I'm sorely tempted to take the 6/4 on offer for an ICT win. We'll no get it easy up there, not this time. I hope Sheridan doesn't play, though he did have his best game as a 'Well player last week when Celtic came to town.

Whit he said ^^^. Pweeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.
-
Please Mister, can we git wur hoop back? Pleeeeeeeeeeeease.
-
I'm just a wannabe.
-
I'm surprised at that, though I did notice that my usual neighbours weren't in their usual places. I've not moved and I have no intention of moving.

Just heard him on the radio talking about our pitch. He says he has "been told about a website" and he'll be "reading out some stuff from it on tonights show". Could be interesting.
-
He's a bit heavy-handed with the metaphor trowel, he obviously has delusions of being a real writer. On topic, I heard Ewan Cameron start the "dock Motherwell points" pish about 10 minutes ago. Very predictable.
-
A very welcome point and a place in the Top 6.

YYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Ya dancer.

Bastard. Had to be that wee wank. 'Mon the 'Well. INTAETHUM.

Further to the posts from welldaft and phoenix, I've read several things recently, from internet posts to calls on the Rancid's 'phone thingy, about Celtic fans either boycotting the game or urging other Celtic fans to boycott the game. Fuck them, Fir Park is better off without them, the more that stay away the better. It flies in the face of Boyle's kow-towing to the OF and that's the way it should be. Motherwell F.C should have Motherwell fans as their first priority, no-one else. I don't give a monkeys about the profit/loss column, I'd much prefer 'Well fans in a 'Well stand, it's a home game for fucks sake. If businessmen want to tinker with fitba then the laws of business will apply, I'll part with my cash at Diamond Dolls or Seventh Heaven where I get better value for my money. The last time Celtic came to Fir Park, their fans in the Cooper could easily have fitted into the large spaces in the South, no doubt with the proposed boycott it'll be even easier this time around. Add to that the amount of 'Well fans who have chosen not to attend Fir Park when the OF visit (or even chosen not to attend at all) until the situation is rectified. Whilst I'm not claiming we'd automatically sell-out an OF game, I'd suggest that what Motherwell F.C really needs is Motherwell F.C fans. The OF come maybe 4 times a season, we're there 38 times a season. Money, whilst important, is not as valuable as principles or integrity. It's our hoose, we should look after our own first. Though I fear it may be too late, under the current regime at least.

Ya bastard.

Good. I'd prefer it if that bet fails.

Just stuck a fiver on Dargo first scorer (12/1). I'm still not convinced about Sheridan. Get Sutton on.

Utter pish in the first half, Accies must've been sickened to be a goal down at half-time, we were never in it. An improvement in the second half though and we could have had at least another goal. Absolutely delighted to beat them. I haven't celebrated a goal like I did today for a wee while now, partly because it was so against the run of play and partly because it was against Accies. The ref had an absolute howler and I wish a plague of pox on that c**t McClenahan. Today was the first I've seen Sheridan in a 'Well jersey (I fucked up my work rotas so I missed the St Midden cup game) and I wasn't impressed by him. Seemed to me that when he didn't get/win the ball he just gave up and continued wandering aimlessly. The celebrations of Jim O'Brien and in particular Paul Quinn at the final whistle showed how much the win meant, they felt it the same way we did. 'Mon the 'Well.

Dear Mal Content, I have read your article, I have considered the points you have made and I have duely searched my heart, soul and conscience to find a way to redeem my "family club" in the eyes of both yourself and other fans of Celtic F.C. Please understand that, as fans, we are powerless to take action on this subject but, collectively, we would not like you or your fellow Celts to be under any mis-apprehension of what Motherwell fans may be thinking. Our chairman is not the most popular man amongst the Motherwell support and what he says or does, does not necessarily represent the views of the Motherwell support as a whole. Having said that, pay up or fuck off, we don't need your wannabe-martyr "every c**t's oot tae get us" shite. The whole of Scottish football is sick to death with the paranoid pish that both sides of the Old Firm consistently spout. Organise your "protest" and stay the fuck away, then maybe we can get 'Well fans back in a 'Well stand, the stand they've paid to sit in. Thanks in advance, Cakes.

Aye, that. Ireland, England, Botswana or East Timor. RC, C of S, Muslim or Hari Krishna. I couldn't give a monkey's about the variables, the constant of a Scot snubbing Scotland is the key point.

How do the Irish feel about McGeady/McCarthy? They must be sick to the back teeth with squads made up of psuedo-Irish players. I think I'm right in saying that the 22 man squad Ireland sent to USA '94 had something like 6 Irishmen in it (?). I know I'd rather have 11 Scots on the pitch in blue, playing with their heart instead of some imposters, flying a flag of convenience because they can't get a game for their first choice. International football has lost all integrity. I blame the grand-parent rule. Playing for a parent's country I can understand but they should draw the line there. On the subject of McCarthy.... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. He's a flash in the pan and at the moment, as his flame burns brightest, he's mediocre. No loss. If he wants to jump ship because he wasn't an automatic selection for the Scotland senior squad when he was the ripe old age of 15, fuck him. He's either spoiled, big-headed or bigotted, either way we can do without him.

We needed that. Well, I know I did.

It's the sign on the bottom right that makes it.

I heard on the radio not long ago that Killen will be offered to Hibs as part of a bid for Fletcher. £2million + Killen apparently.

I agree that the top tier of the South is a shite place to watch a game from but the decision to put the Falkirk fans there was (as Al B says) entirely down to the Falkirk board. I don't see how Motherwell can take any flak for that, given that they offered the Falkirk board the choice of where their fans should be located. Personally, I much prefer it when the visiting fans are in the lower tier, it "adds to the atmosphere", but that's by-the-by. While I'm here, aye the tannoy is shite but as far as the H&S argument goes, I believe that plod use a seperate system to relay their information (as previously posted), so it's a fairly moot point unless the visiting fans are desperate to hear who's birthday it is this week. As for the state of the South, I don't imagine it's much worse than the rest of the ground. I've only ever watched two games from there and I didn't see any discernable difference from my usual haunt (The East).
