  1. So Faddy was a shining light in a shite team, and carried said shite team on his 18yr old shoulders, while Rossco played well in a smashing team. And thats why you think Rossco is a better player??? Dont get me wrong, in his 2nd season Rossco was dynamite at times but McFadden has done stuff in his career that McCormack can't/won't get close to. Faddy has disappointed at times, mainly due to inactivity, not being able to hold down a regular position and most recently being injured more than being fit, but in terms of ability he is on a different planet to Rossco. If both were fit and willing to sign for 'well, its a no-brainer.
  2. The poster who suggested this is Number 1 'roaster' on this site at the moment and I include the likes of Milky in that.
  3. Looks like they are being allowed to place themselves in the shop windae to me
  4. If both fully fit, there is nae comparison. If you could get a fully fit Faddy or a fully fit Rossco, its a very easy decision for me.
  5. McDonald, Porter, McCormack before Faddy, aye right ye are
  6. NEWSFLASH its the system not the player that isnt working. Higdon has always been a targetman, his strength has always been flick-ons, knock downs, McCall would hav known that when he signed so why doesnt he have a strike partner? It baffles me that people who go to games regulalrly cannae read a game of football.
  7. Higdonkey for me, the abuse he gets is a fucking disgrace, and no I have never smoked crack in my life. Its teh formation that isnt working and you can't blame that on our targetman. On the other hand, those who voted for Daley or thought that Murphy was 'dangerous' need to visit a psychiatrist.
  8. I feel as if I say this after every home game, but that was fucking dire again yesterday. 1st half I felt we were decent, but the 2nd half was atrocious. I still back McCall as overall this season has been successful thus far but if he doesnt sort out some of the fundamentals soon then we are going to slide down this league and throw away any hope of another European adventure. Personally, I'd drop Craigan, a fucking bombscare every time the ball is at his feet, and got turned by Tade as though he wasnt there. I'd play Clancy at centre-back beside Hutch and get Hateley back to right back (the only position he can effectively play in my opinion). The sooner Jenno is match fit, the better, he runs our team for us. Onto the attacking side of our 'team', where do I start? If Randy wants to square go a zoomer in the Cooper Stand for calling him a 'dick/prick' then I can only applaude Higdon for his self-control. Dont believe my avatar, I dont think he is a fantastic player but at our level he is a very good targetman/goalscorer and yesterday for me he was the best player in our side (1st half certainly), hardly lost a header and (most) of his link up play was good. Tade fucks a belter into the top bin, Higdon plays a stray pass soon after and the remedials in the East Stand start fucking screaming abuse as if they were waiting all match for a chance, it was fucking ridiculous particularly when you have the same said remedials giving Murphy, Daley and Law an easy ride. The service to Higdon, and into the box in general, was abysmal. McCall must be able to see that this formation (and use of certain players) isnt working, Law looked pretty good when 1st signed but has been honking of late, Daley is lazy and just doesnt do it for me at all and to be perfectly honest I forgot that Murphy was playing, totally wasted playing at left-midfield. p.s. the referee had a dreadful match, its nothing new to see Higdon get nothing from officials but at times I thought the Caley players were given permission to use their hands/arms to control the ball p.p.s. what has happened to the Wellboys/ultras/choir (or whatever their called these days), start of the season they brought a bit of colour and noise to Fir Park but have been posted missing for a while now and got outsung by a bus-load from Inverness p.p.p.s. Maurice Malpas is fucking wank

    Why?

how do you work that out? Aye ok they might make the odd charitable donation these days, but they were set-up to solely help the needy of the East End, they jacked all that in pretty quickly though.
  10. Got to agree with Steelboy unfortunately, Mark Reynolds was never a left-back
  11. Yes we're through, yes we scored three goals, yes I'm delighted because I'd love another crack at Hampden and yes I'm delighted becasue a few questions were answered yesterday...... ........on these very boards there have been umpteen posters spouting pish like 'why is Forbes not playing', 'Forbes must be gutted to see Carsewell and Hughes play in front of him', 'give Page a shot Clancy is pish', give Page a shot beside Hutch, Craggs is done' etc etc, now we can put these comments to bed neither are good enough unfortunately and that is why McCall is continuing with the players who have played teh majority of the season. The biggest mystery for me is how the fuck Jim Gammon managed to make Forbes look effective and how he managed to score the goals that he did. Hateley is a right-back and Clancy is better at Centre-back Law continues to flatter to decieve in my opinion, and Jenno and Lasley are probably our two most important players. McHugh isnt a right-sided attacker and Murphy is still an enigma. Of the subs, I'd have preffered to see Lawless getting more minutes to garner some sort of opinion on him, Humphrey done well when he came on and Ojammaa (cannae quite bring myself to shout c'mon Henrik, like some of the rockets around me in the East Stand yesterday) also looked threatening although in both instances they came on when the 3rd Division amateurs were starting to tire so its difficult to gauge. Yes, delighted to get through and you can only beat what is in front of you but I think McCall will have learned a lot about his team (and squad) yesterday.
