  1. Cummings better than Johnson...fuck right off, fucking hell hahaha
  2. Almost word-for-word, what I'd have written... ...I'd also have stated though that any sort of playing deal for Faddy is now beyond counter-productive
  3. I dont like the 'its only £15' patter, I really dont. £15 to one person is heehaw, but to the next can be a sum of money that they cant do without... ...that said, the Club is a business as Joeboy pointed out, and I'm pretty sure they wouldnt have just plucked these figures out of thin air, they will know roughly how many they will sell and what sort of money that need to charge. If you dont want to buy because of the increase and believe its not worth it in comparison to the gate price and/or potentially missing games, or you genuinely cant afford the increase then fair-do's but get over it. The Club are in a financial position where they need to squeeze as much money as they can out of their fans, either pay it or dont. For what its worth, I buy mine because if I dont it may well break the habit of me going at all, its also a shared interest for me and my boys (though they dont even sit with me these days) and something for us to do on a Saturday afternoon...its also a relatively inexpensive few hours out the house.
  4. I usually go for a pie and a bovril when Hammell gets a throw-in...just so that I dont miss anything
  5. I dont buy a season ticket to make a saving, I buy one because I know that if I dont, there is a good chance that I'll get to match day and decide not to go
  6. Aye, I consider it to be 'out of town' mate, although probably not in the truest sense.
  7. The thought of playing at an out-of-town ground really doesnt appeal one bit
  8. McDonald easily...head and shoulders above everyone else on the park. A quick word on Cadden too...very quickly turning into an extremely important player to us with his physicality and stamina
  9. The ball rolled along the touchline, hit the corner flag and stopped dead...the ball boy walked over and picked it up. Ref made the right call with the drop ball. On the game...we were miles ahead of Hearts and really should have fucked them about 5-0, very wasteful in front of goal but the front 4 terrorised their defence all day. If we had played like that earlier in the season we'd have finished second. For me, Skippy was a country mile ahead of every single player on the park. A great display from him.
  10. I'm not convinced by the boy to be fair, he doesn't seem particularly good in the air. I also think he would be off his head to leave Motherwell at this point in his career. As for Skippy, I don't think there is anyway he'll leave Motherwell for another Scottish club, it's a nailed on certainty that he'll be with us next season
  11. If Leitch can't get a game ahead of Gomis, then I think its safe to say what McGhee thinks of his abilities.
  12. Law was shite again in my opinion, and Hammell was poor in the first half but improved in the second when he went all out, to nullify Roberts
  13. McDonald was fantastic, his work rate was impeccable...I also love how he moans like fuck at everybody around him, even when he's at fault. A few very good performances, but for me our keeper turned in a great shift, he really kept us in the game at times. The life of a goalkeeper though means that you are only one mistake away from being a total haddie....outfield players can make mistakes all day and get away with it
  14. Yip, for us to be sitting in the Top6 with an opportunity to qualify for Europe is an outstanding achievement considering where we were when McGhee came in AND the awful sequence of results we had at the turn of the year.
  15. What goes on behind closed doors, should stay behind closed doors
  16. Every club is a selling Club, at the end of the day...and most clubs talk up players that they'd like to punt further down the line. You've all been talking about United as if they are alone in Scotland, but just look down the M74 at a Club who seem to always manage to bring great money in for players plying their trade in our shite league...with young Tierney currently getting the 'he can play at a far higher level' treatment
  17. Hes certainly not of the standard that I'd expect, if we had 11 players of Laws standard, we really would be fucked
  18. He was signed as a right-back and had played there consistently for his former Club...the fact McCall tried to play him as an attacking midfielder still makes me laugh
  19. McCall signed him, friend of the family, it was a strange decision. Baraclough played him as a first pick...but then he also though Straker was a capable full back at our level. McGhee has dropped him after a couple of months of watching him
  20. 'Hate' is definitely the wrong word...'dread' is the way I feel when I see his name on the team sheet. He's not good enough
  21. He can assist all he likes...the problem is that he cant defend for toffee
  22. I liked Grimshaw from the off, and thought I'd like Gomis too. Unfortunately, I've been disappointed in his general playing style
  23. Not for me I'm afraid, not a fan at all
