    Phil's Legacy

The lassie next to the pregnant one looks raging that she's been landed with a Zoom top. Quite right too. Still, it's nice to see these pics. A job well done by everyone involved. And best wishes to all the Librarians.
  3. Probably. I was more concerned that someone might read the changed kick-off time for a game in December that was posted and think that it was for this weeks game.
  4. It's the home game in December that's being shown on Sky, not this Saturday's game.
  5. That's a pet hate of mine, remembering strips by their sponsors logo.
  6. The Zoom kit is by far the worst 'Well home strip we've had the misfortune to set eyes upon. As for aways, I've never liked any black 'Well kit nor the Eliphas Shivute day-glo number. Can't think of another home top I didn't like. The Jester was a bit of a surprise but not too bad and the '92-'93 home top was a lot closer to orange than I'd like. Still bought both of them though. Best away strips: '90-'91 white Ian Skelly and '07-'08 white Anglian.

    Slane & O'brien

Aye but Ross Jack was a prick anyway. EDIT: It could have been the I'm-alright-Jack rule.

I'm just glad it was Jean-Marc Bosman and not Marcio Markiowsczkynovicov.
  9. Since I'm here, 'Well v Accies is a derby (and I love it when we beat the fuckers) but 'Well v Airdrie is the derby in my eyes. 'Well v Accies seems to be a big deal to Accies but I've a bigger grudge against the other lot. The team aren't Airdrieonians but it's the same fans. That said, when the talk of least favourite team crops up then it's a no-brainer. Forget the Lanarkshire also-rans, the big days on my footballing calendar are the Jambo games. I cannae stick they c***s.
  10. Yir no helpin'. I feel auld. Need mair drink.
  11. You make it sound like it was centuries ago - it feels like a fortnight ago.

    Pod Stand

Double standards would require the Scottish media to have standards in the first instance. Scummy wanks.

  14. Eddiemunster suggested that after the Steaua first leg. I reckon it was a cracking shout.
  15. St Johnstone's 5230 includes a (reported) 2000 'Well fans and a home support boosted by the novelty of the first game of the season/in the top league and a flag-raising party.
  16. In a crowd of 5000, there's no way everyone will like the song being played and it's as simple as that. You like it, I don't. I have plenty of suggestions of songs that would be preferable (to me) but the same rule applies to those as well.
  17. I think he was exaggerating for effect. We have a habit of trying to walk the ball into the net.

    Canterbury

Another £45 saved. Not a nag, problem, moan or complaint - I just don't like it.
  19. I vote Jim Gannon. He desperately wanted to rattle the ref's chops. I wish he had.
