  1. I 100% percentage agree with this. I'm in a group of 7 going together who still don't have tickets. All 7 of us have held season tickets in the past, but none of us do now due to cost, work, other commitments, etc. We still make many games, and I have only missed 7 home games this year, and the Scottish Cup semi final as I had something else on that day - still managed to watch it. All 7 of us applied in the ballot for a seperate amount of tickets. I went with 7, my dad 5, my brother 4, my cousin 5, etc, etc so that we would have best opportunity to get tickets. Not one of us has heard a peep from the club! I am running two buses from Shotts, and as it stands just now everyone on the bus just now has a ticket apart from our group!! I do appreciate that this is a hectic process for a club our size, by in my eyes, the situation my group is in is nothing short of a complete and utter disgrace. We have contacted the club on various occassions and been told we "should be OK, it just takes time." People on my bus are going to their first Motherwell game of the season and have tickets, yet fans who between us have pumped well over £2000 this year alone with tickets for games get nothing! I think one of the executives needs to come out and explain this debacle. But in the mean time I'm still stuck here with full panic mode on because of the unfair, illogical, chaotic ticket sales process! Either way I know my dad plans on writing a very strong letter to the club, and if we don't manage to get tickets for the final or have to get tickets split up all over Hampden, then I think it's fair to say that the club will have scared off 7 loyal fans.
  2. If a 50/50 split is impossible for segregation issues, who got more tickets at League Cup Final?!!! Can't imagine either half of the bigot brothers accepting less than the other - and theres more reason to segregate them!! Maybe it's just the SFA are just full of fucking shit and are bending over to be rammed hared by one of the Old Firm yet again??!!!
  3. Or in Toulouse where my uncle has stayed and worked past 12years?!!! Miles off with your comments there. I did say "I don't know exact figures!" when talking about season tickets and I'm meerly expressing my concerns that someone who pays a lot of money per year to watch a team I have supported all my life, having a season ticket the vast majority of those years, isn't guaranteed a ticket for our first Scottish Final in 20years!
  4. Just heard that we have an option for another 6,000 tickets should/if/when we sell out! If theis is the case then there is less of a panic - we should of had at least 20,000 to sart with! Can anyone confirm this?
  5. I'm a bit pissed off with the ticketing for the final for a number off reasosn: Firstly, at SFA who have yet again pandered to one of the Brother's Grimm. Celtic get twice our allocation in a showpiece final at a neutral venue! Balls! A more favourbale/acceptable would have been 60/40 and I beleive we could have sold our allocation. Next, at Celtic themselves! I heard a few of them moan at me yesterday that there allocation was crap and we shouldn't be getting 16,000 as our average gate is blah, blah, blah! Well I suppose their 32, 000 or whatever only allows for 5% of those who were in Seville to go! Thirdly, our club. While I'm all in favour for season ticket holders getting priority, I think allowing them to buy 4 tickets before a public sale is a bit much. Two would have been much fairer! Don't know exact figures, but say we have 4700 season ticket holders all wanting to buy 4 tickets - that leaves us needing an extra 2800 allocation just to accomodate them! Yeah not all season ticket holders will take 4, but how many will be getting tickets for wives/girlfriends/parents/pals who support some other team and fancy a day out/etc?! I've not had a season ticket in a few years due mainly to the fact I have work commitments and there is no point paying for a ticket when I'm not sure wether I'll be able to use it from week to week. Did have one for about 11 seasons, which is taken into consideration! Also, I think I have made about 12 home games this season, paying at the gate/ticket office each time. Also got family who work away who want to go and are in the exact same boat! Don't want to come accross as a moaning git, but I've went from unbelieably excited for the 21st - even organising a bus! - to nervous and deflated that I might not get a ticket! For all those season ticket fans taking someone who hasn't been to a single Motherwell game in the past 10years or so....thanks! Because of you lot, folk like me (who actually pay more to watch the team by paying at the gate most/every game) might not get a ticket! Rant over - and fingers tightly crossed I'm just over panicing!
