  1. Andy McInnes in The Express I was gonna pick holes in this shite but theres no fuckin point The final sentence is a brammer tho - finest piece of perceptive journalism I've prolly ever read. PS - If Lennon was actually here on Saturday - why would he have to have Murphy watched???
  2. Heaven forbid we get young folk comin to the fitba
  3. I wonder how appealling that is for him and his young family. When you hear stuff like that you immediately think that it isn't a good place to be living. Who knows he might be earning bucket loads and living like a king - however i doubt that very much. Apparently a decent guy (well so all around him at FP say every time someone has a wee go at him in one of these threads) However for me the fact remains - he came out with some amount of shite (about playing for the team that splits the old firm etc) before leaving here for . . . . . Brighton. I never ever thought he was a good keeper and like many before him and since - would have been far better advised to stay at the well and develop his game. Glad he left though - we've been i good shape between the sticks ever since.
  4. They are indeed - fuckin brilliant yesterday
  5. Once you're logged in - look up near the top right corner and hit 'view new content' - it shows you what's been discussed since you last logged in
  6. That's smashin - comin from the official spokesperson for the SteelmenOnline Knuckle Dragger & Tourettes Party 1h 18mins
  7. Anybody know where his agent lives?
  8. I'm optimistic. I think if we get service to Humphrey and Law we can do a job. Higdon will hopefully pull their defence around and leave some gaps for Murphy or Law to exploit.
  9. That's a shame for yeez. Sill you've got Humphrey & Higdon - you'll be fine
  10. The midfielder is apparently called Derrique Antona and the striker is Gerrard Henri
  11. If you don't mind getting a read one milo I'll send you mine out. PM your address mate.
  12. Some great snaps in there. Cheers
  13. I think we are a few steps away from this to be honest. I think Mr Weir and the other dude(in my very humble opinion) have some serious work to do. In fronting such a campaign these guys need to come forward and give us a bit more of who they are and what they are about. Up til now we know that Weir was on the committee that recommended a 10 team league, yesterday he was elected onto the SPL board and his financial credentials will ensure that McCall will need about 50 signatures to get anything above a te4nner out of the petty cash. Someone like Boyle fronting this - making noises about being the 3rd force, tackling all of scottish footballs ills etc - I believe would have folk rolling forward with more enthusiasm. What I think I'm saying is that we need the new encumbment to start engaging with the supporters a bit more - maybe with the same enthusiasm that they are tackling climbing the SPL office bearer tree. I for one think that this is an opportunity and I'm probably / possibly in a position to sign up if it's a decent initiative. All I'm saying is that although it's early doors our new board look more Fred Goodwin than Johnny Boyle and that might not rally the troops. Time for these guys to do a proper introduction and generate a bit of a relationship with the support.
  14. If we signed that c**t I'd shite in ma season book and mail it back to FP
  15. I see where you're coming from Johnstone - very valid points indeed. Something needs to break the mould / arrest the decline etc etc and initiatives like this might be a positive way forward. However, it would be good to see some chinks of light at club or SPL level whereby those in control are actually serious about acting on the paying spectators concerns befor anybody ever parts with a brown penny. So if for instance moves were taken to stop fucking about with kick off times, pandering to TV schedules, looking at admission prices and easing off on killjoy stewarding then folk might be a bit more positive about where this whole mess is going.
  16. I think community ownership would need to be defined by the club at the time of launch. It will be a major minefield for them cconsidering folk already think their due a seat on the board when they buy a season ticket. I think they need to define how the club will 'consult' with 'members' on the major issues. So they'll need to set up a framework where views, opinions or votes can be gathered probably on major strategic decisions. I'd imagine the board will still have overall control and would be able to take decisions in the same way that they currently do. (although going against popular opinion might put paid to a few subscriptions). day to day running of the club and the way that the sleeves hang on the new home shirt will still be just taken by management on a day to day basis I imagine
  17. Don't think we'd be able to attract someone on that level. Nice thought though! Please God No!!!!!
  18. Yep, sorry MJ that's right. But since the reveal and the launch with that opportunity being missed - there were no plans to wear it in the current season - that's what I was getting at.
  19. Aye there was only 5 post match references to Forbes before I posted about him. Then there was some civilised comments about him between myself sieb and steelboy then there was . . . . . . so if that's the truth then that's the truth As the Manic Street Preachers say - "This is my Truth Tell Me Yours"
  20. Aye its a big deliberate conspiracy to fleece us all of our cash and make millions from us. Quick question to you tho - all kidding aside. Have you seen the 1st team wearing the new kit yet? Perhaps, maybe perhaps we're behind schedule and even the first team don't have them to wear. They've played in training gear twice and in the 125th kit once (which was never meant to happen)
  21. I wish for once I posted my shite first. If you catch my drift
  22. Looking forward to a good game David. Butcher will have them up for it and it'll be interesting to see how Law copes in a more physical encounter. I'm positive about what I've seen in the friendlies - but theres always that unknown of how well they'll step up to the brutal environment of the SP (anti football) L
  23. If it saves their kids or wives getting a slap then I suppose that's a positive. Knuckle dragging c***s should fuck off and watch one of the OF.
