  3. I know - bring back Paul Kinnaird and Gordon Mair
  4. This place is fuckin' nuts fatcalf
  5. Nah! Remember we signed Fraser in the Jan
  6. I think it will be a mix of both mate. Not too fussed about that either. I think loanees are fine and don't see them as anything other than our players in the time that they are here. Gannon will take us forward in the right way and there'll be enough money coming in from the conveyor belt to take us forward by further establishing the young contracted players supplemented by loanees to keep us battling in the league.
  7. Not that I could see - and I cant remember one in the Star or Express articles either. Very poor from the beeb.
  8. There isn't a direct McGhee quote to go on though.
  9. Too late mate - I read some of this pish earlier and had a real gusher! I was completely mock outraged that some of the happy clappers can't see through this Gannon character.
  10. I'm sure you'll be sorted mate
  11. You're all a bunch of pant wetters!
  12. The Express article is exactly the same. I think O'Brien has improved considerably under Gannon and although McGhee brought him from Celtic - he also left him out in the cold for a while and impacted his confidence and its only really this season that we've seen what we can do. It was always a risk that O'Brien would move on given that his contract is up in the summer. the article appears to be mixing it up a wee bit though - similar to the Porter to Hearts debacle last year just befor the Jambo's visited. (lets hope we have a similar type of outcome this year) also more talk of unrest with the senior players. I don't see O'brien being unhappy though as he appears to be a virtual stick on for the team sheet. If he goes, regardless of what many 'Well fans still say (i.e. he's no that good), he'll be a miss - a load of our goals this season have come from free kicks an pens he has won, his work ethic is bang on and some of his general play is great to watch.
  13. We'll probably organise / help organise the police and stewards but won't be liable for any of the costs
  14. You may mock - but I remember I had leaf spot once - 3 courses of anti-biotics man.
  15. It's a great wee stadium! Anyway - even if the thick Hearts fan doesn't know the playing surface has been relaid. The thick Scotsman journalist should. Both obviously have memory loss about the state of the Hampden and Easter road pitches last year too.
  16. I've got a mate in Peterborough - says he saw Gannon and Ward in WH Smith buying a local maps book
  17. Allegedly 6K with the gazebo! So another 2 n a bit K could've got in allegedly.
  18. I haven't seen anybody arguing with you my fellow Shottsonian
  19. I don't know what type of contract he's on - can't remember it being reported at the time. I do remember that Motherwell announced he had joined, ahead of him officially joining, stating that a few legal technicalities had to be tied up. I imagine Gannon worked hard to get most of the clauses built in to his contract. Remember the discussions at the time as well that Gannon also tied in a % of transfer fees of players he develops. Lots of talk however about his loyalty and that being one of his major attributes. Although that may have been tested by the way he left Stockport. i.e. he may not be as loyal from now on in. My personal opinion based on the way he appears to operate is that I'd be surprised if he left. I'd also be very disappointed as Gannon 'the person' has impressed me since he arrived. However with the start he's had I'm not surprised he's attracting attention. Not a lot in the press. the media in Brighton appear to be favouring the scattergun approach and the Southend manager is now favourite (to them).
  20. I've wet my pants at the amount of time on the fringes has said 'pant wetters' in his recent posts. I'm totally mock outraged
  21. Rangers fans claim Romanian police spat in their faces and shouted "Celtic" in their faces during Wednesday's Champions League tie against Unirea Urziceni in Romania. (The Sun) Superintendent Mike Dean of Strathclyde Police has backed Rangers' claims that poor organisation and heavy-handed policing sparked the trouble in Romania. (Daily Record) Uefa will take into consideration the poor disciplinary record of Rangers fans when considering the latest crowd scenes during the Champions League tie with Unirea Urziceni. (Daily Record) Rangers face being forced to play future European games behind closed doors should Uefa rule against the club's fans. (Daily Express) The Scottish FA will launch its own investigation into the violence in Romania with president George Peat warning that Uefa is planning its biggest-ever crackdown on fan violence. (The Sun)
