You can't say that on here! But I agree with every word airfinz. Short term doin great - long term I just don't see where we're going and agree that the young guys coming through need some game time and a least a fighting chance to play to their strengths when they get a sniff. The old Scotland addage - 11 or 12 first pick players that will play in any combination / any position just to keep those names on paper. We seen it with the Hateley at left back issue the other week. Playing someone woefully out of position - just to avoid bring one of the 'lesser lights' in. Didn't do Hateley any favours!

True Stu! The content of the post is bang on - of couse it is. There should be a safe / recognised standing area. Inflatables in the home or away end aren't gonna kill anybody. Hypersensitive stewarding is detracting from the atmosphere. There are huge double standards wrt to when the old firm come to town and they get away with murder. Smoke bombs are a bit naughty yadda yadda yadda. All well and good. However the original post was too much of a gift horse not to take the opperchancity of a bit of fun. Plus it's been done to death Apologies for that chrissyp

Da Stewarts r pish

Blackman is making noises about wanting to stay as is Gow. No need to let Fitzy go so there's three that could be on the cards. Some of the fringe players could be doing with a bit of game time as could the off U19 and we've got some players out on loan that could come back.
-
Tom Hateley hasn't dissed the fuckin club tho!
-
I'd be majorly pissed if Broon let someone who wants to play for Motherwell leave and sign that fuckin twat who made his feelings crystal clear. He can make up the numbers on the training pitch - other than that he can FRO he deserves no support from the East Stand
-
Craig Brown is the man responsible for ensuring the wage bill is allocated wisely and that players on board are commited to the club. Brian Kerr does not fit this bill!
-
I hope Helmand Province Utd beat us to him
-
I'd sign the wee fuck. purely so that the wife beaters lay off Forbes and Gow
-
What's really fucking annoying tho is that in playing the way he did on saturday he's probably set him back a fair bit. Forbes is by no means a bad footballer, in fact i'm pretty sure he'll come good. But he could do with at least having a sporting chance of contributing positively. A couple of opportunities in the right position away from home (away from the wife beaters) would do him the world of good. The fact that we see someone with 3 starts (or whatever it is) and a couple of sub appearances as being the main reason we lost the game is a bit arse over tit and continues to protect one or two sacred cows. interesting quote from extremely shite manager Mixu Pitalineon - but how much do I wish his words were attributed to Craig Brown
-
We are also missing pies. Went for a famous Chapmans at hawf time (sharp too). not a single one to be had. Famous Chapmans Half-time pies. On the stroke of half time. Not a fuckin one to be had!

The match thread is saying that he's being used at the scapegoat and probably wasn't used in the best circumstances yesterday. He's had fuck all game time this season - how can he possibly be a legitimate scapegoat for yesterday and unless he gets first team game time how can we judge him the same way as guys that are there every week. A bit of breathing space is required. Grind yer axe elsewhere
-
No argument about where we are in the league. There's always more too it than that though
-
If a fit Hutchison isn't worthy of a place in that defence then I'm dumbfounded. The worst central defender on the park yesterday, in a match between an SPL side and a pub team, was wearing claret and amber. I'm looking forward to the day that he pairs up with Saunders as our first choice central defensive pairing. I'm hoping we can get the breathing space to do that soon. (I know a lot of you worry about relegation and the like)

This has been coming for some time. Our away form is excellent and we'll continue our form away from FP no trouble. Even though they're doing well I still fancy us to take something from the Teuchters. At home we've been inviting trouble onto ourselves from the start of the season. A humping from a decent side or like yesterday a defeat from a pub team were quite frankly on the cards. We need to freshen it up a wee bit. Continue to give Forbes game time (in the right position). Rest some of the current 'cemented in XI'. and give McHugh, Page, Hutch and Fitzy some game time. For instance, for me (and I know a lot of you don't agree) if you're looking to fill in for Las - the best option for us is Fitz. He's more capable of that role than any of the other options. Even Forbes in centre mid to be available to get the ball and pass the ball. Looking for a mobile front man to run at defences replacing Murph? - you aint gonna find it in Forbes or Sutton. Thats gonna be McHugh or even Fitz at a push. Looking for a centre forward to pump high balls to? Alan Gow ain't yer man. How about Sutton in there? If Saunders or Craigan are having a mare. Then I'm pretty sure the tracksuits given to Hutch and Page are removable. Airfinz made a point about Broon a few months back about his Scotland track record for playing players in the wrong position and the concept of the permanently inked starting Xi regardless of form and he was flamed He was spot on.

