  1. Right we're aw experts and we know exactly how next season is gonna pan out already right? Overtures already made in the market. Recruitment successes & failures. Confirmed departures. Confirmed arrivals. So what's your 1-12? I think surprisingly - St Mirren wont be as rank, neither will Hibs. ICT will consolidate Utd, Killie, St Johnstone will be a lot poorer Aberdeen will tread water and Broon will get the heave Hearts wont collect as many points and as such - the gap between the gruesome twosome and the rest will be even bigger. We'll manage Europe as McCall will do well in the remainder of the window and btw I've just swapped St J with Dunfermline in the trap door slot - with the boring fermers going doon 1 Rangers 2 Celtic 3 Hearts 4 Motherwell 5 Hibs 6 Inverness 7 Dundee Utd 8 St. Mirren 9 Aberdeen 10 Killie 11 Dunfermline 12 St. Johnstone
  2. Brian McClair - Motherwell, Celtic, Man U Motherwell - rampaging fucking failure. Oh holy fuck what a return that was.
  3. To be fair it was an argument of football viewpoints which is not uncommon. However some of Al's comments were a bit on the unnecessary side at the end up.
  4. Just read a report there (Yorkshire Post I think) that said Rotherham made Law and another dude a very good offer but had expected him to refuse & go and had already received some League 2 interest that included an 'offer'. Dunno if that was a compo offer as he's under 24 and potentially moving between two english clubs or a bona fide transfer offer. Maybe it will be another cross border lightening strike for a freebie for us.
  5. Thanks SH - think he was linked with us in the January window as well if I mind right
  6. Sounds like the manager hopes to have some new faces soon. Jee soh man. Exciting or whit?
  7. Guys commit a crime, get a sentence, serve the sentence and attempt to integrate back into the community. None of us can do anything about the length of his sentence or the discount on the tarrif or anything like that - even though we all have a view on it. Question is do we want these people to be involved in a programme that helps re-integrate them into the community in an attempt to have them learn the error of their ways or should we keep them as lepers on the fringes - increasing their likelihood of re-offending. Again we can all have views on the effectiveness of these programmes and the buy in that the offenders give. It just depend on whether you believe in continuing to punish an offender for the rest of their life or offering them the opportunity to make a fresh start in the community. What's the alternative to re-integration programmes? The guys are coming to the end of their time and there's not a thing anyone can do about that. Is it not just the way it works all over the land?
  8. No, the thing is I'm sure there are loads of folk that know exactly what went down wrt contracts and cash but don't go all 'nudge nudge, wink wink - I know something you don't know' about it.
  9. What the actual fuck are you on about 'Quentin?' Surely you'd have been better just picking the phone up to 'Peter' rather than this anarchic messageboard thingmy. Failing that, explain where people are getting the wrong end of the stick please?
  10. That's almost 100% wrong Al. There are less professionals now than at any time in the past. Numbers have been reducing year on year. There's an argumebt there in terms of quality although I don't buy that entirely either however in terms of numbers you're just plain old incorrect. We done away with a reserve league so that teams could reduce numbers
  11. Maybe it's because they're interested in one of our players and need to build bridges before approaching the club.
  12. All joking aside, somebody should be in place now. This is when all the major stuff is done.
  13. Looks like he's got a Dexy's Midnight Runners bunnet on as well
  14. Hearing similar stories from Spain about Juan Kerr and Austria about Jacque Haass
  15. Niall McGinn wants to go on loan. We could develop him for them
  16. Major Security Alert! FFS it was the Masters
  17. No thanks, we're nowhere near as witty as yourself. Murmur. What a better.
