  1. I dont see it as punishing the Club, I see at as being scunnered with fitba in general. As I've said though, I'm pretty certain that the wee man will coax me into buying a season ticket regardless of what happens.
  2. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17874407 Rangers and Cellic fans are forever telling us we'd be reduced to the levels of the Welsh league without them, but at looks as though the League of Wales has a bit of baws when it comes to dealing with member clubs, maybe we should be aiming to follow their lead after all.
  3. I bet you were that arsehole that was standing in front of me yesterday berating the big man every time he was near our end of the pitch - some fucking 'supporter'!!!!
  4. Mekongo looked like a haddy the 1st time I seen him, but with each week he seemed to get better and better and to be honest I was surprised to see his name on the list, but I've not seen them play since February so I've nae idea whats happened since then. It might even be that he was getting paid more than his peers and the Club didnt think it was worth it....
  5. He wisnae up to much from what I seen of him. Lots of effort, but would never make it in thE SPL
  6. I know exactly who done it anaw, and he was quite proud of the fact that he booted the wee wank
  7. A letter sent by a Killie fan to Michael Johnson - sums up my feelings entirely; Dear Mr Johnston, I have been a season ticket holder at Rugby Park for 15 years now, and have enjoyed this season as much as any since I started going. When the full time whistle went in the League Cup final, I was nearly in tears, having waited so long to see us winning a trophy. The one cloud which is hanging over it at the moment is the reaction of the SPL to the ongoing Rangers situation. I have followed the story intently, and I am aware of the issues which could trouble the other SPL clubs. I realise that the clubs are in a difficult position because of the financial implications of not having Rangers in the SPL, but I do not believe these should outweigh the integrity of the sport. At the moment, it looks very unlikely that the current Rangers FC, established in 1872, will survive into next season. There have been suggestions from SPL club representatives, and indeed from Neil Doncaster himself, that if Rangers FC were liquidated, a "newco" Rangers would be admitted to the SPL in their place, rather than having to apply to the SFL as would no doubt be the case with any other club - such as our own. This would be an affront to the sport and would expose the SPL as a corrupt sham of a league. The suggested sanctions which are due to be voted on by you and the other chairman on Monday do not go anything like far enough. The very simple rule should be that "newco" clubs will not be admitted to the league under any circumstances. This extends to any "hived-down" or "incubator" companies, which seems to be the suggestion of the current preferred bidder. I will be moving to Edinburgh in the summer, but at the moment I intend to renew my season ticket and travel through to most, if not all, home games. However, if any Rangers FC side other than the original club is involved in the league next season, I can guarantee you that I will not be renewing, and I doubt I would attend Rugby Park at all next season. This is not a decision I would take lightly, because I have passionately supported this club for so long, but I would see no point in paying money and attending games in a league which is essentially rigged to allow two teams to do whatever they like and get away with it. I have no problem with the Old Firm clubs dominating on the field, but that should not allow them to be considered "special cases" off it. I am aware that our club is still not in the best of shape financially, and that the higher income from a TV deal containing Rangers is very welcome. I know that Rangers tend to bring larger travelling supports than most other clubs. I know that they are good for the global image of the league. I know that our club's income would be reduced if Rangers were not involved in the league. However, that should not mean that they are treated differently from anyone else. Instead, we would have to adjust our budget accordingly, even if that meant a substantial drop in the quality on the field. I am confident that our current manager could work on a reduced budget and field an exciting, youthful tema. If our club was relegated, we would have to make cuts and attempt to keep the books balanced. This situation should not be as severe as relegation, because we would still have Celtic in the league, and presumably some sort of TV deal, even if it is not as lucrative as the current one. There will be financial implications of keeping Rangers in the league too. I have already said that I would not be renewing my season ticket if they were kept in the league, and I imagine I am not alone. I believe that supporters of clubs across the country will do likewise. I'm sure you are aware of the SPL Fans' Survey, which showed overwhelming opposition to their re-admission. I am sure that not everyone who claimed they would not return will follow through on that threat, but many supporters will. I am aware that Neil Doncaster has claimed that the decision would be one for the SPL board, of which you are not a member. Obviously your legal knowledge will trump mine, but I would dispute his claim based on the contents of Article 14b) of the SPL rules. Even if he is correct, and it is purely a board decision, Kilmarnock FC would be complicit in the actions of this board, given that the board was elected by the SPL representatives. Thanks for taking the time to read my email. I would, of course, love to hear a response from you if you have the time to get back to me. If not, then at least you are aware of my feelings on the matter, and will know why I haven't renewed if Rangers do re-enter. Regards, *name*
  8. Because of the precedent it sets and because it will make our farce of a league even more farcical You've stated that we've been shat on for years, and to an extent I agree with you but this decision really will take the biscuit.
