....Aye but no pressure from the 50,000 demanding you're Pele every week cause your playing for the "club of the pe-pal!" Just telling what I was led to believe....
-
I've heard that Webster has bottled it at the thought of playing for a club the stature of Rangers. All these injuries are feigned because the pressure gets to him and he can't hack it. ....and thats why he isn't fancied at Rangers (by McCoist, etc) because he's been sussed out and the blue-blooded Rangers personel ain't having it. He'll start next game for Hearts after he signs!

What's that called again?? "Hamerfist and I: The Story of a Goal-Machine!!"

Just do what we done post-adminastration and chuck in all the young boys! Aye we may have finished last that season, but we relied solely on the young guns with very little experience around them. This time it would just be to bulk up the squad. And the last time round we saw McFadden, Pearson, Clarkson, Quinn and Hammell all cement their place a main-stays. Our U19's from the past few years have always be there or there abouts in the league, and from what I've seen and heard about some of the young boys we have then why not fire them in at the deep end if/when needed?? That was Gannon's philosophy, and I know a lot of posters on here liked that! While I would loved a few faces in just to bolster the squad, I'd not to worried at all and would love to see the young boys comming in. McFadden, Reynolds, Pearson, Quinn, Clarkson, Hammell, etc all started playing regualrly in the first team under the age of 20.

He would be a magnificent signing....but not a chance in hell he'd come to us! Would take Clarko and Porter back...but again, don't think that'll happen. Simple becuase we just can't afford their wages or any fee assosiated with them!

Oh, aye, and I think it's a compliment to how well we played that "The Mighty Glasgow Rangers" had 11 men behind the ball when we had possension, and 11 men in the box at corners....even before Edu scored! Even against us "diddy teams" Walter is ultra-negative beyond belief!!

Thought we played excellent yesterday, and becuase of that I'm a wee bit more gutted than I am if we got properly humped! Aye, I would have been angrier, but to come so close and desrve something from the game and get nothing is a real downer. On another day Murphy would have buried one of his two chances (first minute and last minute), Alexander's backside wouldn't get in the way of Saunders header and Edu's left foot strike would have hit row Z. So basically, for me, we were unlucky, and that is always harder to swallow. Thought McCall got everything spot on with the exception of maybe throwing another body upfront after Rangers took the lead again. The three man midfield was immense, especially Las and Jenno. Thought Hammell was top drawer yet again (player of the season so far for me!) and young Hutch put in another convincing display. Sutton won all of his headers and Murphy had flashed of brilliance in the link up play. Few negativies (although minor ones) was mainly down the right-side. Thought Saunders looked a wee bit shakey at times and the Humph played liked a scared wean for 60-70mins afraid to run at Papac. He finally done it in the 2nd half and destroyed him for pace. Rangers even started doubling up on him the last 20mins and he still got by them with ease. Yes, his distrubution could/should be better, but if he played with a bit more balls for the 90mins he would have caused untold damage as it was clear from the last third of the game Papac had no anser to his pace. Finally, Craigan. As much as I've been a huge fan of him and what he offers the team with experience, etc, yesterday was the begining of the end for me and I'd rather see Page/Saunders/Gunner play before him now. His distrubution was awful yesterday, even short passes to the midfield, he left Naismith for the goal and once to often he was getting pulled out of position. I think the work put in by Jenno, Las, Hutch and Hammell covered up for his frailties yesterday, but for the first time in ages watching a 'Well game, everytime he touched the ball I held my breath fearing the worst. He no longer installs confidence in me to get the job done, and I think its time this great servant to the club took a back step. That all said, I don't want to finish on a negative. It is a team game after all, and as a whole I thought we were excellent yesterday and I hope we can carry this into our league form and Scottish cup form, and fingers crossed, we may get another we Hampden trip this year! Moan the 'Well!!

Will do mate...

That was my first one!

Still got 3 seats available if any of you guys want to take a trip down memory lane and go on this bus??? If we get to the final, I'm planning on arranging a "big" bus for it leaving from Shotts. Cause I left this to the last minute, a lot of the 'Well fans I know in the town have made other arrangements!
-
3 Seats now available....
-
One seat left going from Shotts (maybe 3)
-
Bus is all booked and only have one seat left if there are any takers??
-
To be honest mate, couldn't tell you.
-
No you can just pay there mate. Got you down for 3 anyway, but will confirm within the next 24hrs. Need it full (or a bawhair off it) to make it worth while.
-
Probably get pick up from Station Hotel as it's most central.
-
Train from Livingston South to Shotts.... If we get a full bus will £7.50/head. 16seater...7 taken up by my group, 9 left!
-
Basically I'm in a group of 7 going to the game, and rather than take two cars or get the train going to book a mini-bus. Good friends with a guy who runs a company, and availability is there, but before I book want to make sure I have 15 bodies.
-
Nope, sorry! Big B...looking for enough numbers to fill it before booking, but no problems with 3. Waiting on prices back too, but can't imagine it will be too expensive! Will be in touch in next 24hrs.
-
Got a bus sorted (numbers permitting) from Shotts to Hampden on Sunday. Probably leave about 12.30/1 and pickup just after the game if there is any folk interested. PM me for more details asap! Sorry if this is posted in wrong thread...

The jury's still out for me...think there may be something to this.

Just got a text from a die-hard Rangers supporting mate asking how good he is...he says from what he's heard (and he's one of these guys that is always usually right when guessing players to come/go to Ibrox) there's definately an interest been shown.

I echo whats been said here, think Centre half is where we are most flush. As well as Hutch, we have Page, Charmbolis (SP?) and Saunders is better in the middle in my opinion. There is also young Quinn who gets rave reviews from those that have seen his games. Other than young players, we don't have a left mid in the team. That is a priority. Would also like a Righ Back in, let Hately compete for a midfield spot with Jennings and Lasley. Young Meechan and Forbes also offer options there. Up front we have Sutton, Murphy , Casagolda, McHugh and Smith, who again gets rave reviews from those that see the U19 games. Priorities for signings for me are: LM, RB, C/RM, ST. A CB is not needed at all IMO!

Heard froma Falkirk supporting mate (and youth coach with them) that we have Pedro Moutinho on trial. Apparantly if he doesn't get a deal with us, he will return to the Bairns. Always thought he was half decent, if somewhat inconsistent. I'm sure we will have 2 or 3 faces in before the end of the transfer, and as others have said, priority for me is a left sided midfielder. I think the young guys coming through offer cover in other areas of the park (Hutchinson, Page, McHugh, Meechan, Smith, even Halsman)
