Pie taught Buzz how to deal wi' crosses. Sorry Pie but it still makes me laugh.
  2. Pidgeley was here last summer. Fairly certain we couldn't agree terms/ he thinks he's too good for the likes of us.
  3. I'd be happy with David O'Leary as Celtic manager if we could somehow get Peter Ridsdale in to replace Peter Lawwell.
  4. I'll wait and see if McGhee leaves. Has he not developed a nasty habit of punching the young laddies when results don't go his way? I wouldn't be remotely interested in having Adams back at Fir Park.
  5. The headline says "Hands off" but the article itself only says that "the club will do everything it can to keep hold of boss Mark McGhee". I'd imagine we'll be very limited in how much we can actually do to keep him. Also, according to Real Radio at lunch-time, McGhee has a clause in his contract which would allow a move to Celtic in return for £200,000 compensation. If this is true, there may be nothing the club can do.
  6. Aye but it was Captain Sensible that posted it.
  7. It would depend on whether you mean the most controversial decision or the worst decision (I get the feeling you mean the worst decision). As far as controversy goes, I'd say it has to be Boyd's non-goal against us in the 0-0 draw. No other decision created the hoo-ha that this one did. Walter Smith and the Weegie Meedja dragged it out to the point where it was still an issue when it was announced that the same linesman would be on duty at the OF game a couple of weeks ago. In reality, it was a non-issue - the whistle had gone for offside, our defence and our 'keeper had stopped accordingly but Boyd stuck the toe in the ball and it happened to go in, a chance shot when the pressure was off - he hadn't tried to score from that distance all night, if play was continuing he'd had closed in before he tried anything (again, as he had done all night). Everyone in the ground knew this but Smith and the meedja blew it out of all proportion with little regard for the facts. This decision caused the most controversy but was not the worst decision in a Motherwell game this season.

It's quite clearly a homage to the Credit Crunch Coupon in the Gamblers Admitted sub-forum. Thanks Canterbury.
  9. Nope. I couldn't give a monkey's about it and I find all the card counting tedious. Not a criticism, it's understandable that folk are excited about a wee jolly.
  10. Falkirk play ICT who are on 37 points (assuming todays game stays as it is). They can't both win so Accies are safe. As it stands... Accies 38 Midden 37 ICT 37 Falkirk 35 ... with ICT v Falkirk and St Midden v Accies next weekend.
  11. As it stands, the bottom of the league would look like this...... ICT 38 Accies 38 Midden 37 Falkirk 35 ... with ICT v Falkirk and St Midden v Accies next weekend. Falkirk have a better goal difference than all three teams so a loss could see anyone relegated - a draw might not be enough for St Mirren either. It really could be anyone of the four - probably one of those afternoons where the team being relegated will change quite a few times as the games progress. Should be interesting.
  12. Fuck the Accies. Relegation fodder.
  13. Nae idea, I was just getting rid of some unnecessary words in Haggis' post. EDIT: Reading it back, putting the full stop in bold didn't really make the difference I intended.
  14. Cheers Neil. I was wondering what was going on, just assumed the BBC had forgot to flick a switch or something.

Aye, that's cracking. Best of luck with it.

Why would I do that? Unless you're suggesting we'll pull our punches in those games too. I don't think I'm out of order in expecting the team to try to win any game we play.

That's the worst friendly I've been to in ages. I've never been so bored at a Motherwell game in my puff. Who cares about flattering a poor (even for ICT) visiting team when we can shite it from every tackle to make sure we get our game against The Woolpack XI or the Rovers Return Select? The team were obviously under instructions not to get booked and that's understandable given the circumstances but it still sticks in my craw. That said, we've been gutless for most of the season, why change it now?

There should be a big yellow streak right up the back of it after that display tonight.
  19. Change my opinion on the fud that sold Kid Kirk and plummeted us down the table? Never. I'm far too petty for that.

    Clarky - 250 Up!

I honestly don't think that's got anything to do with it. I think most Dossers are happy with any player who has a bit of skill and who'll knock their pan in for Motherwell FC. Clarky fits the bill.