  6. Has our allocation been confirmed yet? Just skipped through the thread but didn't see anything official?
  7. This has made me laugh.....the word hypocritical comes to mind!
  8. What about Keef?? Agree with what you say, but the housewives favourite is my top tip so far!
  9. Just didn't want to be accused of anything! Other is for English/Italian/German/Swahili (SP?) posters on here!
  10. This is one of the big irritations I have with Scotland. I never missed a home game for 9years (including USA at Pittodrie, etc) and then when it came to the Italy (Euro 2008 qualifier) game I couldn't get a ticket!! Made worse by the fact my application for SSC membership 6months earlier hadn't been processed (despite them charging me for it) and only realised when trying to get my Italy ticket. When the erroe was realised, they said there was now a waiting list for SSC and it basically wasn't getting a ticket! I get where you're coming from here, but its always been the case. Goram and McCall where in the same boat, but you could never question their commintment to Scotland - they were passionate Scots. Same goes for Alexander, Hutchinson even Matt Elliot of more recent times. I does annoy me that all too often we go after mediocre English players rather that blood our U21's - Jamie Mackie and Danny Fox being the perfect example of this! However, both Commons and Morrison are great additions to the squad and I'm delighted to have them!
  11. Hugh Keevins is a fucking bawbag. That is all!
  12. I liked the suggestion from other thread along the lines of "sue us Broon, you're integrity is being questioned!"
  13. I have only two words to say..... FUCKING YASSSSSSSSSS!!!! We don't need to question your intergrity Broon, we'll just pish all over your sheep-shagging, deluded, imbred gimps on their own patch!!
  14. Right on cue....Broon tells us just how much he respects us....
  15. Like many, fear the worse. A draw would be a best result we can realistically hope for I think, but it all depends on what team turns up. The one we saw at Dens and at Hampden, or the one that let Rangers walk all over us?! It's sod's law that Blackman will score, just hope McCall can get the boys fired right up to put one over the two auld pricks! I'd happily settle for an 11th place finish in the league right now for maximum points from our games against Aberdeen to get it right up them! Actually hate Aberdeen more than any other team in Scotland just now!!
  16. Jesus christ, its one game...get a grip! Another embarassment at Ibrox and agaist Rangers, but we had lots of players out and I'm sure it was just a complete off day! Worst thing, as shown by the CIS semi, they are under no cicumstances miles aheah of us and 6-0 flatters them nand just makes it that much harder to swallow!
  17. That for me is one of the reasons I'm more of a Scottish football fan, more of a spetacle when it comes around and I always get a sense of occassion (even when we are pish!) As mentioned already, I think if we had made it to 1 or 2 finals in the past 10years it may be a closer vote!
  18. Exactly what I said to my mate during the game....Don't get me wrong I'd be devastaed if we got relegated, but that pain would be more than eased by a World Cup adventure! Just hope its not 2022 - Qatar far too hot in the summer to be bouncing about in your kilt! As LadyWellToi says, Scotland winning a World Cup would be the singular greatest thing ever!! Seems we are in the minority though....quite suprised by this, thought it would be more balanced.
  19. Was chatting with a mate during the Scotland game the other night and he said he's much more interested than what his club (Rangers) do, rather than the Scotland. I put this down to him being a queen and country biggot and thought no more. Then last night was talking to another mate and I explained the story and he said his team (Hibs - Junkie bastard he is!) come before Scotland! For me, it's completely the opposit! I will always have the national team before my love of Motherwell! But now I'm starting to think I'm on my own with these thoughts, so thought I'd gauge opinion on here!
  20. Have to agree with all thats been said....top professional and one of the most honest, humble, genuine guys at the clubs. What he lacks in pace and technical ability he more than makes up for it in workrate and desire. Would be gutted to see him go in the summer!
  21. Not excited about this at all!
  22. Said the exact same thing on Sunday (only I compared him to Beckenbauer!)....I now hold my breath when he has the ball, which I've not done since the days of Kinninburgh!
  23. I still haven't made up my mind on the goal machine. At times last night he played like a lost little girl and at other times he had moments of genius. I'm prepared to give him more time srating with Stranraer as last night was his first real taste of SPL football in 6months! As other have said, the pressure is on him due to the whole Hammerfist thread and you have to look by that. In all fairness, I thought we were solid yesterday just a wee bit weak upfront with Murphy and Casagolda off the pace at times. Would have started Sutton and Casagolda. Either way, he's not the worst signing we've ever made, and he has just put in an average shift. Unfair to judge someone on one outing!
