  1. That was me trying to be politically correct as well
  2. The squad didnt seem to be doing anything too strenuous, looked like possession work and various drills
  3. He looked as though he could cross the road though
  4. We had a coloured chap going by the name of Omar at training today .
  5. agree with this, we just need to get bodies in now. In my opinion we have got one of the best starting XI in the league, the problem comes when we get one or two injuries and we need to be able to look at the bench and not shite ourselves because its filled with inexperience
  6. anybody got any links to watch the game?
  7. What? other than the Utd coach losing it with the referee? Some decent performances, McHugh and Smith worked well together, Lawless and Pollock were decent too but as Fringes says McKinnon was the stand-out at right-back and then centre-half.
  8. Good day for it as well - I'll be there.
  9. Hopefully the manager doesnt have the same attitude as this drivel. Yes we are top of the league, yes we are playing well BUT there are areas for improvement and I'm pretty certain that the Ginger One will agree.
  10. smashing result today, although I felt that we gave Hearts far too much respect in the 1st half, we stood off them too much and allowed them a lot of ball posession. They are mince (although they are missing three or four decent players) and I couldnt work out what formation they were going to play after hearing their line-up - we will dominate most midfields over the course of the season with Lasley and Jenno and we should have been all over Hammill and Black because the two of them are stinking individually and collectively. The boy McGowan at right back and Grainger at left back are both howling too. I think McCall probably gave the team a rocket at half-time because we took it to them from the word 'go' and in my opinion we would have beaten then with or without that wee mongo Black. Goal aside, I was disappointed with Murphy, tried too much at times and just looked slightly out of sorts, keep it up until the 1st of September Jamie and then get back to what we know you can do . Higdon will get goals in this team, I'm convinced of it. Some of his knock-ons, flicks and hold up play was brilliant but he needs to do more work in the box. Humphrey, is frustrating me more an more each time I watch him, he needs to understand what he is good at in my opinion, and that is getting the ball down, knocking it by the full back and jogging by him as if he isnt there, but for whatever reason (possibly the strapping on his legs is a pointer) he seems reluctant to do that. He isnt effective trying to play as a tricky winger, and he really needs to sort his crossing out. Jenno and Lasley played to their usual high standards throughout the match. Yet another clean sheet, well done to Randy and the defence. As for Hearts? I said to my mate on the way to the game, that I have no idea how anybody can support that Club anymore, with all the off-field shenanigans, managerial comings and goings, paedo-harbouring, etc ad infinitum..............add to that there horrific brand of fitba' - hatchetmen all over the park, diving about all over the place, constantly playing the ball back to Kello, slowing the tempo of the match down to a stroll in the 1st half - their main aim of the game was to stop us playing . Spurs will fuck them up and down the place. ........and the referee? Mr O'Reilly is an utterly incompetent idiot, and he gets a grand a game. Something isnt right with that one.
  11. should have read 'leave the defence, unless Big Hutch is fit'
  12. Its clear that The Ginger One has no real confidence in the boys that are on the bench, considering that he left it until the 90th minute today to make a sub and never made any changes at Killie last week. I've been saying it for weeks, we have a starting XI that will give anybody in this league a run for their money (roll on the visit of the h**s in a fortnight!!!) but the lack of depth is a real worry in my opinion. We need bodies in asap to help the boys that are no doubt going to be expected to start week-in, week-out this season.
  13. Lasley for me, he was fucking brilliant. Pity about the 2nd yellow, but by then I'd already decided he was the top man.
  14. East Stand seemed a lot busier today and I thought the overall atmosphere was better than usual
  15. never heard any negativity at the way we played today, I'd have beeling if I was a Hears fan though - they were fucking garbage, and seemed intent on giving Kello as many touches as possible.
  16. Forbes, Carswell or Page to start in midfield. Leave the defence as it is in my opinion
  17. Wilson has played a reasonable amount for Liverpool over pre-season and the boy Pearce is absolutely howling from what I've heard.
  18. any idea when the reserves or 19's are playing again. Work is deid at the moment and might be able to pop along
  19. I hate Craig Levein with a burning passion, he has made so many mistakes in his current job - a job he should never have been near in the 1st place - yet he gets an incredibly easy ride from the media. Hated the bastard, when he was a player, hated the bastard when he was Hearts manager, hated the bastard when he was Utd manager and I hate the wank even more now that he has managed to turn me off from going to Scotland games. BUT, I still dont think that Murphy is the answer for Scotland, love watching him play for the 'well but he needs to be much more consistent and perform in the big games before he will be up to International football. As for Forrest being called up?
  20. It would cost MFC next to nothing to return the East stand to a standing section.
  21. yes. As if we would abuse someone like that if it wasnt true
  22. With just over two weeks to go to the start of the new season, it would be nice to know how the much heralded new season ticket schemes have been doing sales wise. If we can't attract more season ticket holders this year, given the success we had on the park last season added to the incentive schemes then we probably never will increase our attendances. Anybody any info?
  23. ur a cock if you bother about what some stinking beggar thinks of Motherwell FC. I'd take Novo as long as it wasnt blowing our budget.
