as i said on a few occasions before - even though i came across as a nice old gentlman basher, these are exactly the same channels that brown came to our club. I heard that the surprise call from JB was complete bollox. my source says brown was put forward as an option to gannon.

What do you propose to do if it transpires that money quite plainly and simply is not there? These decisions if true will be very difficult for anyone at the club to make. Who at the club doesn't know that the youth are our future. It's easy for fans to say we need to splash out a bit more on players. Upgrade the stadium. Advertise. Invest in all sorts of initiatives. But if there's no money to do any of this how the fuck do we magic the money? If the money is not there - then cutbacks have to be made. I take my hat off to the people who keep our club going day in do out. They do a marvellous job given the resources at their disposal.

I thought he dodged the issues completely in the Sportsound interbiew yesterday. No great harm in that but nothing that merits any great amount of praise. It was a 'nothing' interview. Praise from me if he called it like it is and said that they were treacherous auld bastards that let the whole side down. Would do the wee gentlemen no harm to hear over the airwaves that his former captain thinks hes a c**t! both for making an incomprehensible move and for dragging Craigan personally into it with his absolute pish to the media on the Wednesday.

His problems here and at Aberdeen have been caused with him living in Brighton. His next job, for his sake, needs to be on the South Coast of England