  9. It says it all that you've only listed 13 players, been a real team effort this season with no one player being the usual head and shoulders above the rest. Randolph - I reckon he is the most consistent keeper we've had, played in 73 games of 74 since he signed!! Hammell - again total consistency ALL season from a Club stalwart Hateley - had a bit of dip in form recently but as far as over the course of the season goes, has there been a better right-back in the whole league? Hutch - would header a brick wall if you asked him to I reckon, he has been slightly unlucky with injuries and is still learning his game if I'm being totally honest, but easily young player of the year and will go onto bigger things Clancy - a real favourite of mine, considering we got him for fuck all from Killie Reserves and the fact that I thought he was a bombscare anytime I had seen him before, I've been delighted with how he has played this season Lasley - this has been his best season in C&A and has chipped in with some goals as well, his partnership with Jennings is as good as we've had since Lambert, Davies and Dolan. Only thing that would let him down is his disciplinary record Jennings - To my mind, Jenno makes the team tick, when he plays we play and if I was pushed he'd be my player of the year. I'd be surprised to see him play in the Champions League next season as I'm sure some bigger clubs would be dleighted to have him Humphrey - I'm a big critic of Humphrey simply because he frustrates the lifev out of me, but when he is on his game (such as against Perth Saints) he is unplayable, needs to try and add consistency to his game though Murphy - A decent goals return this season, considering he's spent much of it on the left-side of midfield Law - Had a bit of an up and down season, one week looks shit-hot the other it seems as though the corner flag has some sort of magnetic force that pulls him in. Has goals in his locker, just wish he'd pull the trigger a wee bit more often, but again when he has Lasley and Jenno beside him he seems to thrive Higdonkey - the big man isnt exactly easy on the eye at times, but I;d far rather have him in our team than be up against us. Has 16 goals so far, which is a very good return, he has had to deal with a load of shite from the clueless amongst us as well, but he is integral to our team. Hopefully we'll never see him up front, isolated on his todd again though Ojamma - exploded onto the scene and really hauled us through a sticky spell and turned our season around. Next season will be a huge one in his career though. Anyway, if forced, I'd go for Jennings.
  10. Hopefully the continual moaners/beraters/know-nothings in our support will give any new Summer signing the chance to stamp his authority on the team before they boo/berate/scream at him after a few matches of the new season although that would mean that they would 1st of all have to grasp the basics of a game of footbal and its tactics 1st. The negativity towards Higdon from a (we'll call it a) minority of our support is the polar opposite to the man-love dished out to Ojama after a few (brilliant) matches. Now, I'm not having a go at Ojama because he is a young lad and came in at a time when we were struggling and really helped turn our season around but that initial impact has certainly wained. What I'm trying to say is that, maybe our support shouldnt be so hasty as to pigeon hole a player as dynamite/shite after a few games.
  11. Couldnt make it last night, as I was coaching the boys fitba' team and had to make do with wacthing it on Sky when I got in, it wasnt pretty but what a fantastic result, the lads worked their socks off and each and every one of them was disciplined in the job they were set out to do - I though Humphrey was dynamite on Saturday but today he showed a real work ethic that Omar Daley could learn a thing or two from, he gave Hateley real support all night and even filled in at full-back a couple of times when Tom ventured forward. Lasley and Jennings though are the lynchpin of the team and it comes as no surprise to me that we have won the last two games with them back together in the side. From Randolph right through to Higdon, nobody let us down. Well Done Motherwell.

Lasley for me, got through a power of work on a night that was always going to be about work-ethic. I thought Hutch was erratic at times over the course of the match.
  13. Tremendous stuff, really was and I would say that the early penalty really settled us. For the 1st game in ages, I felt as though I was enjoying myself at the fitba'. Murphy looked confident, and teh fact that he played so close to Higdon meant that the big fella' had his best game in donks as well. No failures in the team today, but you have to put Humphrey on a pedestal as he was fucking marvellous and it was also nice to see our three forwards chip in with some goals to provide a bit of confidence going into three huge games. It all begs the question though, where the hell have the players been hiding for the past few weeks, when they can come out and destroy a rival team in such a way?
  14. If Humphrey could play like that more often he could get a a move to Liverpool - he was unplayable today, and the lad Anderson will still be dizzy after getting turned inside out so often.
