I think the argument that we need to hang on to experience / seasoned pros though is something that holds no water with Gannon. If someone can move on thats on a decent wage and he can bring in a younger model thats gonna play the ball on the deck at pace in the style he wants then that's what'll happen. The development in a matter of weeks shown by the likes of Saunders and Hutch is incredible. Saunders looked like a nervous laddie at the Shyberry vs Llannelli - getting pelters from the stand - look at him now - and hats off to both him and Gannon. Hutch I think has the potential to develop into the best defender we have ever seen in my lifetime at The Ark. I really do think he looks as if he's capable of eclipsing McCart, Mio, Nijholt, Buff, van der Gaag even Danny Murphy

Aye they've sold loads. Goalie tops / kits are bought for kids in the main (you never really see adults in any ground wearing goalie kits) - and at the time it was launched I'm sure someone said pre-orders were booming. Seen some girls wearing it at Paisley and a few folk walking out the shop with it on Saturday.

Right now I wouldn't sacrifice anybody for them (don't think I said anything about that). And never anywhere did I say whether I agreed or disagreed with any opinions about their ability. We talk about punting players like we're fans of the OF. We're Motherwell and should be talking about these lads with a bit more respect that's all. if they move on they move on in the right way. We just don't kick them out the door because we've gone aw billy big baws in the gannon era!

I watched the highlight last night to see this mysterious nalty for myself. What could the radio commentators be on about (no one in the ground bar the ref knew why it had been given)? What could poor wee Gus be on about. Jee Soh Man! When you see it it's a stonefuckinwaller. if I had thought it was soft I'd have no hesitation in saying that. You say all these debatable jobs every week. However I defy anyone to explain to me why that wasn't an absolute stone waller.
