Grimshaw for me as well. Loving the comedy vote for Louis Laing though...3 days after the event I'm still sniggering at the thought of anyone believing that big Louis could be a midfielder.
-
Agree with every word until the last sentence...he's done, been past it for almost 2 seasons now

As a dyed-in-the-wool Sutton detractor, I've got to agree with Ya Bezzer here. Some of the names on your list Infamous Wee Grafter, are shockers I'm afraid.

Stunningly succinct ML1

Name them

I've got a lot of time for the Bois as a group...but having a joint protest with that shower of manky fucks was an own goal, I'm afraid, no matter the message. They love playing the victim card, so aligning ourselves with them was the wrong thing to do.

We still got the goalie coach on the payroll...Jim Holman or whatever? Pot will Meldrum be back shortly?

I was a disgrace, but you were worse

Motherwell to pump Celtic...McGhee to tell the media that Delia should be punted and replaced by a 'Cellic' man
-
McGhee was 'outed' at Pittodrie a few years back

I don't know, just putting it out there. He obviously has the ear of Hutchison, so not inconceivable that he could have pushed his view across.

There should be a 3rd option....not the choice I'd have gone for, but I'm not going to act like a fud and burn my season ticket at Motherwell Cross at the thought of shovel-face being in the managers office. Our Club has had far too much trauma over the past 18-24months and we need a sustained, settled period. A section of our support acting like wankers, and not backing the Club is not a good thing at this present time.

McGhee most certainly wouldn't have been my pick for the hot seat. His last spell would be best described as a 'mixed bag'...he originally got us fit, at a time where we were reeling from Maurice fucking Malpas, and playing tremendous fitba' in his 1st season, he handled the tragedy of Phils passing, with great dignity and compassion. However, his arrogance and his obvious feeling that Motherwell was beneath him was apparent almost from the get-go, and the whoring about of himself to Hearts, Scotland, Aberdeen and Celtic was nauseous and totally disrespectful. His 2nd season in charge was very poor in comparison to that of his 1st, with a few dubious signings made as well. I was there at Pittodrie the day he got slaughtered by a larger than normal away support, he got abused for 90 minutes from a Motherwell support who believed they had been disrespected. Now, I've stuck up for Alan Burrows before, but I do wonder what his influence over this appointment would be...McGhee after all was the man who gave him his 'in' to work at the Club originally. Unfortunately he doesn't have a pre-season to sort us out, he also doesn't have players like McCormick to run riot on his behalf I'm surprised the Club has gone down this road to be honest as it had the potential to split the support in a big way, however the folk who are 'handing season tickets back' or declaring 'ah'll no be back', can fuck right off in my opinion. McGhee isnae really a paedophile...

This is dragging on far too long for my liking....unless the reports are true about waiting on Valakari, what the he'll can be taking so long.

Some punts are bigger than others though...so I get the thinking behind the 'Simo is a risk' chat. That in no way means that I dont want Simo and want McGhee, but it cant be denied that McGhee would be a 'safer pair of hands' to get us out of the mire than Simo would. On McGhee though, I enjoyed every second of the football produced in his 1st season, but there was always that niggling doubt that he'd be off as soon as some other Club showed him a bit of interest. In all honesty, I think he treated our Club rather shabbily with all his talk of Hearts, Celtic and Aberdeen jobs, and for this reason along with McCall I dont want him back anywhere near us. The fact that he wants to come back given the abuse he recieved from our fans (honestly, not me) tells me a lot about the man as well...utterly desperate.

The pyro at ibrox was shit hot and seemed to get the Well fans going...that whole atmosphere was tremendous

RIP Joe...before my time, but testiment to his abilities, heard all about his loyalty, presence and longevity. How many players have had 2 testimonials for any club? We've named stands after players who have given a fraction of what Wark gave to the Club both as a player and a supporter.

No idea how much he gets for his TV work, but I'd be surprised if the managers job didn't pay more than that and his current coaching role combined
-
Don't believe the interviews, Craigan definitely wants the job...as long as the money involved compensates for giving up the TV work
-
Cheeky, ginger, h*n bastard... ...I'll never forget how he imposed Josh Law, Dan Twardzik and Omar Daley on us, as well as some of the good stuff he done. If he thinks it was only the last 6 matches that were shite, then he is kidding himself.

One from 'left-field' and one that may tie in with the 'Dutch player' rumours...I've been told that Wim Koevermans has applied for the job, and is likely to be on the shortlist, apparently friendly with MVDG who pointed him in our direction. Experience managing in the Dutch league, and at international level with India supposedly.

Rix and *McGee double

Because Lasley runs about like a fanny on the park doesn't mean he can't be a disruptive influence off it.

Its about the only job he hasnt done.