True. But senior international defenders have a duty not to down aircraft or maim supporters in the back row of the stands with their passes. I know lots of you don't like when he's not playing or being hooked at half time. Craigan was the most accurate Hamilton passer yesterday. We need a centre forward to play as a centre forward. We need to change it when it's not working. The list is very long. Craig Thompson was pish - i agree. But he didn't lose us the game
-
How can we blame the midfield when the defece play balls that would clear Tinto and don't stay in the park? The roots of yesterdays defeat lie at the door of more 'senior' figures in the playing and managerial staff. In typical fashion we're blaming the easy targets and avoiding the big fucking elephant in the living room! All I heard yesterday was that Forbes and Gow should get to fuck and that Hately was pish. If that's the bottom line yesterday and that was the reason we were beaten then I'll eat ma bunnet. We've had this discussion before - folk screaming at Forbes to be a winger or come wide. If it's not his game or more importantly, not where he's been asked to play then he isn't gonna play there. He plays where Brown tells him, not where you or I do while we're taking a hissy fit
-
Aye that's the rule almost to the letter. If it doesn't enter play it's a retake
-
I'd be more inclined to say Craig Brown had a bigger influence on the result than Craig Thomnpson had
-
Total pish football game. Craig Brown needs to find an approach that works for home games. Craigan's long ball pepper spray is a fuckin abomination and needs to end as of now. I've said the above about our home form all season and it looks like a few who were giving me pelters are starting to see it. Saunders thinks he can get away with it too - learning from example. GET THE BALL ON THE FUCKING DECK! The midfield are getting pelters but they were being comletely missed out We didn't have anybody in the centre forward position all game. The service to the front guys was pish and that coupled with the fact that Thompson allowed the old bear hug tactics to go unpunished all day added to the frustration. I mentioned it last week as well. Brown needs to replace the players that are missing with players who can play a similar game. Forbes wasn't the guy to come in for the very mobile Murphy today - it did nobody any favours. Why was McHugh not Murphy's replacement?? What was the Sutton substitution all about. We were screaming for a centre forward and we threw him on left mid. We have players on the bench that need to be used to freshen things up - what's the fucking point of them being there. How many times did players fight over who was hitting dead balls? When will we sort out our piss poor throw in situation? We gave 3 points away to a very poor pub team today when we have the players that could wipe the fuckin floor with them. Broonie, sort it out sir! But finally - well played Chris Humphrey!

Spoke briefly to Stevie at a Sportsmans Dinner earlier. He's looking OK but obviously has been impacted by the wee scare in the US and I believe his missus is doing all the drivin etc. Anyway it was a priviledge to meet the big man again and show him the OSB Kid Kirk cartoon (which I had a photo of on ma phone) Looks like he has a wee bit to go - but looks to be on the way to recovery. Take Care Stevie

We need to seriously raise our belief level and between us and the club get a positive mindset together as we head towards this. If we go expecting a drubbing. Guess whit we'll no be that upset if it happens. If we convey to the playing side of the club that we're heading to this game 'expecting' this. Then guess whit? If we go a goal down the mindset will be "a fuck it nobody expected us to win this" This is our time to do this! It's Craig Brown's time to do this. It's our time to go in there and finally get something against this mob. I dunno about you but I'm fed up with these bastards robbing us or in the Final a few years back - us not turning up. Lets everybody associated with the club go and fuckin do this!
-
Why? Naebody's goin cas we're gonna get pumped In aboot these bastards!
