Buzz trying to be all European and continental appears to be what was what was going on
  3. I've got the new shirt and don't think it's poor quality in the slightest. The guys have explained to get away from a stitched in band to get a hoop back that could accomodate a transfer on number on the back - it had to be printed. It was designed completely in house. Loads of folk had it on last night and dont see them on here complaining about it. That being said if there's a problem with an individual shirt it should be (and guess would be replaced) I've heard that the players think that their base layer version is the dogs.
  4. Maybe thats what he asked for - and will weigh up Scottish football in that year

There is some complete shite being spouted on this thread. Aye and one of the fir trees on the badge was a bit squinty - shame on you Canterbury!
  6. Don't let reading and understanding the actual direct quotations affect your ability to get hooked by the sensationalist headline and help the journalist out in spreading a myth about a disagreement in the camp. if you asked Craigan about Gannon's comments he'd probably agree wholeheartedly.
  7. That's certainly true that is! The fact that we're having this debate after this overall team performance tonight is astounding. To be honest though there are guys that just fuckin love when he puts even the slightest foot wrong. Absolutely cream themselves that the veins in their neck are bulging and all that venom is flowing Go have a word with yourselves or fuck off and watch somebody else.
  8. Compensation for MFC Compensation for 3 x ex management team McGhee and Leitches wages for 09 / 10 (allegedly lower than here) Getting McGhee in has blown Aberdeen's budget - sound familiar
  9. Can only echo what's been said already - A brilliant servant to the club who has come through a hell of a lot in his time here. No matter how low his head got at times he ran himself into the ground. Cheers Clarky! All the very best mate!
  10. Graeme Smith - The new Fraser Wishart. What a complete fud
  11. We need a manager that fits the requirement of the post. Someone who is regarded as a success in terms of achievement and playing style in harsh financial conditions vs people looking for a transfer / footballing budget we can provide. I don't think there's another decision that could have been made. I wish Jimbo all the best.
  12. Here's a question for the stattos - if clarky and quinn go, along with those already away - what percentage of last years goals go with them? Riddle me that 'well stat dudes!
  13. Looks like we're doing some job of clearing out the dead wood from the playing and coaching staff - mcghee, leitch, hughes, smith, mclean, clarky, quinn, reynolds, malcolm, most of the U19's plus all the loan dudes - klimpl, sheridan, krysiak, etc.
  14. missed arbroath's 4 due to a simultaneous post by the looks - so that's 15
  15. We did it for Nancy - so lets see how its shaping up for Llanelli. Add the number travelling with you and add it to the running total from the previous post. 3 in our party - so that's 3 for a kick off
  16. I'm sure BBC has the Griffiths to Dundee deal as concluded.
  17. So was mine. There would never be a need to move a tie away from Fir Park saddle sniffer
  18. Now that the club have sorted out sending down a full comliment of supporters, could they please turn their attantion to sending down a full comliments of players and coaching staff
  19. That's mince they'd get 3500 in the South stand that's more than enough for any away support in a Euro tie.
  20. I'm not really a panicker and I'm generally happy that the club appear to being thourough and meticulous in their search for a gaffer. However looking at the potential in's and out's and those implications on the start to the Europa League campaign (up until this morning it looked as though that team although thin on the bench would pick itself) I was quite happy for things to take their natural course, however, I think it's cards on the table time with the appointment. I imagine they've had a chance to speak to everybody now. Time for the club to get the sleeves rolled up for the preparation for the new season. Let's be havin' ya!
  21. I've no problem with Clarskson leaving as he's been a great servant to the club. I'm disappointed to lose him - but understand his position. Like johnstone said (in a round about way) if it looks like he's off and as a club we've decided for whatever reason to sell then we should be doing what we can to involve other clubs in a bidding war. I know i may be speaking out of turn as I'm not party to the way the club deals with contracts and extensions - but it looks like we're not winning the battle with players and agents and we can't seen to maximise the transfer fees as much as other clubs. We've done well on occasions - but we've lost some decent players for nowt (or next to) in recent times. I think we need to be doing something different or innovative with contracts to maximise the benefit to the club, providing the player with options in certain bid scenarios while at the same time rewarding a bit of loyaty from the player.
