  1. Dont understand this at all..........I'm going to leave my moaning at that though
  2. It is from what I've been told, but we cannae announce it until 1st of July for some reason.
  3. The tartan Tories patter died out quite some time ago....
  4. hope you are right and I've got a feeling that you are
  5. Eh, because I bought last seasons strip for my two wee yins last pre-season, now I'll need to buy this seasons for my two wee yins this season as they wont want to kick about in last seasons gear. It'll cost me about £80 to kit the two of them out, when there is fuck all wrong with the strip that they currently have. And please dont anybody say 'well sometimes you need to say 'no' to weans' because I say no to them a load of times, but in brainwashing them into following MFC i have made a rod for my own back.
  6. I agree, its fucking ridiculous. Every year, its either a new strip or new sponsor - beyond a joke.
  7. Just been told this is a load of pish, thankfully.
  8. Haha, I've not booed anybody in a Motherwell strip since Andy Roddie left. Paul Slane will get bothe barrels if he comes back to Fir Park
  9. Anyone know how many we have sold, and how that compares to a similar stage last pre-season?
  10. Taking a slightly different look at the season ticket; £300 for two kids and an adult for teh Cooper equates to £15 per match based on your 20games per season. Taking those same two kids to a Saturday mid-afternoon film would cost £5.55 per child and £7.50 for the adult resulting in a total price of £18.60 for your Saturday afternoon viewing, multiplied by 20 is £372 for your seaosn of entertainment. If you are a father of 2 (actually 3 but the fitba' isnae a lassies game) the season ticket on offer this season is most definitely value for money, and thats before you factor in the possible savings to be had through the various discounts on offer in conjunction with the season ticket. Accies are in a totally different situation to us, hence the ultra-low cost of the season book. My mate in work is a Falkirk fan and is paying £320 for his book this season with no additionals on it, granted its a good seat but that is a rip off.
  11. The game will be pish of the highest order, I've been to plenty of meaningless home friendlies over the years and I have learned my lesson, I doubt I'll be at another one anytime soon unless its for a real glamour tie. I can wait another week until the real stuff starts to see the Club that I love. Away friendlies are an entirely different kettle of fish though.
  12. I get in for hee-haw at NDP and I can safely say that if I was an Accies fan I wouldnt have enjoyed a single match I went to last season. Quite looking forward to watching them in the 1st division next season when I cannae make the 'well game for whatever reason.
  13. They will eventually, if the dwindling circulation is anything to go by. Every year they trot out the same story about Motherwell allowing cons to work at FP, rightly or wrongly its an initiative used to re-acclimatise offendors into the real world before their official release, Motherwell happen to be part of the initiative.
  14. fucking raging about playing on Christmas Eve, I have fucking no chance of getting to that one. Always look forward to the boxing day fixture too .
  15. he's playing at his level, kicking about with Brechin and Peterhead
  16. what the fuck can be so hard about cutting and rolling a rectangular field of grass?
  17. My thoughts exactly. Enjoy watching the Premiership and La Liga and have a soft spot for a couple of teams but I couldnt care two fucks if they win their leagues or not. I generally like to see any team with a (current) Scottish influence do well.
  18. Think its a 16% discount on a full leisure pass. The club must be commended on their prices and external discounts involved in my opinion, I reckon you will be struggling to find a better deal elsewhere in the top flight. Hopefully plenty take up the offer and we see more folk through the gate next season.
  19. The lack of continuity in the managerial hotseat could also be a factor. Moyes obviously trusted Gannon with his youngsters, Fat Sam was the Auld Bastards pal as well. Its the old adage, 'its who you know'.
  20. They are still being held at the moment. Went over today to get my tickets and the wummin in the office couldnt have been more helpful, although I reckon the office could be doing with a computer upgrade judging by how slow it was going.
  21. I never said we'd be fucked. What I meant to say was, if there arent enough takers for this Community Ownership then the idea itself will be fucked. Unless I'm totally missing something?
  22. Exactly, we should shut this board down from the end of the season until the saturday before the season starts that way we wouldnt have all this greeting and wailing about lack of signings. We never sign anybody early and I was surprised to say the least to see Higdon sign for us so early in the close season
  23. I agree with this as well, but it will be fucked if there arent enough 'well fans (which I dont think there will be) willing to take up the 'offer'.
  24. Not at all, English bastards is exactly what they are . Don't really get all this fawning over Leeds United (or any other English Club) from Motherwell fans, can understand having a passing interest in a certain club, but this collective :wank: is a bit embarassing, particularly given the fact that Leeds United are in actual fact pish.
