  1. I'll be there, but there are a load of reasons that make this game unattractive to people. Cannae blame anybody who doesnt want to travel to Dundee on a Sunday morning for a 1pm kick-off.
  2. Maybe he has something else that he does on a Sunday?? Maybe a Sunday is the only day his Mrs will let him near her, Work, playing football, c**t of a hangover from a planned Saturday night out, church or chapel, or a million other reasons!! Those that run Football better realise quick that the constant tinkering with when we play our football matches is going to drive more fans away from teh game altogether.
  3. I'm sure the clubs will get together and sort out reasonable admission prices out for this 1, I'm going but when you weigh up the costs involved you do sometimes question your own sanity particularly when it is on TV - would I be better off just watching it in the pub and spend £20/30 on beer or even cheaper still buy a £10 carry-out and watch it in the comfort of your own home vs the £20 admission, your supporters bus/train fare AND your bevvy money!! As I said, I'm sure the clubs will sort out something on the admission prices for the fans although I dont think we should expect the club to run supporters buses on our behalf.
  4. If you want. I'm one of the less-greeting-faced on this forum. An eternal optimist me
  5. Just you stick to clearing Shagger Sheridans good name
  6. Welcome to Steelmen Online Franny (if your reading this(which you most probaly aren't)), a haven for moaning-faced, never-to-be-pleased, cock-sockets. A no lose situation for Motherwell and Stuart McCall. A short-term contract, if the boy is honking he'll be out the door and McCall will bring someone else in the Summer when he has a better chance of working the transfer market, if he scores a couple of goals we might give him another year. The moaning-faced fuckers need to chill the fuck out
  7. The Malpas season was easily the worst season we have had in recent years, this team aint going the same way as the one under that useless fucker. Mo, Mo, Mo Nobody likes ye, Nobody likes ye
  8. Talk of relegation is mental, no matter what the bookies are offering it would be a quid down the swanny
  9. While possibly not to the letter of the law, that fucker Hay deserved the red card for the cynicism of the trip alone. Humph was way past him and he just put him up in the air.
  10. I'd give him a contract to the end of the season, if only to give us another option. We'll get nowhere with 2 recognised 1st team strikers on the books for the remainder of the campaign. From what I hear, he's at Fir Park right now.........
  11. From what I heard last night, there is next to no chance of him staying.
  12. Some amount of moaning fuckers on here. I thought we were excellent last night, and if we continue to play we did last night and on Sunday we'll win more games than we'll lose. We had a real balance about the team last night, with Jones pretty effective on teh left over the course of the 90mins, and although Humph was pretty quiet on the right, you could see that he was a real worry for the Killie defence in teh way that they were doubling up on him. Murphy is infuriating - all the talent in the world, but lacks that self-belief at times and really needs to bulk up or he'll never realise his potential. The pitch last night never really helped him when he was up against Sissoko. Casagolda for me the jury is still out, thought he had a couple of decent lay-offs and 1 or 2 half chances, but watching him without the ball at times it looked as if he didnt know what to do. Play him against Stranraer and let him see if he can get a goal or two. Jennings and Lasley were immense all match, and it'll be a shame if this partnership is broken up in the Summer as we were far less effective in this area when Hateley came in there. Eremenko was non-existant, and that boy from Milan was stinking. The defence was pretty solid and I thought that Hammell and Saunders were excellent both at the back and when trying to join the attack. Hutch and Craigan played OK, but my heart was in my mouth everytime Craggs had the ball at his feet. What was up with Randys kicking last night? All-in-all I thought we deserved a lot more from the match than the fuck-all that we got and Killie got lucky with their breakaway goal. Bottom line is though, we failed to take the many chances and free-kicks around the box that we had.
  13. Steve Jennings by a country mile, fantastic player that i would love to see sign on for at least another season.
  14. Watched Killie at the weekend against that junior team from Hamilton, they dominated the 1st 30minutes or so and created a good deal of half chances although not many clear-cut yins, after that Hammill got sent off (unfairly I may add) and Accies tweaked their formation/line-up and the game was much more even with both teams having plenty of opportunities to score. Sammon had a very good game and its a bonus that he has left but I wouldnt say they are 1 man team, Taouil had a good game, Bell is a solid enough keeper, the centre midfield looked pretty mobile (the boy fae Milan came on and was anonymous though) and Eremenko is still to come back, but I would say that left-back is definitely the weak-link and hopefully Humph can get the better of Hay over the 90mins the night and I reckon that Sutton on his game should get the better of Wright. Hopefully the conditions improve as it is pishing down here and is as windy as fuck at the moment, and with the nick of our park it could make for a poor game. But I'll go for 2-0 'well, both scored by Murphy.
  15. Not saying that there isnt a rumour flying about, what I am saying is that the rumour is a pile of shite
  16. Danny Invincible is fucking atrocious
  17. Grella will be on about 4k a week while Skippy will be upwards of 15k as he was signed as a 1st teamer from the OF. I highly doubt that Skippy will be signing for anybody in Scotland anytime soon, unless Wanker Lennon decides that he needs another striker.
  18. actually, looking at the two teams (with McCart instead of Philliben and Davies instead of Dolan) I wouldnt swap any of the earlier team for any of the players in the 2007/2008 team. Maybe I'm getting old and thinking that the old days were better, but would Craigan get a game ahead of Buff, McCart or Mio, no chance would Hammell get in before McKinnon. Buzz over Sieb ?, Hughes was good but Davies, Lambert and O'Donnell were undoubtedly better and more consistent, while up front Dougie and TC up front anyday of the week over Porter and Clarky.
  19. I know what you meant Steelboy, dont think Shotts Well fan did though.
  20. Pretty sure the 1993/94 team would have done the 2007/2008 team quite easily. Maybe I'm wrong here but would McCart and Davies not have been more integral to that team than Philliben and Dolan? Shannon was probably the weak link of the earlier team but I'm not convinced that Quinn would have done a better job particularly as it was a wing-bcak role rather than a full-back.
  21. why dont we just see if we can get Robbie Keane to sign for us instead of West Ham on loan?
  22. They are nae where near finished either, the roadworks will be there for months to come fortunately enough for me .