  12. I'd have taken him back if we could have afforded him. A Hutch and Reynolds partnership ticks all the 'central defensive partnership' boxes for me. Liked him whilst he was here, and he genuinely loved the Club but I hope he has a nightmare up there with the rest of the sheepshaggers.
  13. I'm totally relaxed about any of our players leaving because every one of them, I repeat, every one of them, is replaceable, I would prefer not to lose anybody and there are some that I value higher than others and not just because of their ability but because of strength in depth of each positional area. In my opinion, I'll be surprised if there are any scouts who have been impressed enough by Murphy or Law recently to open up a cheque book for their signature, but as I've said I'm completely relaxed about this transfer window and have been relaxed about players leaving since the Club managed to keep functioning after Faddy left. Hardest to replace in our current set-up would be Randy and Jenno, however I'd like to think the Ginger Mourinho has his finger on the pulse should anybody leave for pastures new.
  14. I've watched the 19s a load of times this season and the team definitely has some talented players in every position, but its difficult to tell if they are going to be able to make the step-up because the jump from 19's to the 1st team is an almighty one. I remember seeing Faddy playing for the youths and just knew he was going to be a star, one way or another, but he was a one-off, once in a generation type really. The boys in the current 19's all look 'neat and tidy', comfy on the ball, positionally aware but none of them has that outstanding talent in my opinion. I expect a few (Hetherington, Angol, Hermann, Watt, Moore and Devlin) to be retained and progressed to 'reserve' level.
  15. Another null vote from me (Rangers game as well), thought the majority of our team were pish to be honest and there was a spell in the 2nd half that was embarrassing to watch as QP dominated us - if they could have finished their dinner it could have got very nervy for us. Good to see Murphy scoring 2 but I still think he struggled for most of the match. I'd said before the match that I'd like to see Pafe, Forbes, McHugh and other fringemen get gametime but after that yesterday I think the writing may be on the wall for the lads mentioned although I'll cut McHugh slack for being stuck out on the right for a fair whack of the game but Forbes and Page were very poor and I will be surprised if either are still on the books next season. Special mention for QP's 'number 4' thought he was their stand-out player over the 90mins and think he could/should play at a higher level.
  16. Jesus what a question that is, akin to asking 'who would you rather pump, Annabelle Goldie or Johann Lamont?' They are baith howling and so are O'Brien and Spazzers mate. As for Sutton or Higdon? Higdon every day of the week, Sutton took 2 seasons to really become a 1st pick but some people seem to think he was a modern day Ian St John the way they are lusting after him and massaging their throbbers at the prospect (or not as the case is likey to be) of him coming back. Higdon is our player, has scored 9 goals so far which is a decent return (not fantastic, decent) and is playing in a style that is not suited to him in my opinion. He needs a strike partner and then we'll see the best of him.......
  17. Charging a tenner for the bus shelter? Should get paid danger money in there for the amount of times that pish (opposition ) full-backs and centre-halfs fuck wayward clearances in there.
  18. Should be a skoosh case, and if we struggle in this at all then it will be a disgrace. I'd like to see us score a few goals and get the boys motoring again, but I'd also like to see some of the fringe players get a run out as well, because as Steelboy alluded to some of them are entering a phase of their career where it really could be 'win or bust' time. Randolph Clancy Page Hutch Hammell Jennings Forbes Humphrey Lawless McHugh Murphy Pollok, Carswell and Ojamaa to all get a reasonable amount of gametime
  19. Null vote. A pathetic excuse for a 90minute workout from our lot.
  20. Well that was fucking shite. Terrible defending for the goal, but we are playing far too deep and inviting these useless hunfucks onto us, the midfield has been non-existant and I forgot Hateley was playing unti we got two corners near the end of the half. we should be looking to take it to thses fuckers in the 2nd half...... as for the commentators.....
  21. Usually have zero intention of going to Ibrox or the Piggery, for a whole host of reasons. Considering ending my self imposed ban for this one though just for the fact that I never got to see a game yesterday. Don't hold out much hope though
