Because the cost would probably run into six figures and what we have must pass requirements.

Putting a team on the park should be top of our priorities list. It's been well publicised that the stadium is on it's last legs on a number of fronts and without selling the ground on which we stand we've no chance of generating the funds for new facilities - and that unfortunately means a move away as a consequence. I'd love for us to stay - but I'm realistic enough to know that without a benefactor - we're moving. Until that day the board will spend where they need to spend to maintain safety certificates etc and every pound of that detracts from our core reason for being here of the football side of the business. Aye the place is falling to bits - but hey what do ya do?

Bottom line everyone 'should' have had a voucher and should get in no argument. It's gonna be a huge financial hit anyway But if every season ticket holder gets in using their book again - they can then give their voucher away for nowt (some might say fair enough) which then inflates again the ammount of free tickets in circulation. Its catch 22 granted and I'm not saying that the distribution of tickets was perfect - some got none, some got one, some got a couple. And I'm all for folk getting in for nowt or reduced prices. But like I say the club are going to be stung by staging two games with drastically reduced income. I'm just playing devils advocate saying that entry to game potentially should be - by voucher, PATG, or voucher 9 (because you are a ST holder that didn't make it first time)

Will Killie and Saints not have wee dips like?

Were were you last night caller?

You talk shite all the time tho

I posted a few posts back a suggestion for a Plan B I don't have a perfect 11 - that's a Stuart McCall concept I have ideas that change based on form, injuries etc. Humphrey SHOULD be in our top 11 as he can be capable of giving us something - however right now he needs to give his track suit a bit of a try out - based on a sustaine spell of poor form and a shocker last night IMO But I'm no expert
-
I've never criticized Humphrey However your constant drivel (which I've also never commented on, until now) is fucking incredible - and not in a good way Give it a fuckin rest. Comments on games, tactics, tickets, politics, cookery, independence etc DON'T revolve around Chris Fuckin Humphrey
-
At home Drop Humphrey Play Law on the right Murphy on the shoulder of (or at least closer) to Higdon and Forbes behind the front two Look for the creative pass through the centre as it isnt coming from wide areas EDIT: I'd actually try McHugh off Higdon

Sometimes you talk utter fucking shite mate
-
The club would be well within their right to ask for voucher 9 again though
-
Its probably fair to say that FNF will cost the club a pretty penny

You're missing the point in the posts you are perceiving as 'negative'. All folk are saying is that they would have expected something different given the situation. Something more along the Cooper tribute in Hamilton perhaps. That, when you think about it isn't necessarily 'negative'. Most when provided with a bit more information about the context of its design have conceded that as Phil's family have been involved then that's more important - and it is. Negative? - to be honest I found one of the 'positive' posts the most unbefitting of the thread. I'm gonna bow out the thread now as Phil and his memory are too important for this to continue. So, well done to the trust. Here's to Phil O'Donnell

I believe that folk have a more conventionional notion of a memorial pw2 Folk are entitled to their opinion as are you. Doesn't make them (or you) a wanker Phil (who or what is 'POD' ?) meant a lot to us all - so we're all entitled to a point of view.
-
Just watched Kirkie talking about the memorial and Phil and he too seemed quite pleased. And its important that the family are happy too. I was hoping for something a bit grander after a higher profile fundraising campaign. However it's there and the sentiment can't be downplayed as well as the achievement of raising the funds and bringing it to fruition - something that fails to happen all too often. So that needs to be acknowledged.

Looks extremely unbefitting to me. Sorry

Shellick fans can combin their trip wae´visitin´their da´

To be fair - I read the post and though I had reached the end about 6 times - only to find as I slowly scrolled down that there was more to get through. A bit like the end of a Coldplay concert

Interesting point. The SAC post deserved and got a pasting. Our heritage is steel & steelworkers, how that translates to edgy iron man super heros - Like others, I fail to connect with. The MST post - had a very important piece of information enveloped in a tit for tat attack on the other group. Deserved and got a pasting. We've had some really good debates on here about initiatives that would and would not work from a good cross section of the support. And by the way it's a disgrace that the People's Front of Judea haven't been included.

It would be Wark for me mate
