  1. Jenno getting a goal will be a miracle. All over the news probably
  2. Every player is given a job by McCall and they're sent out to do that job. How they do from there on in is down to them. Jamie Murphy should be measured on what he does when he has the ball - and he sees plenty of it. We can't blame Law and Higdon just because 'one of our own' has lost their way a wee bit. Jamie will get himself back in amongst it and that will be down to him and McCall. Not those big bad incomers Law and Higdon.
  3. When has he ever filled in for Hammell? Seriously?
  4. Jamie Murphy's position has nothing to do with Michael Higdon Law is behind Davis and Templeton and equal with Stokes on SPL assists - I'd imagine that's what he's been told to do. I think there are good points in there steelboy - but I cant understand the terms you go on about our players - our top scorer and our top 'assister' Right now the person that's doing the most devaluing of Jamie Murphy - much as I love the guy - is Jamie Murphy
  5. Sounds like the Hearts chat all over again. I love it when we get cocky Usually works Not
  6. How do you solve a problem like Jamie? Murphy has suffered from a few seasons fucking about between managers and I genuinely now think that no-one (including him) actually knows what his best position is. Even in times when he looks as if he's been instructed to go out and play through the middle he seems to drift wide and / or deep far too easily. If pushed I'd be inclined to say wide left unfortunately - as he'd be far more effective and valuable to us if he had developed into an out and out centre forward. Drop Law before him - absolutely no way. Law creates much more across an entire 90 mins. Recently Jamie has only being showing wee flashes her and there. Another problem that I think needs addressed is his physique, and I know sometimes it's really difficult for some guys to do. But for him to move to the Championship or lower level EPL I think he need to bulk up a wee bit. I'd imagine someone's looking at that right now - they must be, musnt they? I mean how do the EPL guys bulk up their whippets. Like we've spoken about on many occasions - we need to breadthen the experience in our squad and I think Jamie would benefit from McHugh being allowed to burden himself with some of the pressure of getting our goals. I think Jamie is in a bit of a trough form wise - doing a bit of a Clarkson and he's needing a bit of assistance from the management to get himself through it and get his confidence levels - for the benefit of himself - and the team. Oh and can I add - I think he need to be more positive with his runs. The amount of times that he's been uncertain and checked back to miss out on a forward pass has been un-be-lieva-ble.
  7. Safe standing will not allow any extra to be squeezed in. It's still technically 'a seat'
  8. This is one of those threads that we'll need to bookmark for next year when half the punters on here will be wantin his wee ginger mulleted heid on a stick,
  9. It's unbolt the old seats, bolt in the new ones. It's not an infrastructure change. We won't be hiring cranes and lifting equipment. In fact you could probably do it over the weekend with a swiss army knife. Hopefully as its an SPL trial there might be funding help for those clubs that want to swap one seat type for another. The safe standing seats look as if they're off the shelf and have a similar footprint to the seating we currently have.
  10. Like Romanov, have you forgotten about wages?
  11. They're falling to bits and that at times can be quite dangerous. For instance Stevenson's walkout could open the door for Sutton or someone else looking to impress onlookers. Fuckin pish, what's happening to their players.
  12. Was Colin O'Neill not the first ever to be done by video? 5 games wasn't it? Still a tremendous video to watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vp1RIzNdUfo
  13. With Eggybread Jonsson joining Wolves - I wonder if he'll be playing
  14. They'd just have to move. It's the east stand, no Donald Trump's golf course.
  15. It's an incentive (albeit a small one) to buy your ticket up front and boost the gate. Tyncastle is, in my opinion, the best away venue in the league. I'd gladly have that pigsty (minus the main stand) lifted, disinfected, dipped in domestos, scrubbed, disinfected again and plopped on Knowtop Ave as a replacemant for the creaking ark. Great venue
  16. Does anybody have any of the crush rails in their back garden? Club might need them back
  17. Are we looking for all 7 East Stand sections to be ripped oot or just the 1 or 2 at the deep end
