  1. Maybe we should start wearing Petrol Blue & White scarves
  2. FC Alpha Glencairn of Motherwell
  3. Agree weeyin - I'd be good for them to admit they are a plc and not a community club though. False advertising and all that
  4. Quite a scary sentence that. We're due one of them seasons - will probably be the year of the cut
  5. Kris - good point weel made. It's time for the club to explain to us why they made the decision to put this forward as a proposal and back it in today's meeting. There are different views out there - but the consensus on the supporters direct poll, on here and on other forums is that in the main the 4 x per season is a big switch off. So Mr Boyle, Ms Dempster - justify our stance
  6. That photo sums it up in so many ways BB. A total fucking clown of a man - albeit one of 12 clowns
  7. Absolutely unbelievable that this has come to pass. "Yeah! you've told us what you want (even though you've had to tell us, because we didn't have the manners to ask) - but we know better - just keep giving us your money"
  8. That's a fair point BB. We're getting close to a point where I feel we'll eventually have temporary or permanent closures of a stand on safety grounds - due to the legislation. I think by th looks of it we'll eventually have a major repair due to something coming down - particularly in the East. At the end of the day attending football doesn't have to be too luxurious - it's just really an evolution of standing on a grassy slope at the side of a park. But the general expectation that we have facilities particularly with the prices we charge and the competition we have with other pusuits should be of a certain standard and I think pretty much universally most would agree that something needs to be done in our two old stands. We missed the boat by not selling Fir Park prior to the downturn - but there are probably reasons for that among them being the attempt to sell the club as a whole. However I feel that we might suffer badly because of this - when things will recover to a level that we'll get the funds we need from the sale is anyone's guess. I think the long term strategy is pretty vague from the club - I know they've stated the long term aim is a move to Ravenscraig. However there's never been an indication of what that would look like - what's the vision. It's disappointing that we're so far back in terms of where we're going, the communication and any alternatives. Could become a major issue. (well even more major than it is already)
  9. No just the wance either
  10. I must have misread your posts about alleys andbaseball bats and that then. Banter is banter and we all do it (even busta) Just a bit concerned that yours was a bit on the heavy side - lets face it the thoughts must've crossed your mind for you to post.
  11. As you know - I totally agree sieb. I think this would turn us into different proposition altogether
  12. So if anybody posts an opinion here contrary to yours then violence is justified? What's that about Ladywell You're usually up for a debate. I have an opinion differnt to yours - we're debating it on a web forum. What's the problem. Quite happily discuss face to face
  13. He is indeed. We need to move on soon though
  14. I sincerely hope in 2011 you get to the bottom of your 'issues' all the very best mate
  15. hutch, page or saunders - build for the future
  16. Looked like a fair post to me
  17. Given this a body swerve - since my 'bile' was causing a concern and wondering whether I'd have to defend myself in some dark alley at 2 am for my outrageous comments. I never look for a guaranteed points and I'm not moaning that we never won the games - Motherwell will never have a divine right to turn up and walk away with the spoils. However I think that if we can be arsed to travel to Fir Park to pay to see Motherwell then at the very least we deserve some determination to do the best for everyone associated with the club and to put some sweat on the shirt and compete in a football match Compete! that's all The job of any manager of a football team whether that at senior pro or under 19 is to pick, organise, instruct and fire up a team beforehand and if things require changing during the 90 then that as well. If anyone on here thinks that - particularly in the Rangers game that any of that happened satisfactorally and that anyone deserves a round of applause then that's fair enough. Like I say. poor team selection, no motivation, no fight, baffling substitution, total admiration of Rangers, inability to change things. I can't applaud any of that. That's not bile - that's an honest opinion
  18. Aye cut this and send him an e-mail as a testament to my personal negativity on a 100% positive thread
  19. Not so sure that's such a pressing issue now Ian, as a lot are feeling that Nick's very much off the boil. The hope that Blackman and Gow can deliver vs their current wage demands is a significant question for McCall
  20. @ superwell87 I don't know where you were heading but . . . . .
  21. Away and fuckin shite ya fud
  22. Can you not read? No I am not at the wind up. I disagree with your post fundamentally & everything I posted earlier is my own personal view
  23. Surely it will have been a mix of those who applied / those who were approached. McCall needs our support. However those who raise questions over the approach of being deliberately leftfield vs choosing the tried tested shouldn't be discounted. Would Calderwood have been a better appointment than McCall? That's a good and valid question
  24. Seriously? What? Post your view and I'll post mine
  25. Nah - you accused me of being at the wind up
