How anyone can disagree with the Bosman ruling is beyond me. I'd love to hear the argument to be honest
-
Our group sit in two separate areas for each half, which sort of sums up how shite our attendances are...sit wherever you like basically.
-
Definitely...the choice of player coming off surprised me, as I thought we'd go directly like for like with Johnston making way. It was apparent that it was a mistake and the gaffer rectified it by bringing Clarkson on for Johnston, albeit a bit later than I would have liked.

Aye, of course the away support is a big factor, but there is no doubt that our home support is much less than it was even just 3 or 4 years ago
-
Louis Moult...a fully paid up member to his fan club now.
-
I'm not usually one to sit and talk about attendances and shite crowds etc, and didn't even notice how poorly the match today was attended until after the announcer read it out. Sub-4000 crowds are incredibly worrying and it seems to becoming the norm at our place...we can all make a lot of excuses why the attendances are poor...cold weather, too expensive, Christmas round the corner, team playing shite for example...but all of theses things have been the case for years, so why is it now that our attendances are plummeting and what can we realistically do to get the lapsed fans back, even before we think about getting new fans engaged? Looking round about me, in what was a traditionally busy part of the East Stand, there were more empty seats than filled ones.

Suppose that's similar to Gannon though...I'm in no way defending Baraclough, but the recent form of the 3 players I've mentioned is something we should be thanking him for
-
I was sceptical of Moult to start with, but by fuck he has proven me wrong this season. Baraclough was a disaster on so many levels, but like Gannon before him, he has managed to pluck a few gems out of thin air...Johnston, Grimshaw, having smashing games today, but Moult was outstanding, even when he is playing poorly you know his work rate and his commitment will always be consistent. Overall, we looked so much more organised than we have done for almost 2 years, a lot of that must be put down to the slight change in formation with 3 in the middle giving far better protection to our back line. 2nd half was a bit ropey at times and McGhees subs could have been utilized earlier to attempt to take the pressure off, but over the course of the 90, we were a million miles better than Dundee.
-
Good luck to the young fella today...Kennedy paying the price for his disaster show against Hearts.
-
I dont see how adding more games to an already devalued competition is going to bring crowds flocking or increase the spectacle of our game...these matches wont be on the season ticket either I wouldnt have thought, which could see some really small crowds across the board

Never seen snow like it piled up on the side of the motorway around Stirling...that was one of the best away days ever to be fair -
Paterson for Scotland? Johnson gave him an absolute riding, he also took the bait from some of the East Stand patrons...pure shite. That's the Johnson that's been missing since the play offs and it was great to see.
-
That's the 1st time I've enjoyed a match at For Park this season, I left feeling as though I'd been entertained. Huge improvement, but still loads wrong too. 2 shitey goals to lose again...Kennedy in particular had a bit of a shocker. Our attacking play in the 1st half especially was great though, with Paterson taking an absolute riding every time Johnson got on the ball. One thing no one else has mentioned...Pearson should get a doing for his kick out at whichever cheating Jambo dick it was. 2mins to go, when we are under the cosh and one of our more experienced guys lashes out like that??
-
Agreed Gordy...I just want a team to support, and to be fair all this financial talk and society stuff bores me to tears.
-
Our squad is far too big, full of players who just arent good enough. For the 1st time that I can remember, I'm actually unsure as to what my 1-11 would be if I had the choice and everyone was fit, because there are areas of the park that we have 2 or even 3 choices of who to play and they are all as poor as each other. What I want to see, before another player is brought in, is that several are shown the door.
-
I'd take Imrie over a good few of the dicks in our current squad
-
Jamie Murphy was a fantastic player for Motherwell
-
Hateley was twice the right-back our current guy is. It probably says a lot about the Nick of Scottish fitba in general that some seem more than happy to have players with the limited ability of Josh Law playing in our starting XI
-
Moult...purely for his workrate Eileen Grimshaw and Mr Kennedy were about the only others worthy of passmarks. Both full backs are fucking terrible and our 'talisman' up front was dire again
-
Their current right-winger will be shitting himself about his starting spot now

James O'Hare works in a concrete plant in Motherwell...dont think he got near the 1st team, or played at any level after leaving Motherwell Martin Melvin works as a surveyor for a Road Surfacing company in Bellshill -
All that proves to me is that Motherwell fans need to be a wee bit sneakier when acting like an arsehole

Was at that game too...Ahlen, near Dortmund!! Cannae believe it was over 12 years ago right enough...Think from memory, the under21s had a smashing team at that point. -
I hear that McGhee has been trying big Louis at left-wing in training all week...
