As a club we're ultra keen to roll over and have our belly's tickled 4 times a season by the OF (financial armaggeddon otherwise, viewers) then we need to be aiming for capacity of between 10K and 15K - so that although we're getting pumped - wereat least bringing in the cash. There's no point in saying we need OF @ home paydays (and we can't afford poor Rainjurs to go bust) - then having a capacity below what they generally generate.

I intend to renew as well although I can see a stitch up with the bears really pissing me off. That's (our own boards stance) the only potential fly in the ointment.

Jamie Murphy - How Much Would You Accept For Him?
Steve Diggle replied to David's topic in Club Chat
Personally think Jamie still needs to iron out a couple of problems that have crept into his game. He'll come good again though - he's a good lad. -

I hope Gahagan scores another belter. Last trip to EEP was the Malpas debacle - ooft -
Any new stadium would also have safe standing. It's part design. You need closed in corners and 4 stands. Not NDP or NSMP but definitely Almondvale or Parc y Scarlets. And part whatever atmosphere the people bring.

I don't think you're getting my point. No one is mentioning right now. First off. I'd love us to stay at Fir Park but the cost of staying affects our ability to put a team on the park. No one is saying we should move until the property market improves end there's no chance of us even thinking about moving until we can get decent money for the current site.

Because we're diverting huge sums each year on maintenance. It's been done to death Staying at FP would be great, but . . . . .

Mibbez what you meant to say was - I'll feed that back to the guys that run it. When you were on air at the St Mirren game there was some chat on the shoutbox (and possibly the match thread) indicating that a couple of folk were on and quite a few weren't getting logged in. I eventually got logged in 5 mins into the second half. I can (or could) log in anwhere using my email and password thats shootie in. But what loads of folk get on match days is an error message saying unable to connect, server busy or whatever. It's not an auld fuds canny type problem it's a too many folk logged on at the wan time problem. Maybe its best to iron out the glitches before the content is upgraded too

The commentary is good Kris - you and Barnstormer do a good job. It's just a complete pain in the hole to log on to tho. End up listening to BBC until i can get you guys and that's usually into the second half.

Have given up on it until the match commentary feature becomes more readily accessible on a match day

With all this over confidence it's only heading one way. -
It would be good to open it up to whatever anyone could afford. But using the annual player sponsorship model - each unit of £25 gets you a ticket for the raffle for each of the features of the membership.. So if ye can afford £50 - two shots at the raffle if ye can afford £25 - one shot if you can afford £80 - it's 3 tickets for the raffle and thanks for the extra fiver. The main thing is it's raising funds for the club via the Society in a way that allows folk that are behind the concept but dont have the means for full membership now - to chip in what they can

Great idea Andy.

Didny really expect anything different from CelticTV

Quite a poor response anyway - so probably best left at that rite enuff Pots and kettles spring to mind right enuff

No its not. It's fine for this thread I never said I hated the union flag. What I probably said is that I think theres a place for it - one of which isn't in the middle of a Motherwell support as an ill thought out inflamatory gesture as it reflects on the rest of the support who are a pretty mixed bunch. I personally loathe both of the old firm and think that the tit for tat unionist / republican pish is best left to them and their other despicable mates. Why do you think it's admirable?
-
Very good point! You seem to be learning. Doesn't matter whos there - being a tit is being a tit!

I'm sure a cuppla fannies heros taking that UJ in would have sent shock waves through the stadium, The guy that made '300' is looking to make a film of it. Well done to those guys - really showed them.

The people that run the game in this country should watch stuff like that and hang their head in shame. Away supports add so much to the atmosphere. I believe if the costing and particularly strewarding were right we found recover that a bit. Full body cavity search prior to entry. Some hi vis neanderthal growling at you the second you lift a buttock off yer seat? Pay £26 for the pleasure? Sorry, Ram it! It's an insult to folks decency & intelligence. Anyway - great great days in those clips. Thanks to the folks posting them

Tremendous stuff col, thanks. The cobra - wit a man Jamie Dolan! What can you say.

This is the worst Celtic team in a generation - well never have a better chance of tannin the bastds
