  1. Hopefully it provides the confidence to secure our top flight status. Hard to fault a man tonight, but was a very shaky first half where we rode our luck. One moment of genius from Ainsworth changed game completely. Think on tonight Sutton has to start before Erwin. Hes more of a goal threat, especially with Johnson on the wing. But that aside, delighted with win. After first goal was total domination. Moan the 'Well!
  2. Lasley absolutely bosed the midfield, so got my vote. Majority of team have claim to award and its been a while since we've been able to say that.
  3. Just screamed out in joy in a busy pub in Perth. No fucks given!! Get in!!!
  4. Not better than Johnson on left wing though. Think we've been good but heart is in my mouth evertytime the come forward. Very little faith in our defence. Ainsworth should have scored.
  5. Anyone else just shit themselves. Some strike from that wee prick Imrie. Hope he gets sent off!
  6. Good articles. Definitely my first 'Well hero. Met him and got my picture taken with him in the players lounge at Fir Park in the last few weeks of the 90/91 season '91 and vividly remember how brilliant he was with me. Still got the picture. Top man, top player. A true legend, and like far too many associated with our club, taken far too early.
  7. Just had a good little play about with the new site there and can't fault it - does exactly what it needs to with a few extras thrown in. A shit tonne of new smileys that will no doubt appear over time! If I had to say one thing "negative", it would be what happened to the "dislike" button?? Need it for majority of Steelboys posts.
  8. Yeah, same here. Thats OK with my pad, rather small for my phone which I tend to use 95% of the time while on here.
  9. For third time this year, I've had a great positivity that we are ready to turn it around and put us on my accumulator. Both times, it was the only result of five to let me down. Tonight I'm doing it again. A really nervy 1-0 will be splendid. Was hoping to get down to the game tonight, but need to work late so will have to settle for a pub in Perth.
  10. It does dilute the forums a bit, but I'm not against it as such. Major gripe is you can't see it on mobile. Went for close it on matchdays, but no real preference.
  11. Looking really fresh! Can't wait to see it with its rightful C&A skin. Good effort Yabba.
  12. Donation sent. Appreciate all the work you do in keeping the site up and running.
  13. Been listening for the last dozen or so podcasts, and this is by far the best so far. Was excellent hearing Les speak very frankly about his vision for the club and felt you guys done very well covering most of the areas of concern in the time allowed. Its so refreshing to have this much positivity off the field and the work Les is doing has the potential to build us a lasting legacy as a forward thinking community club. Top effort guys, much appreciated.
  14. Skippy by some distance. Him and the boy McLean for the sheep looked a class above everyone else on the pitch
  15. From my point of view...Scort McDonald looked a league above everyone on the park and its a tragedy our defence apears to be a complete and utter liability.
  16. This is definitely points thrown away...
  17. My bad. On watching it back see that. Weak ass header back. Watching in a bar with two St Johnstone fans and they said "what the fuck is yer centre half doing". Long could have done better too. Poor communication all round.
  18. I'm more inclined to point finger at McManus for week assed header back
  19. As a side note...see Craggs doing his bit for Just for Men hair dye!
  20. Decent first half. Hope we can keep it up
  21. From that interview, seems a very level headed and professional young man. Really hope he goes on to be a star for us for the next few years, he clearly shows the attitude and skill deserving of such.
