  1. He signed a one-year deal when joining in the summer. Not heard anything about an extension. I like the fact he was born in Monte Carlo.
  2. Robson is a real thug. He's really delevoped a Billy Big Baws attitude since joining the 'tic. From what I saw on a pishy stream Coke looked very composed today and rarely wasted a ball.
  3. Yeah,Kolkka was in that team. He had a meandering career, played for a host of teams.
  4. Any idea of the line-up? Laurie Cunningham and Cyrile Regis looked special from what I've seen. Played against us in Joe Wark's testemonial in 1978-ish. Christian Vieri played at Fir Park in Scotland U-21 match. I remember a Scotland "B" international against Yugolslavia in the late 80's/eraly 90's. I'll need to dig out the programme but I think Vladimir Jugovic and Dejan Saviecivic were playing. Sami Hyppia for Mypa-47 Maybe not legends but all very, very good players.
  5. He's been excellent. Just voted MotM by Murder Mcleod on Radio scotland as well.
  6. Fantastic point, great effort today from everyone in Claret and Amber.
  7. It's got 0-0 written all over it.
  8. Jock Brown! "A goal of supreme quality"
  9. Craigan dropped again. 4-2-3-1 looks the most likely with Murphy on the left hand side. Who is Halsman?
  10. Aye. Imagine being working-class. In this day an age as well.
  11. BBC are reporting that Hammell may be a doubt while they reckon O'Brien has recovered from his knock against Celtic.
  12. Ruddy Yassin Hammell Craigan-might be his type of game. Could be rested again after his exertions this evening Reynolds- always seems to fare poorly against McDonald. Saunders might be worth a look Coke Hateley Humphrey-worth a gamble Forbes-maybe due a rest but worth having for set pieces and shooting alone O'Brien Jutkiewicz-just about shown enough Can't see us taking anything from this one ,2-0 to the baddies.
  13. 1905?! Christ, you're a hard man to please. When was our first season in the top flight? 1902 or thereabouts
  14. I don't think Aberdeen have been relegated, waht is not league reconstruction that saved them? The season the SPL went from 10 to 12 sides.
  15. Everton were relegated in the early 1930's but bounced straight back. Arsenal finished bottom in 1913 but were "elected" back to the top flight at the expense of Tottenham. This was under the time the unners moved to North London so it really got the rivalry going. I think every team in England has been relegated at some stage, from some division or other. Matbe one of the teams from non-league iis an exception(AFC Wimbledon)
  16. I had the misfortune to work on PR for a year,a lot of fibs went on. Those brochures that get produced for various companies/quangos,all made over lunch. Cracking birds mind. Not seen the film, any good?
  17. You'd be surprised what goes on. Altough it's probably not a big enough story for them to do that. They've more likely just took what they want from a few utterances and done a cut and paste job; "your'e just like a journalist" as someone sang.
  18. That's what has happened here. If indeed they didn't just make the whole thing up.
  19. I agree, best of the rest outwith the city clubs. Aberdeen were handy pre-Fergie. they'd won the league in the 50's and had a lot of cup success. The also had a fine team in the early 70's but were overshadowed by an exciting Hibs team and late period Stein Celtic. But yeah, the Fergie era is no doubt worth a lot of their points in that table.
  20. No he isn't. Somebody at the Daily Record is making up quotes to give the story an OF angle or even any angle in a slow newsweek.
  21. Kiss the badge. Or be a guid waver.

    Betty Pryde

    Very sad news. RIP.
  23. Ruddy has been, for the most part, excellent. Looks a proper 'keeper. I'd be delighted if we can keep him, even if it's just for the duration of this season. Jutkiewicz has been poor. Slow and cumbersome on the ball. The only positives are that he keeps showing for the ball and has a reasonable presence. His hold up play has been OK at times and well,he scored the winner yesterday so should get a bit a slack for the next couple of games.

    Falkirk

I enjoyed Chris Humprey's display. Still very raw but showed some potential. Not much else to choose from.
