  1. Can't imagine Brown will make many changes for this one. Harsh on Murphy but I'd stick Jutkiewicz back on with Sutton, who's been superb in recent weeks. Maybe an idea to keep Humphrey as an impact sub for this one but no qulams if he starts with Coke the most likely to drop out. Another 1-0 I reckon, Sutton with the winner.
  2. +1 The club have shown that they can't fix it,for whatever reason.

Seems to score a few against the bottom six teams. Not really bothered either way to be honest.
  4. I used to be able to remember great details about games but now...dearie me. Just looked up the match report on FPC and it appears Craigan scored twice from Brian Kerr set-pieces before Hibs missed a penalty but still found time to score 2 in the last ten minutes. I no reason to believe I wasn't at this game but can't recall a single detail.
  5. Difficult one to call this. While we've been on an excellent run recently, especially defensively, I just get the feeling that a few mistakes are starting to creep in at the back. I stick with Lasley and Jennings in the middle and maybe try Coke out wide on the right with O'Brien on the left wing. The rest of the side is picking itself at the moment; Brown's always been a fairly conservative manager and is unlikely to go for drastic changes despite a relatively poor showing against the Accies. I can't see us picking up anything here, 0-2 Hibs.
  6. Tuffey is excellent, seen him a couple of times. Very surprised he's still at Thistle to be honest.
  7. That raised a chuckle. .
  8. Motherwell every time. Less and less bothered about Scotland as time passes.
  9. Keeps the unbeaten league run going I suppose.
  10. What were Accies saying about playing football on their green grass? Sounds as if this was an awful match.

Judging by the folks around me I thought Forbes had taken on the mantle of scapegoat then you see threads like this, which in fairness I haven't bothered to read.
  12. Yes, Coke is suspended and with Fitzpatrick injured I reckon Forbes will get the nod. Maybe a wee stint on the sidelines will have him refreshed. Wouldn't be surprised by 0-0 tonight. Looking forward to it though.
  13. It really couldn't get any duller, could it? Everyone's been to Killie and Falkirk loads of times. I was hoping(as always) for something new and off the beaten track. Ach well,if we get past Caley and then beat Killie/Falkirk I don't suppose I'll be complaining.
  14. He's got a good record,doubt he'll be popular though.
  15. Probably the end for Yass and Jutkiewicz as well. Doubtful that the whole host of players on 1 year contracts will stay either. Suppose it depends on who takes over.
  16. Yeah, that's what the statement on the 'fishal says:not down to results but that Gannon wasn't fully committed to the club. His refusal to sign a contract looks to have cost him. Does this mean we don't have to pay him any comp?
  17. It's on the Official site now. Here Didn't know JB had it in him.
  18. Och well, away to get pished. Glad I missed that.
  19. At least we've not picked up any bookings.
  20. Dearie me. A hat-trick from Peter Peasy McDonald. That's a beamer.
  21. Thankfully there are several other poor sides in this league. Bit of a worry if we lose today against a side expected to struggle who're missing 5 or 6 players. Slane coming on by the sounds of it. Let's hope he's fully fit.
  22. Couldn't make it today, didn't fancy the drive back home. 1-2 down now. We're in a bit of bother now.
  23. Not really. That's just a glib assertion you've heard and are happy to trot out. Football clubs are beloved community institutions, nothing like a business at all in my view. If we serve up a shite display you don't just bugger off and watch a side that's winning. I'm with you on the ticket office shutting ealy/without notice though, not the best.
  24. Wigan for McCarthy. I'd just about forgot about him. Has he played in the Premiership yet? I recall him being subbed off in the League Cup after Blackpool had ran riot. Here I was thinking he'd be starring for Barcelona,Inter or Liverpool by now. That's what the press up here said.
  25. But,but he set up the only goal in that game don't you know! It's fast assuming mythical proportions, his successful cross against the Jambos. Much like O'Brien's assist from early autumn.
