  1. Hard to know how to predict this early(mind you that suggests I know any other time ), not sure how we will approach the game far less Killie.......having said that I hope we hump them then take a big crowd up to Aberdeen and hump them. 4-2 us!
  2. You would think you knew what you were talking about!! Who told you all that stuff?

    Paul Mcgrillen

My thoughts go out to his family.
  4. Aye, heard it on Forth or rather the bit that said "and that leaves the Fir Park side looking for a manager".....now I know it was Aberdeen
  5. Two clean sheets in a row, fantastic. By no means the finished article in defence but I'm not crapping it everytime we concede corners or free kicks in dangerous positions.
  6. Lasley shaded it for me, the guy is fantastic
  7. Joe Wark, Davie Cooper and Dougie Arnott
  8. Any time we played at swinecastle in the late 80's and early 90's. Myself, my two brothers and a couple of lads from Shotts got into the habit of meeting in the go-go bars in Bread St, Bridies in particular. Started off just the five of us but at it's most popular there were as many as 30, a mixture of 'Well fans, a few Jambo mates, pals that didnae even care about football, even some girls that we were friendly with at the time. It used to be rammed in there and without a lie everyone was blootered before 3pm. It was surreal, even had the strippers doing things wi Motherwell scarves! Always missed the start, always got a row off the polis and always had a thumpin sore head by half time, always pissed doon and we always got beat. Ah, fond memories
  9. Not long after he had made his debut we were at Parkhead for a midweek game. We were standing in roughly the same place we now sit. I just remember him surging from our box in front of us to the edge of theirs leaving Paul McStay struggling. Thought to myself then that he looked a player.
  10. He did have a spare, Bob Malcolm was in the car!
  11. Hahahahahaha thats what I was thinking
  12. Ach, who knows, a wee win on Monday night, maybe even a jammy win at that could spark the confidence. Follow it up with a win at Hamilton and a decent signing or two next month and we might all be feeling a bit more positive as the team start to climb. Then again the Killie game could be off.........
  13. Aye, it has been a very tough year for a few of us and a very quick one also. Without knowing how it might effect the players at the time I like the sound of applauding on 78 minutes. Maybe not a full minute, 15 or 30 seconds say?
  14. Just wait for the next pricing initiative................

    Accies game

Glad it's pay at the gate, will just go earlier. Seem to get more trouble when it's all ticket at places like Tynecastle and folk just sit anywhere regardless.
  16. I was listening to On the Ball when McGhee said that they had to drill through the undersoil heating pipes in order to burst the soil that had become rock solid and and was preventing drainage. Judging by the familiar patches on the pitch at the start of the season a new pitch wasn't laid and obviously the USH wouldn't have been replaced or fixed. I'm figuring they took the cheap option and invested in covers or a balloon maybe and it has now come back to bite us on the arse................shock!
  17. Thank Gawd, that other place was doing my head in. Well done on all your hard work.
