Randolph Hately Biffa Bacon Page Gunning Sutton Jenno Jones Humphers Jeffers Murphy I'd play Sutters just in front of the back four

The treatment of Joe Wark and Wullie Pettigrew swung it for me. Not that I'm bitter or hold a grudge. If they had given the guys in C&A the breaks through the years i'd be more open to being unequivocal in my support for the national set up - but they don't give a flying fuck about the well - so I'm afraid I don't give a fuck about them these days.
-
Agreed. I'd rather let them stand - and for us to match them. It would actually be too much pain to take the cretins on. (unless we hose the fuckers with a water canon) They always find a way to intimidate us in our own stadium(s) - They always have - That's what they do! We discussed (on the forum) before the fact that we used to be severely overrun at FP - because there was nowhere for well fans to stand - we just gave them the whole stadium. it used to be a real hairy experience watching us vs the OF at Fir Park Via the fanzines in the late 80s we challenged Motherwell to allocate a bigger and bigger area for well fans and our support for these games the club took it on board and responded by allocating an area and promoting the fact and the turn-out grew and grew until we had a right good home support for these games. Things have eroded somewhat with the advent of 'Old Firm Away Day TV' & we scored a spectacular own goal with the Cooper handover a few years back and it's continued to be downhill ever since. The time has come for positive action to take these scumbags on again. We can't be beat before the game kicks off. As a club, As fans we really need to do something
-
Just thinking back to the last Rangers game at Fir Park. They stood to a man - we all sat (bar the usual guys in the south east) As a club we were beaten before the ref blew for the match to start. Not one official challenged any of them to sit - and every single one of them stood for the 90. I suppose it's like this for all OF games though
-
I'd put a message out urging all well fans in all stands to stand up for the 90 mins of home matches.
-
Definitely the well Scotland can bite my shite

Thanks Leeann

Watched Wee Stu's interview on the news channels tonight - anybody know what type of cover was on the pitch - and why it would be covered on a relatively sunny day. Frost protection? or Propogation?
-
In return for free access to the upper tier chill out stands on summer nights to gaze at the stars. i'd ask the cannabis growing population of North Lanarkshire to consider lending some of their 'cosmic cultivation lamps' to help grow the pitch. i'm pretty sure we could get a couple of technical wizards on here to wire them up and create a mechanised lightweigh waterproof rig - it might even be an option to let the guys in on the winter nights too to watch the lights spin around in the fog - kinda chill-out / security combined. I'm sure a generous neighbour on Fir park street would let them plug in their ghetto blaster so that they can belt out their Hawkwind CDs (and at the same time we could piggy back the plug for aforementioned lights) Failing the mechanised waterproof lightweight light rig coming together - we could always weld them to the back of the tractor that the current ground staff pummel the surface with. It looks as though we'd be on there 24/7 anyway given recent evidence. I'd like to see us moving around more at throw ins and being less honest in the penalty box

You really meant Hampden though didn't ya? Freudian slip?
-
Does he make battenburg cakes? 4 goals in 11 games is no bad (betwen 56 and 58). If Fanny Jitters does that we'll be chuffed
-
Aye mibbez some *friendlies* His brothers 'Curly' and 'Frizzy' were decent players as well. They used to hang around 'the shed'
-
Don't remember him but neil brown's site has him down for one start in 78/79 season http://www.neilbrown.newcastlefans.com/mot.../motherwell.htm

But then again we canny have Humphrey out for 6 weeks wi joggers nipple!
-
Depends on the transport options and the admission price. MFC have been generous in these type of situations in the past and Utd have been beneficiaries of our generosity. So between the two clubs we could come up with a decent gate price. The money we save at the gate could go to a SKY TV is Killing Football banner. (That'll look right good as I kick back on the couch and open a tinny)
-
Succinctly and tastefully put may I say
-
Good luck Franny! The article is well written and kinda makes the point I was making earlier - In the right circumstances he can turn this round and have a wee Indian Summer. i wish him all the very best in C&A. Hope it works out just fine
-
Embdy know when Fanny Jitters is expected to say yay or nay?
-
Hi-Viz Yella was the best!

I think if we got the colour absolutely spot on the reaction would be hilarious. R*****s Fans "Showin yer true colour noo wi a green shirt" C****c Fans "Showin yer true colour noo wi a blue shirt"
-
petrol blue 1.(UK) a greyish blue colour, tinted with green. There's a lot of merit in doffing the cap to the men and women who set our club on it's way back in 1886. We should be able to unashamedly use a petrol blue shirt for some of our 125th season if that's what comes to pass. I'm all for it.

A replay would ensure a 7th meeting of the season. I'm going for that. Bursting the fuckin bubble full stop (never mind the scottish cup)
-
Yeah. A professional football club attempting to prepare professionally for a game in a hotel where they probably got a good deal out of golf season is something we should be digging them up about. Next you'll be saying we played pish cos the caviar was off and we should have hired a fleet of moved and went by pedallo to the Europa games. You're getting infantile replies due to an infantile opening post
-
More than they would have if we'd been papped out.
