  1. Fair enuff ya big wummin Hope your currently safe wrapped up in your cotton wool away from the big bad world. How would you cope if you lived in somewhere like Shotts where its icy 12 months of the year
  2. The place was fuckin fine today. The streets were like how they always are at this time of year and as Finlay says things have been a lot worse. It's winter But There were no issues today
  3. It was Andy P that was pointing you in the right direction - I was most definitely trying to be sarcastic. I was definitely at the game. Travelling in from a neighbouring county. I can assure you that pavements freeze, are treated and re-freeze in that county too. It's a common phenomenon in the winter. You've sometimes gotta change out of your Converse. When folk slip in the winter its sometimes down to the nasty weather - no the council.
  4. Aye. Kinda joked around the point that he wanted the media to stop talking about our players. But 'no activity planned' - in or out was the message
  5. McCall confirms on BBC radio that there will be no activity in the window
  6. It's called winter. The council's job isn't to turn it to summer. Streets all over Scotland are the same.
  7. Stuff like this just jinxs us though. If we had to choose a human condition to describe MFC, premature ejaculation would be near the top
  8. Chris has put a shift in since signing for us and regardless of how we as supporters perceive him he's worked hard to improve his game. He's also first to acknowledge the fans regardless of the result or the fans reaction to said result. Having seen some fuckin charlatans in c&a over the years. I think that IF he moves on he moves on with our best wishes regarded of the fee. Frustrating at times, aye. But deserving of a bit of recognition for his contribution.
  9. "Theirs is a can-do attitude that begins with the supporters"
  10. Not at all. That would explain a few things It's known in the trade as the Jamie Murphy syndrome
  11. St Johnstone midfielder Liam Craig says the Perth side have third-placed Motherwell in their sights. (Various)
  12. Given the way events have unfolded How does one reckon the club should handle the rearranged game? Free entry? Voucher only? Voucher, ST & Pay at the gate? Voucher, ST & a limited number od additional prepay tickets? Could end up a mess. I've got a ST and got a mate in with a free ticket on Friday and say hypothetically we walked out with 4 vouchers and the aforementioned ST So potentially that's five folk I can get in to the rearranged game for fuck all just because i took advantage of the bring a chum deal. Multiply that and yer talkin a bit of a squash

If Pink Floyd were coming to Fir Park I'd burn ma season book and start supporting Airdrie. Like I say - I reckoned in the past that it wouldn't be that expensive - but one of the guys who used to post on here who seemed to be in that game reckoned it would be pretty expensive to replace particularly the cabling. I'm no expert, so I don't know to be honest I think I'm right in saying tho that the system we are talking about here was upgraded in the past year. Aye I know I can't believe it either.
  14. Hark at Billy Big Baws Your probably right - we'll turn up and get in without a problem with our STs. I think the club will have a wee headache for the rearranged game - Because in reality if we've got 2K season books and 7K vouchers we're potentially talking 9K tickets accounted for afore a blow is struck On you're other point - You're right, the club should have planned ahead and had the ticket distributors in place halfway through the first half. Probably a good 20mins before the fire if we're being realistic. Folk need to remember its Motherwell FC (on a shoestring budget) no' the fuckin Microsoft Corporation we're talking about here.

I used to think that until in one of the numerous discussions we had on this - I think it was Niall that pointed out - a change to the system would need new cabling etc - and it would be a significant cost. The club have spent money on repairing what they have but the improvement has been minimal. I agree it's a poor system - I just don't see the club spending money on it unless they have to
  16. At home we're needing a 'creative' 'central' midfielder to thread passes through.
