Whit? Take it or leave it - don't be offended by it.

To be 100% honest and with respect - it looked like the first leg was the freak result.

Yes well and truly humped Flamster. Good of you to come back on. Good luck for the season ahead

There's a couple of posts further back on this Tassinari. We came off the M8 and over the A73 through Chapelhall about 7.15 and it was slow going. Any alternative to that would be better.

We always have some interesting chats on here about the trust and I know I'm risking all sorts by starting this. However, here goes. During one of the heated discussions about their roles, merits, members etc. i said to myself "well you know maybe I should support these guys and see what it's all about". I spoke to a couple of the regular posters and I signed up / paid my dues. And that's been it. Full stop. Nothing else no communication or infor ar anything. So I paid my membership and know absolutely nothing about what the MST is all about, meetings anything. Web-site's been down for (at least) a couple of days. Thing is I'm skint ahead of payday - and if the money I gave them in good faith a few months back is still kicking around . . . . . Anyone know what's going on? Anyone around who is getting communicated out of existance by them - have I just failed to get on a mailing list.

That's just pure mental When a new manager comes in nothing is bolted down.

In the wee office block at the corner of the Cooper Stand and the Phil O'Donnel (Main) Stand stevie. Canny Miss it - "Ticket Office" above the door gives the game away

Sounds too far fetched to be made up - coming up with that line-up would mean an in-depth knowledge of the squad and the new guys. Perhaps there was a hint along these lines dropped at the press conference yesterday. Even though its a significant change from last week - it still technically pre-season and Gannon needs to be seen to be changing things round to reflect his style. OK its a big change bit it may be a big chang towards a settled gannon style. McGhee' changes last year was just his attempts to be a master tactician. All of the points amde about players being in an unfamiliar line up - could be levelled at any match we've played so far. Right now everything's up in the air. if we've been working on it intensely in training (like a couple have said) maybe it's a goer.

Don't think it is mate - I just think there are times and places for those type of comments. i'm not saying you shouldn't make them - but compost corner's the best place where it goes on nae hassle. I'm not offended either. in an open forum about the football team - men, women, kids present etc - some folk are gonny think yer not big nor clever. And by the way - I don't think anybody on here is in charge of the country. anyhoo on to more pressing matters I joined the trust months ago and parted wi some cash - and haveny heard diddly squat by email, snail mail or carrier pigeon - any idea if we're alive?

Will be intersting to see if we officially respond to Shrewsbury and Northhampton via the website or through the media in any way. Quite strongly worded statements from both of them on the players and us as a club. I've got a funny feeling that both these clubs might be stuffed and that MFC will just wait for Association clearance on both. Interested to see Northamptons comments on 'verbal contracts' which are all well and good - but I'm of the understanding that a player's registaration with an association is logged with a copy of a signed contract. Stripped to the waist. marquess of Queensbury rules and all that The thot plickens.

With the way the last couple of singnings have come about it's good that there's not an English Pie and Bovril - I couldy handle both sides of the cyberspace border hating us Nah i could really! C'mon the 'Well / C'mon the Gannster

I'm happy to let Gannon run on this. There's a stark reality that a few of us seem to be missing in that. All the money we have made in transfers, sell-on fees and compensation in the last couple of years has been absorbed into the running costs of the club. That will continue for a long long time. JG has a playing budget that he will use as he see's fit - the same as previous managers. McGhee almost got us hung last season for having a very small squad where we had a few big earners, some players who had come up through the ranks and were earning a moderate wage and some young guys. He turned it round to an extent when players came back at the turn of the year - but a longer injury crisis running into February say, could have crippled us. JG seems to me to be more in the McLean mould where the wage scales are flatter - I don't think he'll tolerate a couple of bigger names earning much higher wages - i think it'll be a bunch of guys all of a similar level wage wise. That is a more accepted way of building a team unit. We might have a team that is capable of competing on the park with high hitting Championship teams over 90mins we can't possibly expect us to pick off players that these clubs will be interested in when we have less TV money and 4000 punters coming through the gate (with 4 or 5 less home games as these guys as well) I'm proud to be a fan of Motherwell - what we've achieved consistently over the years and particularly since administration has been astonishing. Long may it continue. We forget our position in the food chain vs what we've actually achieved far too easily.

It was discussed earlier in this thread or somewhere else and I also think it was on one of Jennings interviews that - he moved north because of Gannon's interest in him as moving from Merseyside wasn't something that he was particularly keen on - but something he would consider after Jimbo's interest. A one year deal was struck so we can size him up and he can size up the SPL - that's how it was reported anyway. So if the 'give us a try' approach has been successful in attracting one player - then why not use it again to attract more players. The one year deals so far have options as far as I'm aware.. If there's no fee involved - and they move on for nowt at the end of the year then we've not really lost anything have we? If he brings in a few some will go some will stay - and he appears to have loads of leads - so those guys who go will be replaced. If we were shelling out a big transfer fee for a one year deal I'd be concerned. I'm OK with this approach.

Yeah - i know mate. And to be fair I've seen him a few times promoting his homeland so that's fair enough.

The very same Rudi "Come to Albania" Vata that was mumping his gums about Motherwell affronting his nation too

it's also good that somebody that wants to be here has our number 7 shirt

Faddy's v Livi was probably my fave too - loved when he was in fits of laughter getting the captain's armband. Kirkies 4 vs the shitey saints was a belter too. - some great strikes
