  1. Just seen the highlights there. The third part of Ruddy's triple save was first class. Doesn't look like he had much else to do.
  2. I've always disliked Handel.
  3. Fantastic away win. Another clean sheet to boot. Happy days.
  4. The Dixon injury took at least 2 minutes. How many corners have Utd had?
  5. Ruddy hell. Fuckin' great stuff by the sounds of it. Sign him up.
  6. Penalty! O'Brien fouled in the box.
  7. To be fair it also sounds as if the players are rubbish too. Stevie Cowan slating the standard of play on show.
  8. Aye same here. I couldn't get the commentary on the 'Well game to work either. Restarted the computer, works now.
  9. To get the BBC Scotland links you now have to through the BBC Sport Scotland site.
  10. Doubt it very much. Although I've found one for Hibs vs St.Johnstone.
  11. I too thought Hammell did well. As steelboy says Davis was kept pretty quiet. Selecting one incident in a ninety minute smacks of nit-picking to me.
  12. Throw-ins are usually awarded by assistant refs. I'm not sure what incidents you're refering to as regards corners.Thinking back,he should have booked Papac(?) for deliberate handball in the first half. Of course Gannon was annoyed at him. Most folk with an emotional attachment to the outcome usually are. I booed McDonald at half-time,it's more a habit than anything else. Competent displays by refs against the OF will do me every time.
  13. Yes,I found myself thinking something similar after Saturday. He must be nearing the end of his refereeing career and as such, maybe he's not too bothered about upsetting the OF or impressing the bosses to get some juicy European matches. Sending off McGeady and Bougherra, late penalities and the like. He'll need to watch his windows mind.
  14. Hahahaha. Thanks -I thought you'd made that up,it's a belter. Against my better judgement I clicked on their website and it's there in black and white. The old guy that sits in front of me in the Main predicted he'd get a nine so he was only slightly out, still he got MoTM. 5 out of 10 for McDonald? He had a fine game I thought. Only shocker that I can recall was free-kick against Coke in the 1st half. He was occasionly let down by his linesmen.
  15. Daryl Broadfoot in the Herald was scathing of Rangers' performance. Gave us a fair bit of praise too. Out of interest, does anybody know what mark teh Rancid gave Weir for his display on Saturday?
  16. Defense!? But yes,it's pleasing to have some options at the back rather than just the usual Craigan/Reynolds axis of the last two seasons. Just need to fix the offence next and we'll surely make the play-offs....
  17. My thoughts exactly. Fantastic to see us keeping the ball in tight spots and passing Rangers off the park. The return of Slane should add some pace and trickery to the frontline. For all their faults rangers are still probably the best defensive unit in the SPL and we create 2 excellent chances(the ball hitting off Sutton and Coke's header) after fine possesion football. The back four restricted Rangers to half chances and speculative balls into the box. Meat and drink to Ruddy on yesterday's form. Always painful to pass up the chance of 3 points against that shower but more convinced than ever about the direction we're headed in.

    Rangers

Yes, a very tough choice after the display all the boys put in yesterday. Such a mature performance from the side,at times we simply passed Rangers off the park, albeit the end product was somewhat lacking. Plumped for Giles Coke in the end. Always keen to show for the ball and terrific energy in the middle of the park, totally overshadowed Mendes and McCulloch in the first half and still looked dangerous when moved out wide in the second half. Mentions for Stevie Hammell who I thought had a fine game. Their right hand side is probably their most dangerous attacking threat but Hammell helped to nullify Davis and Whittaker and found time to get forward. Yassin at right back looked excellent although he understandably tired. He looks a fine addition though. Ruddy was commanding, only mistake was a rather kamikaze rush out of the box to meet the onrushing Novo. Otherwise he dealt well with anything the opposition could muster. Others who I could easily have picked for MoTM include Saunders who was dominant both in the air and on the ground and Jennings, who rather counter-intuitively looks a great player for the counter attack. Despite his lack of speed he at times engineered some fine breaks with clever passes into space. He's looked more impresive every time I see him.
  19. No bother airfinz,I think I read your post the wrong way.
  20. We're due against this mob. But I'd still take a draw. EDIT: Have I missed something? Why the hostility to traffic?
  21. I've no idea what the team will be so won't bother with a line-up. We're more than due a win against this lot though. Lookijng forward to this one.
  22. The match report on the official site suggests we created a lot of chances. Coke's goal sounds like it would be worth seeing.
  23. Good boost for the old confidence ahead of the Buns game. Any injuries to report?
