  1. Anybody bar DundeeUfickinIted - I'm absolutely sick o the sight of them fuckers
  2. Football of course is played on paper (or in cyberspace)
  3. Need to be more careful the way you're laying your posts out then. The whole thing looked like a schoolteacher marking up a piece of homework.
  4. You really haven't read / or don't recall many threads or posts where I've talked about Fitzy then? That's OK tho
  5. I know nothing and I'm not guessing at anything either - all I meant by 'playing the Reynolds game' is that we're watching the clock run down at thae same rate as the potential transfer fee. Soon both will be at zero. That's all - no packdrill whatsoever
  6. and end up playing the Reynolds game? The moving on will be ASAP.
  7. I thought Cragg's comments on Sportscene last night were 'interesting' wrt Murphy and shop windows. Wonder if the club might be looking to actively move Jamie on for cash at some point soon. right son get oot there and play a blinder . . . etc
  8. I don't think you'll find anyone saying, in the whole thread, that anything he said was wrong
  9. As for the contentious pass issue. Hammell should have made the run Fitzy should not have made the pass. A kinda 50/50 thing really
  10. can only echo whats been said. Priority to deal big Sutton in before he makes a move. Get Fitzy signed for 18 months. Much as I liked Blackman - I think the best option would be to find someone else with any wages freed up with him and Gowser moving on. Disappointed that Gow didn't work out - but hey ho!
  11. Without wishing to open old wound from previous threads. The formation and line-up on saturday was refreshing and productive. A fair bit more clinical looking up-front. A bit men against boys at times and that was brilliant to see. Thing is though that line up / approach / formation has been available at the club for some time under some of the previous managers and interim managers who knew (or know) the playing squad and what we have available to us far more than Stuart McCall does. I hope it's the catalyst to add some players to supplement a great core squad with some great young players coming through.
  12. Everybody knows about John Boyle's contribution & no-one's really saying what he said was wrong. We're discussing what he said on the telly today apparently. Can't remember the last time I seen him on the telly when he wasn't ranting like a loony though.
  13. What he says is bang on and it's great to hear it coming from a Motherwell chairman. However it will be very easily deflated by anyone citing 'sour grapes' when he goes on and has a 'rant' about it. John Boyle has many opportunities to spout forth about scottish football. He can at anytime stick an interview on the club website before any of this comes to pass laying out exactly where he stands. See if it was a constant message - something that he says all the time in the media then he's got weight behind his argument. Like a say the very same with the lost gate at the split last year - after 3 or 4 clubs previously experienced the same thing in preceding years. To only spout forth when we're affected - then that's just tough shit. I don't think anybody needs to get a grip - we're just having a view about it on a daft website.
  14. You know what - I'd rather see John's rants better timed to be honest. He looks like a bit of a dick when he reacts to events as and when they arise. Lets have the boot put in in the run up / debating / discussion to these events John. Lets hear it then - not after we've had these proposals - that Motherwell played a part in ar announced. It looks like sour grapes from an unhinged individual Like last years rant about lack of a home OF gate post split - get into it in the previous years when other teams are being affected - don't wait until it only affects us.
  15. That's a fair point. They crashed headlong into this without any serious consultation with paying fans and season ticket holders across the land. The proposal from the committee lacked any imagination, long term view or bigger picture perspective. All they wanted to do was propose the most lucrative format based on what Sky/ESPN would pay. TV has become the pivotal component and the evidence of Joe's meeting backs this up. This pause for reflection should be to redress some of the points above. Our involvement in this is shameful - The board should be ashamed of themselves.
  16. Great effort to get the pitch playable. They (Dundee and their fans) are definitely well up for this one. Our challenge is to be even close to that. It's gonna be a tough game. Hopefully McCall can rally the troops.
  17. Airdrie games are usually eventful at least (inside and outside the ground) - unlike the pansies from the south
