  1. I'd punt McCall. He obviously knows hee haw and he needs SteelmenOnline to tell him how to play at home, how to line the team up in attack and to sign wee pyjamas on a decent deal - Clueless! The man's a fud

That makes him no different to the rest of them. Henrik has no additional hurdles to jump compared to any of the rest of the players on the books
  3. Need to hire Jamie a turkey farmer. We really need to fatten the dude up
  4. I'll be doon this week with ma forms filled in. Cmon the Well I think we'll pull this off - in a surprisingly positive fashion
  5. So they hit everybody in the database with one copy off the print run. Honestly some c***s moan at anything.
  6. It's a bold initiave and one we should support if we can. The timing of the FSA approval is horrible for the club - a good couple of months prior to Christmas would have been way better than the turn of the year. Where people families have made financial outlays and are trying to get on their feet again. So not everyone is gonna be in the position to commit. I still think too many folk think 300 nicker is gonna get them a seat on the board.
  7. I hope he gets through the window and hits a bit of form to ensure a better move in the summer. Hope he gets a couple of chipsteak suppers into himself in celebration.
  8. Obviously anyone coming in would have to be funded in some way by someone going out. because we don't have the funds to pay who we actually do have at present

Like I say a decent days wage for a decent days graft. If he's gonna be in the first team squad from now til May - pay him what he deserves.
  11. The reason some folk come to the fitba is to take a week of henpecking out on some poor wee fitba player. It's one of the few enjoyments they have in life - the bullied becoming the bully. No ammount of reasoning will ever change it. Some folk just enjoy the opportunity of being abusive

Ye canny have enough fringe players - the more the merrier. need to watch though if you don't do yer quality control someone could come along and ruin things by scoring SPL goals in the first team.

Can we wait and see if he meets his targets but? That would be good - lets pay a guy peanuts and set him targets that fully paid players don't have. Aye let's see how that pans out first before he goes to Dundee Utd and we decide he was worth it.

My arse It's pay up or shut up time The meltdown on here, would be funny as fuck if someone came in and offered him a wage he could live on.

While we all need to remember that it's early days and the wee fella is playing for his future, he's been absolutely immense and like a few have said he's really in the Skippy mould. Whenever he gets the ball it looks as if he's thinking "how quick can I get this in the net" - superb. I'd like to see us speaking to him too and sorting out the length of his deal. That would be great. I'd also take it a step further. Interviews with McCall (and i heard the BBC one with my own lugs) suggest he's on a very very poor deal currently indeed - "playing for his bus fare" was the exact quote. Now I really hope that its not quite as bad as that and that if it is we can fix this quickly. While there might be exceptional short term cases where this type of deal could apply - I'm a firm believer in an honest days pay for an honest days work - and if this wee guy is getting any less than some of the guys round about him for any of the rest of his time here (even if it is til the end of the season) then there's something unjust about that. We've been through administration and I know every penny is a prisoner - I'm not advocating that we should change any of that - but over the past few seasons there have been a couple of reports of players NOT being paid a full wage - for essentially the same work as everyone else around them then it's needing addressed. We might be on a low budget - but by the same token - we can't kick the arse out it.
  16. Aye, that was some real witty tough talk I came out with
  17. That's self explanatory Poor Chris I hope to fuck he's taking out a restraining order Your one track mind needs some attention
  18. Harsh words from a fellow well fan at work "I knew we were in with a shout as soon as they went down to 11 men"

Aye on BBC pre-match McCall says he was desperate for a deal and all we could offer him was his bus fare. Time for a couple of meetings in the corridors of power
