I don't know if it would have avoided not having a sponsor in those years, but it sure as hell doesn't help when you're product is poor...and I'm not just talking about the stuff on the park. TV companies and sponsors want to be associated with exciting products and an SPL match live from NDP ain't exciting for the neutral observer, other than in a 'point and stare' kind of way. Ross County and Fir Park, whilst not exactly salubrious, look like they are intended for football, while ICT have built one of these soulless out-of-town stadiums. NDP takes the fucking biscuit though...you're right though, they are where they are on merit, but the league itself would be better without them

Our pitch? seriously? There are one or two bare patches close to the East Stand but by fuck its a cracking surface considering the weather that has beaten down on it, and the improvements that have been made in the last 5 years. There are worse pitches in the top-flight...much worse. That wee baldy bastard should have been banned from Fir Park years ago.

Scottish Football embarrasses itself on a regular basis whenever a match is beemed on TV to the nation from that stupid, wee ground and the sooner Accies fuck off back to their true level in any one of the lower leagues the better. You can just imagine someone sitting tuning into Accies v Celtic in their home in America, Australia, England or wherever and going 'thats top-flight football in Scotland' just as the camera catches a corner of the double-decker bus behind the goal, or the squinty rockery, or the wee shed that they keep their tools in, or the wee 5-a-side park that runs alongside the pitch, just beyond their fucking gazebo. All-the-while, the commentary team are sitting up on top of a pretend castle thats used by the local nursery. Thats all without mentioning their shite supports both home and away and their shite-quality plastic pitch. I understand that they are a small club and that they need to use their facilities as much as possible to generate cash, but the look of it all is shoddy and amateur in the extreme and does nothing to attract sponsorship to the league I wouldnt have thought.

I didn't want McGhee back, his 2nd season last time around was really and truly shite, his whoring about of himself to all and sundry and his subsequent move to Aberdeen, and the reaction that received from our fans at Pittodrie made me think it was the wrong appointment... ...however, this dissecting every sentence that comes out his mouth and criticising every tactical change he makes is fucking cringeworthy. The man will be our manager until at least the end of this season and the shite on this board over the past few weeks has been diabolical in the extreme and will help nobody, not the players, not the fans and certainly not McGhee. Anything above 11th will do me this season and it should satisfy every single person in our support considering the utter riot he inherited from Baraclough, Burrows and the Board.

I might be in the minority here but the 1st leg at Ibrox for me was the highlight. When Ainsworths 3rd hit the net, oof. Folk just hugging each other and laughing at half time in the toilets

The folk that are hailing Vigurs as some sort of mis-understood demi-God of fitba' are the same folk that were continually telling us that we didnt appreciate what we had when Alan Gow was in his 'pomp' at Fir Park. Vigurs was an embarrassment to himself whilst he was at Fir Park, a lazy, lazy bastard of a guy. As for Lawless, and the claims that we should have kept him...we were a much better team when he was in our reserves than we are now, he couldnt make the breakthrough and went elsewhere, the fact that he scored with a huge deflection on Tuesday and has carved out a semi-decent career with Thistle does nothing to prove that we weren't right to let him go at that moment in time

Mark McGhee is going up in my estimation this week...Taylor, Robinson and Wee Dan The Midget Goalie all gone in a couple of days, still more deadwood to follow hopefully. Then he can use the money to hopefully bring in a couple of players 'good enough to start'

Add me to the list of folk bamboozled by the footballing ability assassination of Stevie Hammell...still one of the best left-backs in the whole league if you ask me. Struggling to think of any in the current Premiership that I'd have in my team before him

A few thoughts from today; - 3 points dropped, County were shite - Mr Kennedy isn't a right back - Hammells injury could be a real blow for us if it's as bad as it appeared - Cadden wasnt sparkling but he didn't look out his depth...hopefully he appears more confident in himself next time he gets a start - Hopefully Bournemouth weren't watching Johnson today...pretty poor - Scott Boyd had Moult in his pocket for most of the match - Our decision making in the final 3rd and final ball was poor overall - why it took to 75mins to make an attacking change when we were flat from about 60mins was bizarre, as was the fact that Johnson managed to stay on even though he was cunted - I didn't really get the vitriol towards the referee...yes, he's a wee bawbag in general, but today I didn't think he done much wrong...certainly nothing that overly influenced the outcome of the match -
