whats happening, thought there might have been a club statement by now
  10. John Boyle 1st time around brought "big" name players to the club and reduced ticket prices but attendences didn.t go up enough if at all to cover the wages, so we know thats not the answer. The future for Motherwell, as someone posted above, has to be with the kids. We need a way of getting kids in and trying to keep them when they become adults maybe we could offer free seson tickets for under 18s and when they become 18 move on to a reduced season ticket price betwwen 18and 21. I agree with the letting kids in free perhaps the Junior Steel club could be given a section of the ground where kids could be supervised.

    M.f.c. Vespa!

Brilliant, I reckon you should get a free badge for that !
  12. I paid by debit card and got my receipt about a week later
  13. Got Steel membership last week just waiting on membership card and details to arrive now. Also joined Well Lotto and everybody in my family is getting Motherwell FC presents for Birthdays and Christmas( whether they like it or not!)
  14. On SKY sport news on Friday they were going round some of the grounds that "The Rangers" were going to be playing at in Div3 and it seemed to me that they were actually showing more interest in scottish football not less. If you think about it if they showed the" The Rangers" away games on a Sunday lunchtime there would be an audience of thousands of the "The Rangers" fans who could not squeeze into the small grounds plus plenty of other viewers watching hoping to see them get beat ! I think the "The Rangers" in Div3 is creating a lot of interest down south and SKY will still be covering Scottish football next season and it is up to the SFA and SPL to do something right for a change and get a decent deal this time.
  15. Why don't the non old firm clubs get together and use joint bargaining power to reduce costs. Electricity, phone fuel etc could be purchased cheaper if a group deal was done with suppliers also they could look into joint sponshorship deals covering all the clubs . Maybe they could get the free Audi cars Rangers had to give back ! On a personal note now we have voted no my Well Society membership form is goin in the post tomorrow
  16. was going to join well trust but not if this plan goes ahead. Imagine what the old firm fans will be like now that they know they are protected, back will come the sectarian singing and if anyone objects the answer will be "what you gonna dae aboot it you need us to survive" and they will be right. Scottish football sent back to the dark ages by the SPL/SFA (guardians of our game)
  17. It really is a no win situation keep Rangers in and the odds are we will face year after year of slow decline, fans drifting away from the game, best players being sold and gradual decline in the stadium etc. Kick Rangers out and we loose their money etc . Not an easy choice but there comes a time when you have to stand up to bullies and face the consequences. I personally would rather see Motherwell play in the third division than continue to rely on the scraps from the old firm table. Be brave and say NO!
  18. If the club vote yes to the newco without changing the prize money split, voting rules and tv revenue then they will not be operating in the best interests of the club. We are not exactly thriving financialy with the current setup so there is no way we should let them off scot free. I would prefer to see Rangers relagated to the 3rd division as Im sure most here would and then live with the consequences.
  19. Anybody know whats happening with Paul Quinn belive he has left Cardiff on a free