  15. It was Stokes that was getting it tight, Blackman seemed to be trying to stick up for him.
  16. The new John Spencer!! That match today was unbelievably flat and considering we have it all to play for, I just cant get my head around how bad everything was. Formation, was ridiculous (I thought McCall had worked out that Higdon cannae play up front on his own), the starting XI was baffling and the effort and energy levels was downright worrying. How the match sponsors managed to pick a man of the match is beyond me. Total and utter pish from us again when we play either of the cheeks.
  17. Forbes is 100% on his way, not sure if his decision or the clubs, but he apparently has interest from Romania and USA. From our point of view, its a shame because he seemed to offer so much at the start of his 1st team career and scored some belting goals, but every time I've seen him since he missed a penalty against Accies I've been highly disappointed in him - just doesnt seem to have the athletic characteristics needed in a modern football player. From his point of view ,he needs a fresh start and the opportunity to play 1st team football week-in, week-out again and a slower standard of football might suit him best. As for Page, I'm still undecided on him (and it appears McCall is the same), no doubt had a few decent matches none moe so than when he was the elder statesman alongside Cumming, but he's had a few howlers as well QP at home in particular. I would say though that I beleive Craigans time is done and I would prefer to go with Saunders, Hutch and Clancy with Page as the 4th man rather than giving Craggs another year.
  18. Question 1 - If Rangers are liquidated and reformed as a Newco, should they be allowed immediate re-entry into the SPL? Question 2 - In the event of a Rangers Newco being allowed immediate re-entry how, as a supporter of another SPL/SFL club would you respond? I would continue to attend SPL fixtures as normal I would NOT attend any SPL fixtures at all I would continue to attend SPL fixtures but boycott any fixtures involving the Rangers Newco I support an SFL team so don't attend any SPL fixtures Question 3 - Do you back the SPL's Financial Fair Play Proposals? ABERDEEN: 97% NO to Newco // 66% wouldn't return & 24% would boycott Newco fixtures // 54% NO to FFP CELTIC: 98% NO to Newco // 53% wouldn't return & 36% would boycott Newco fixtures // 73% NO to FFP DUNDEE UTD: 97% NO to Newco // 62% wouldn't return & 27% would boycott Newco fixtures // 54% NO to FFP DUNFERMLINE: 97% NO to Newco // 62% wouldn't return & 25% would boycott Newco fixtures // 49% NO to FFP HEARTS: 97% NO to Newco // 46% wouldn't return & 36% would boycott Newco fixtures // 41% NO to FFP HIBERNIAN: 98% NO to Newco // 54% wouldn't return & 35% would boycott Newco fixtures // 56% NO to FFP INVERNESS CT: 93% NO to Newco // 55% wouldn't return & 33% would boycott Newco fixtures // 60% NO to FFP KILMARNOCK: 95% NO to Newco // 56% wouldn't return & 33% would boycott Newco fixtures // 57% NO to FFP MOTHERWELL: 92% NO to Newco // 61% wouldn't return & 25% would boycott Newco fixtures // 69% NO to FFP RANGERS: 35% NO to Newco // 22% wouldn't return & 3% would boycott Newco fixtures // 76% NO to FFP ST JOHNSTONE: 96% NO to Newco // 56% wouldn't return & 32% would boycott Newco fixtures // 57% NO to FFP ST MIRREN: 96% NO to Newco // 54% wouldn't return & 35% would boycott Newco fixtures // 59% NO to FFP
  19. Think its a stick on that we'll (the team) clap them onto the park, think Rickozas suggestion of turning our backs is a good one though as it shows our contempt for them and it'll 'out' any infiltrators in the home ends as well .
  20. Nice tune, but most of the words arent true
  21. Clancy has been a very good signing in my opinion, yes he has made mistakes at times, but who doesnt at our level? I was far from convinced when McCall signed him, as anytime I'd seen him play for Killie he looked like a bombscare and Killies fans seemed to think that he was the worst defender ever to play at Rugby Park, but he quickly won me over. Comfy on the ball and commanding in the air, I would be more than pleased to see him sign an extension, but he must cut out the daft things, sly kicks, heider folk in the chest and wild lunges every now and again. Incidentally, I find it pretty hilarious that Killie fans seem to think he is so bad and criticised him for his holwers but sit and watch Sissoko fanny about at the back for them on an almost weekly basis (although he seems to revel playing against us).
  22. Think it is more to do with trying to ensure the safety of the Kilmarnock fans, given that they wont sell out their own tickets and will no doubt be infiltrated with hundred of smelly fuckers. Another thing worthy of note is that, Michael Johnston seems to be the most vocal (along with Yorkston and Thompson) of all Club Chairman in his stance on the current voting structure, given his 'arab spring' quote.
  23. I take it we are singing 'Craig Whytes Motherwell Army' at regular intervals, win, lose or draw???
