This whole scandal is just depressing beyond belief and is symptomatic of the disease that is eating away at the game. We're second class citizens in world football due to the OF cncer and all its associated symptoms. Our fitbas pish and everything about our administration is pish. Everyone is a supporter of one half of the old firm - even if you're not - that's just a front to cover what half of the OF you really support. Every second news article has some subversive sectarian tinged sub plot Everyone has some OF related agenda The non OF teams are secretly affiliated to one half of the OF and lie down to one half while trying like fuck against the other. All refs are affiliated to one half of the OF and that's how they base their decisions. They scare the fuck out of the SFA The sooner these two fuck off elsewhere the sooner our game can concentrate on the future of scottish football and the decent clubs that make up the game here.

Reading the 'Transfer Window' Thread got me thinking. How many times does a player actually discover greener grass in footballing terms after 'using' Motherwell as a stepping stone? For a good few it has worked out - but for loads it hasn't or has yet to. Financially, yes - in the short term at least these guys tend to make money - but that's not everything is it? Some do it with dignity others do it with their gob flapping about in the wind that their belly rumbling has caused. There are those who specifically say that they're away for something 'better' - destined for the heights. Step forward Brian Kerr, Graeme Smith and Fraser Wishart (lets collectively tally up the international caps and winners medals shall we) - Fuck 'em! Recent departees Quinn, O'Brien, Clarkson, Porter, McCormack, Hughes have had very limited success in the Chumpionship or League 1. In fact I don't even know if Hughes is still a UK resident. Coke seems to be fitting in at Wednesday and Juke is doing 'alright' at Coventry Faddy has obviously done well for himself - but probably has disappointed in terms of how high a profile he has actually achieved - although for me I'm chuffed to bits for the guy for everything that he's got from the game. Wee fat arse McDonald, Pearo, Phil and Andy Wanker had success at C****c short to medium term and patchy results when they were eventually dispensed with. Interesting times eh? If I were in the ref camp - i'd be starting to talk about 'next' weeks games - because as time goes on it looks like the SFA's plan B is dead in the water. For them to show exactly how important they are to the game - then they need to follow through on the threat and make the point (rather than threaten to). Other problems just to stir things up a bit - Refs being brought in from edam land or wherever for a sat morning Pitch inspection due to the weather? Possible? Undersoil heating if the temps plummet far enough - do the clubs turn it on or not?

it's very clear - they want refs to be scared to give anything against them and to be pressured even more into giving decisions for them. It isn't enough for a few thousand unwashed cretins jump up in unison when someone farts in the direction of Shaum Mahoney As a fan for 30 odd years - It's fucking astounding that they could even contemplate suggesting that they don't get calls. I'll tell you what - i wish I had a pound for every dodgy decision / penalty / offside shout the bastards have been given agains us in my time as a supporter.
