  1. Oh aye as ye know I'm well up for that - it's the only way to be honest. C'mon the well!
  2. Who said chairmen are shortsighted? So the chairman of the team most likely to go down is in favour of the set up that will give him more money when the inevitable happens. And complains that teams that were, in the main, not on the working committee don't have an alternative proposal. Well for one - they weren't on a working committee charged with looking at providing working options, for two they shouldn't just accept any old shite - if it is in fact SHIITE. I hope they go under - fallacy of a football club Bring back Airdrie
  3. A few papers stating deal is up this week and he's for the off - hints are that he's decided himself - but who knows the actual situation. loads of ifs, buts and innuendo flyin around and as yet nothing confirmed on anything. HOWEVER this is beginning to have the feel of the end of the McGhee era. i.e. we're gonna be back to the bare bones. On the down side - in fact on the major down side - it's mid season and we've hee haw cash
  4. I'm not looking for clean sheet after clean sheet. Let's get us playing some decent football and scoring more than we lose while our players develop. You need to crack a cuppla eggs to make an omelette
  5. The obsession with satisfying the TV companies and the desperate begging for their money is pathetic to watch. The fact that we have gotten ourself to this place is totally disgraceful. Armchair fan(nies) are more important than the thick eejits that manage to get their arse to the games. The options on the table right now appear to be 'firing squad or lethal injection' Heaven forbid someone asks the people who watch the game on the telly for more money as opposed to the paying punter. The whole thing is upside fuckin down lets kill the game for the benefit of armchair Old Firm fans
  6. Need to wait til payday mate but I'm in. All the very best with it
  7. Excellent stuff Joe thanks. All of it really interesting and giving an insight into what's going on. I think its far to say that clubs (including ours) and the SPL administrators have been stung / taken aback by the reaction On first read through the following statement jumped out the most and kinda sums up up just how vigourously the tail is indeed wagging the dog. And yeah, as always yer man fatcalf's on the money.
  8. alleged well fan alleged journalist serial teaser / tweeter
  9. They're reading the club statement on the website as a distancing. Kinda helps knit a non story about a non story I suppose
  10. Maybe the Hateley to Port Vale rumour is true then
  11. That Scott Burns is beginning to get on my thruppennies
  12. I suppose the bottom line here is that we (Scottish Football) are just at the point we knew was coming. None of the super efficient billy wizz marketing types can identify the killer plan. We are now so severely restricted by our previous greed and bad decision making that we are unable to make a good decision now - because it will be the end. In essence to survive financially we need to kill the game as a spectacle. For the game to flourish we'd need to die financially. Sky will be so proud
  13. Aye O'Brien's a tweet japester coupled with a particular fondness for Gannon.
  14. I'd take 75K no problem Or 50K if they take Craigan as well
  15. Funnily enough the previous statement does not once mention television or TV
  16. Evening Times report looks like a confirmation
  17. May the 3rd Force be with you. To be fair a lot of the guys that sit behind me look like Yoda Anyway - was reading more of Doncaster's scintillating chat and this tickled ma funny bone. Whhhhaaaaat? Sorry Neil can you explain what an alternative proposal would consist of?
  18. I just think we need more big religions
  19. lets hope Blackman is less successful against us than that wee chunt Eric Deloumeaux It's difficult to tell how much his 'departure' will free up i.e. how much of his wages were we paying etc. Still it's a hole that needs to be plugged. Either by one of the youngsters or someone new. That's not too disappointing. over to you Stuart
  20. I think though - if you develop the ideas around that it could eventually take shape. Them numbers were off the top of my thick baldy napper. Just think what hawf of a dozen of us could come up with if they asked us to form a focus group?
  21. Like I said in an earlier post (don't remember if it was this thread or the other) The communication / lack of consultation on this has been criminal. If this was part of the original proposal thay should get shot for not communicating it as part of the package. If it wasn't it'll be viewed rightly or wrongly as a bribe put in place to try and buy off the revolting peasants
