Thank fuck it's Fir Park and not a holed cruise ship. Because if that was an evacuation, if that was a tannoy, if they were stewards and if they were meant to be loud halers (which the fuckin looney in front of the East Stand was using at EXACTLY the same time as the indecipherable tannoy) then my fellow well fans, we'd all have drowned. When would you ever try to issue instructions with a loud haler when the headmaster from Charlie Brown was mumbling something through an old trombone through the tannoy system? Really Leeann you usually get the point, but you're a wee bit off base with this one. IMHO of course.

Updated article on the website confirming what we've been discussing. Not one word of explanation / justification or acknowledgement of the confusion caused by the stewards. Three days later we're looking for season ticket holders to pay in to the Team 12 game. You can see where that goodwill gesture will go.

The thing is, there's many more than Milo. It's all gonna be a drain on the club and an unnecessary inconvenience for a number of well fans. In the event of a match being abandoned. Give everybody one ticket on the way out then let everyone in via that voucher (minor problem with st holders who couldn't make original game) Or Give every paying customer a voucher and allow vouchers and STs admission on the night. Truth is yet again there's more vouchers out there than original attenders and stacks of season ticket holders have vouchers too because distribution was, once more a confusing mess. The club unfortunately need to take the hit and allow entry through voucher and season book on the night. Simple. Straight forward. No additional admin for the office.

Absolutely on the button mate. I've moved jobs so now working in Edinburgh so getting thru will be a pain. As I mentioned earlier stewards at the east stand were clearly telling season ticket holders not to take a voucher. What a fuck up

It was the guys dishing out the tickets that were shouting this. Sure it was mentioned earlier in the thread as well. So yeah, they were. Quite clearly, multiple times.

I tried to mail the club there just for a wee bit of clarification, but the mail bounced. I'm guessing because I use gmail. Anyway, I read the article on the club website on the rearranged game and it says. . . . . "Please note that entry for this game will be by Match Abandoned Voucher only, pay at the turnstiles or by tickets purchased at the ticket office." Doesn't mention season tickets holders who were advised NOT to collect a match abandoned voucher. I know it'll just be a minor oversight, but with mfc . . . . . . .

Did someone not mention in a thread a while back that there were actually underlying fabric or structural issues in 3 stands? There doesn't appear to be any other realistic option to moving and as luck would have it we have to deal with the chocolate fireplace of local authorities.
