  1. Coke's an OK player. I don't know where all this "disinterested" bollocks come from-I've seen him launch into tackles and chase and harry. Not great but worth another year at least.
  2. Decent summary. Season could peter out in disappointing fashion with recriminations or we could still get in to Europe. All to play for. Get along to the game on SUnday if you can and support the team.
  3. The Portuguese play only 30 games. Scottish football has never adequately solved the problem of having 2 clubs who are massively bigger than the rest.
  4. I worry that soem folk might get pissed off and not renew season-tickets. You're getting "done" out of one game and the post-split scheduling is a load of jobbies.
  5. It's not a proper league. More games away than at home, and against different teams. I know a few folk support it, anybody on here willing to mount a defence of this farce?
  6. Here's the complete set of post-split fixtures. Words fail me.
  7. 16.15 pm on a Sunday. What a complete joke.
  8. Fuckity fuck fuck fuck. Fuckin' Thursday night game as well. I see the Utd. game as on ESPN too, no doubt on a Sunday with a 11.45 am start or some such bollocks. So no Saturday home games left. The SPL can fuck right off, bunch of fuckin' c***s. Have they ever done anything positive? I mean, they come across as a completely dysfunctional and inept organisation. Anybody have an e-mail or small address for these bat-shit crazy fuck-tards.
  9. I think a lot of fans actually place a lotmore pressure/have higher expectations on boys from the youth system than they do signings from outwith the club. It's a strange situation as you think it would be the other way round.

    Falkirk

Fraser did well and won my vote but when your sub goalie (who appeared at half-time when 1-0 down) is the most impressive performer, well, you know it was a shit display.
  11. The ball-boys were shite again today. (Still the best moan I've heard)
  12. Thought today the problem was the service rather than the 2 front players. 4-4-2 doesn't really suit a midfield comprising both Jennings and Lasley, especially when the two wide players are as poor as Forbes and O'Brien were today. We played far too much of the gam in straight lines, resulting in balls up to/over the top for Murphy and Sutoon to chase or wrestle with the visitors back four. Even when teh front two did win the ball or lay it off support from midfield was non-existent. It was noticeable how often Falkirk won the loose ball in midfield. When both your full-backs have bad games too, well you're going to have problems creating chances.
  13. Bottom of the league? Not won in a few months? New manager alreadry under pressure? Can't keep clean sheets? Strikers misfiring? Then why not call Motherwell FC on 0800 10 10 10? Three points guaranteed.
  14. Is this the first time we've been behind in a league game under Brown/Knox?
  15. Excellent draw for us, one that just about confirms Europe for another season.
  16. When is the Cup draw? Hopefully the old heated balls will be in use. Reasonably confident we can finsih 4th or above but it'd be nice if Rangers/Dundee Utd and Celtic avoided each other. We missed out in 1999/2000 when finishing fourth. The place went to Cup runners-up Aberdeen who lost on away goals to Bohemians.
  17. Unbeaten runs of 19 and 14. We lsot twice;1-0 at Rugby Park in August and 1-0 at Ibrox on Boxing Day. We managed a 22 match unbeaten in 1933-34 from the start of the season until mid-December.
  18. We went 15 games unbeaten in 1994-95. Lost to Rangers at Ibrox on the openingday and didn't lost a league game until December 10, when a struggling Aberdeen won at Fir Park. My old man already disliked McLeish, despite the great start and insisted he'd played for a draw to assist his old team.
  19. If you let folk in for nothing they'll flock along but I doubt they'd be back when prices returned to full whack. Attendences are still remarkably high in Scotland, all things considered.

    Hearts

Jim O'Brein for me. Quick thinking for the first goal and a fine strike for the third goal. A real team performance yesterday, as reflected in the voting.
  21. Great performance yesterday. The first 25 minutes were reminscent of the early days of the McGhee era-relentless atacking play with plenty of movemnt and pace effectively killing the game off early. For me, most impreesive were Murphy,O'Brien and Jennings. Hard to judge the defenders such was the lack of threat from Hearts. But aye, great stuff - well done to the palyers, fully desreved a standing ovation at full time, shame so many left early.
  22. No bother. They're like Barca in the respect that they are nominally owned and run by their members, who vote to elect a president so they're not a company in the sense they'r enot incorporated.
  23. Oh I see. It was just you quoted my post above.
