  5. I've got a really bad feeling that they'll just transplant the old setanta programme over to the new channel (minus the big fella of course, who for me was their only decent asset). Booth, Burley, Lovell, McNee, Walker, Rob Mclean etc etc etc. How huuuuuuuge a mistake would transferring those miserable bastards over be?
  6. I think Scotts getting a bit of a doing here. I don't have the facts but would like to think the story was balanced before it was handed over to the editorial team. I think we'd have reacted badly / worse if someone else had written it.
  7. This is less money than the clubs want. But like what's been said before - The clubs have a duty to entertain. if the 'Other 10' don't start standing up to the OF for a twelfth of the pie across the board then at some point we'll be screwed completely. I view this as a get out of jail card but also a wake up call. There should be less football on the telly and what there is should be a belter of a match. It shouldn't be a service for non away travelling OF fans. This is a wee bit of breathing space where some serious problems in the game should be sorted out. 1) wealth distribution 2) value for money at the turnstyle
  8. Aaaaaah right - cool. And your probably right about the gossip column - but then no smoke without fire and all that - might end up comin true

Cool Just a pity they show restraint and dignity in dishing it back - because we're fair game as well.

Sorry malky - but I laughed out loud at that!

Less sensitive than you think mate. However have been brought up to understand that if people are working through a difficult situation in their employment that has already caused a number of redundancies - i kinda think that they may be a wee bit concerned for their own job and fixing the situation first and foremost and i don't badger them for what in the grand scheme of things is an insignificant piece of info - i stand back and give them a wee bit of common courtesy and consideration at a difficult time. If that's 'sensitive' that's cool. Would you consider any of the posters 'insensitive' though?? Or are the PSL boys just fair game?

No you're not mate - everybody's interested in what the away kit looks like. Most are giving PSL and the club the breathing space to sort it though.

To be fair though you're backtracking ever so slightly - but were on a few posts suggesting that statements were not forthcoming, insinuationg witholding of info wanting info and statements at a time when people are trying to work through a significant bad situation - to turn it round for their companies and employers and families first and foremost. The conspiracy theory and constant sniping needs to stop.

Can I just answer this on behalf of Dave - as I'm sure he's about had enough of this shit. As part of PSL - this is happening to Dave, Alan and Co. They are handling the affairs of a small company through quite significant collapse of one of their major suppliers. So right now - it's not happening to you or I - it's a real life uncertain situation that they are managing themselves through. back the fuck off - and give them a bit of breathing space. This is their livelihood FFS . We'll get the next update when they're good and ready.

I'm sure they'll do it in time, man. But it'll not be on your timescale, man And in the grand scheme of things given the events of what's happened as long as the team have kit - which has been confirmed. It's fucking of miniscule importance to us whether there will be anything else whatsoever for us to buy. My thoughts are more with the families affected by redundancy and for anyone in the supply chain that are stressing out re job security - both at Canterbury, PSL, SRU or wherever. Have any of you thought about that? Sometimes we need to step back a wee bit and put things in perspective. We are not entitled to every bit of minuscule detail on demand. We need to step back and let these guys sort this situation out in due course. maybe it's just me - but I'm thinking that maybe the club will get round to even thinking about this when they get everyone back from Albania for a Europa League match.

Maybe I'm just reading Differently from you guys. It say's we've got enough stock for all teams for the season - maybe I'm just a glass half full kinda guy. It doesn't say "we have home but not away" It doesn't say "we have home kit for current players only"

Info? Already posted and discussed on here and posted on the official site. I'm reading that as if we have all the teamwear kit we need to complete a season. I think the question is whether the replica away kit will be available to buy - that's an unknown.
  22. You get cream for that Wiki says he's signed for Atletico sevilla on a 2 yr deal What's your info TS?
  23. I've got a great photo of Jim in his outfit from Stanislas Sq. on my phone that makes me smile every time I look at it (it's just after the one with Special AKA and his fetching lemon beret) - I hope we're all as enthusiastic and colourful in our later years following the 'well. Without going down the route of the old thread I'd just like to say that I hope Jim recovers fully and his ability to attend Fir park and his enjoyment isn't affected by this in the slightest. All the Best Sir!

So now it becomes entirely possible that due dilligence has been done. I'm sure the PSL guys on the board are looking forward to a nice wee post or PM to redress the balance. You're entitled to your views, as we all are, but some of the stuff you said from a relatively good position of knowledge were perhaps a bit unfair.
