  1. I'd like to see Broon introduce a wee bit of rotation or earlier substitutions. Would be better for us as a team and for individuals involved if the likes of Forbes and Gow get a wee bit longer / aren't only thrown on to try and get us back into a game
  2. I'd agree with that - However this shows that you totally agree with what I said really. You just wanted to vent a bit more.
  3. Sailing a bit close to 3 strikes big man Sitting in the rang end and dubious patter about one of our own
  4. Very true Matt. watched the stream yesterday and we were value for money all the way until that inexplicable arse collapse. R*****s took advantage when the seen a chink in the armour after sneaking that goal straigh after the restart. 2-1, 4-1, 6-1 disnae matter - sometimes it works and we get can sneak a draw - and these occasions should be celebrated as massive acievements - when it doesny work it can result in a hammering simple as that. We shouldn't get hung up on it - it wasn't a 'disgrace' and I didn't think the drubbing last season was a 'disgrace' either. We went there and tried to do the fuckers - that will always do for me. For 45 mins we looked absolutely in control of proceedings. Well done lads! Bring on Utd.
  5. Thouroughly deserved some brilliant play back to front. Keeping the ball well. Fingers crossed for the same in the 2nd
  6. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssssssss
  7. Aaah but we're really talking aboot Salim Lazylegs or whatever though. Is he gonnae sign?
  8. Thought that maself although a) it is the gossip page and b) thinking the next window might be what's meant. I'm sure a couple of our 'six month' guys will move on
  9. Algerian defender Salim Lazreg claims he will sign for Motherwell at the end of the season. (daily Express)
  10. I'm sure I read on one of the other threads it was zero and that in fact he was actually to blame for most of the goals we've conceded.
  11. Agreed Finlay. It's all been a bit vague. Like you say we know that we're leaking dosh to keep the place afloat - but what's the actual ball park figure to rebuild the POD. I know I'm being a nosey auld fud - but I'd like the dug to see the rabbit so to speak
  12. It needs to be done right. We're all arguing in the dark and that's partly down to the club unfortunately. I've never seen anything presented on what's required to redevelop Fir Park and what that actually would cost. That would be the rebuilding of the East and the POD. It may well be - even highly likely that it would be cost prohibitive. But what are the costs and what would that redevelopment look like? What will Ravenscraig look like? Are we to believe that neither of these options have been evaluated and presented to the board and why are we so far back from a public discussion or declaration of intent? I've made the point for a while now too - I find it 'unusual' that we dont have/ haven't had a long standing fund for stadium development / move.
  13. I'll even pay for the stamp. Honest.
  14. Watch what yer saying wee prez ahmandinejad reads the boards
  15. You're right we shouldn't they deserve every penny - it's just a bitch there isn't another major religion to grasp onto - we're just bitter old bottom feeders
  16. If yer man enuff admit that mibbez ye were a wee bit manic and yer outburst was a bit ott so that Alan can tell the girl that everythings alright - no small children were killed etc - I'll send ye my copy of the missing prog in the post FOC (I take it it's the St Mirren one from Saturday) Whaddya think? You upfer a bit of backtrackin?
  17. Loans (visible), paying of certain wages (invisible) - other costs? who knows. if we say that in a press release then I'm pretty sure there's some serious bailing out going on
  18. If you count the element of bankrolling that JB continues to support.
  19. Can we get thon big muckle sprinler system for the surface re-routed to the roof of the south stand and rigged up to go off at the sound of the word "Hello". Now that I'd set the record button for!
  20. Worrying news indeed - Get Well Soon Stevie from the creator of 'Kid Kirk' "Pick that yin oot!"
  21. We've been round this loads of times and there loads of pipe dreams (some just a bit too wacky mind ya) Scottish Football is in survival mode - talk is of 'continued existence' - not elaborate expansion. There are so many things that need to positively change in Scottish Football before we can even have a chance of looking to develop beyond continuing on a shoestring budget and making (or just about making) ends meet. I'm happy that we appear to have brought someone in who can help develop the club - looks like he's a big well fan so that's great. However we see in other news stories of the week how the 'new blood in the boardroom story' can hit the skidders. We all need to see how this develops. Looks promising tho' As for a stadium - like another poster mentioned earlier, I believe we blew it a couple of seasons back - there must have been a deal on the table when the college move was on the go - surely? it may take a while for that to come round again. The very most we could ever imagine with the sale of the existing ground and some generous development funding is Parc y Scarlets. That seriously is as far as we could ever dream of going - and that's way on the high end of optimistic. The expectation must be a New St Mirren Park bolted on to the Regional Sports Facility I'm afraid and if that's not handled well - we could be looking at another chunk off the crowds.
