  1. Possibly. But Gow's performances (particularly against Accies) will be ingrained on my mind for life . There have been hundreds of minging players over the years at The Club, minging players dont bother me so much, its minging players that think they are shit-hot or some of our fans think have some magical hidden ability that do my tits right in.
  2. I'd take John Davies the now over Alan Gow. Seriously.
  3. Gow? Gifted? I dont know what you think he was gifted with but it certainly wasnt footballing ability. He's been bombed out of Rangers, Plymouth and Hibs for a reason and that reason is that he is fucking diabolical. He may look fancy at times and that obviously manages to fool some folk into thinking that he has 'ability'. A useless, shitebag of the highest order
  4. Oh please let that be true, a bigger imposter I have never seen on a football pitch in my life. Fucking woeful excuse for a pro footballer!!
  5. Some may agree with the proposals. Whats worrying about that? I can see huge flaws in both the 10 team league and also the 16 team proposal but I am not totally against/for either of them as they both have real negatives be that financial or entertainment-wise. As someone else mentioned earlier, I wouldnt be surprised to see the status quo for the forseeable future and this ten team league proposal has been an elaborate scheme all along.
  6. I must say I looked very official when I seen myself on BBC Alba on Saturday night.
  7. Gow is nothing short of abysmal, and I'll be delighted if/when Middle-shed McCall gets him to fuck.
  8. Shouted his name (Owen) after being told to by the match announcer into the mic and then 'Mon the 'well' then gave a wee wave Then gave the Accies fans the thumbs down on the way off the park. Basically he done as he was told
  9. Wee boy was the 'well match mascot and loved his day (90 pish minutes apart) and loved the reception he got off the travelling support.
  10. I reckon 1500 well fans is a decent support to be taking over there on NYD
  11. Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  12. Wouldnt have been my 1st choice and I was surprised that he got it, but we've got to be fair to the guy and give him the same support that has been afforded to our most recent managers at the start of their tenures. Good luck Stuart McCall, hopefully you're in it for the long haul!!!!!!
  13. Big Jim and Mongo Hibs fans isnae a great mix when talking footy rumours though
  14. John Hartson He is an arse of a man, who seems to throw his hat into the ring for any managerial job going.
  15. I stood in the East Stand, 2nd section from the end towards the South Stand, last night and was bored out of my coupon. That end of the ground has in recent years been the only area of Fir Park with any sort of vocal backing for the players and in years gone by was always full. Last night, I arrived 5mins before kick-off and the place was empty and it never got much busier after kick-off. Their are a million reasons for why people are turning away from fitba'. Price - People just can't afford £20+ to go to Fir Park anymore Quality - it was fucking terrible to watch last night and has been countless times this season regardless of our league position Treatment - stewards are, by and large, clowns. The all-seater rule being abolished would also be a positive step. Atmosphere - when I was 1st starting to go to the games teh atmosphere at Fir Park was far better than it is just now, the only time we got behind the team last night was when the referee was acting like a tadger and even then it was negative chants (against the ref rather than positive ones to the team/players). Maybe I am being nostalgic about the atmosphere of old though? Referees - that guy was an incompetent buffoon last night and teh fact that he isnt alone makes people turn off, whether or not his penalty decision was correct (I think it was rather soft myself) he got so much else wrong it was unreal - turning his back on a fk being taken, a fk given to Hearts because Jenno shouted at/'man-handled' him, his decision to send Jenno off, his general 'look-at-me-I'm-in-charge-of-this-gig' attitude, allowing Kyle to get away with what Kyle generally does get away with (including no booking for attempting to incite the 'well fans after scoring their dubious penalty), the failure to deal with Hearts diving (Templeman being worst offendor. I think we all realise that without refs we wont have a game but I reckon referees need to realise that they can't/shouldnt be centre of attention and that their insistence to be just that is having a negative effect on fans attitudes towards Scottish fitba' as a whole. Opposition teams - I woudl suggest that we are a reasonably good team to watch and generally try to play the ball on the deck and with width (although last night we did play too many high balls) but this season I've despaired at the set-up of many of the team in teh league. Hearts, Dundee United, Accies, Aberdeen have all coem to Fir Park this season with the intention of stopping us play 'good football' rather than look to play a similar style themselves, which in turn would create a good spectical. I understand that teams play with different tactics depending on who they play and I understand that managers have to play to their strengths but teams like Hearts are having a negative effect on the quality of the product that at the end of the day the SPL are trying to sell. I can safely say that the Hearts team last night bullied us, and they were one of the biggest teams that I can remember seeing. I want to see good football, played on the deck and not lumped up to a big mutant liek Kevin Kyle. Lack of Stability - this constant search for a manager is doing my fucking nut in, I want to see a manager come in and be with us for the long-haul and I'm sure that the lack of a 'permanent' manager will have a negative effect on not only our players but also our fan-base. If the man at the helm is constantly changing then what the fuck is the point? SPL - this 'new' idea of going back to ten team league will drive more fans away also, I want radical change, I want to see a 16 team league, Summer Fitba play each other twice, have play-offs, not going back to a ten team league that was awful the last time. So yes, I am scunnered not only with MFC but Scottish Fitba' as a whole, the SPL, the SFA and that bastard Craig Levein. Why do I still go, week-in week-out? Loyalty - the reason that I am still going week-in-week-out is that I feel loyal to MY club, I would hate to see MFC in financial difficulties and its sort of ingrained in me to get along to FP at every opportunity. Out of a crowd of about ten of us, who went every week there were only 2 of us there last night, and he only went because I had a spare season ticket. My weans - I am so cheesed off at the product that I am paying for just now that I am convinced that I wouldnt have a season ticket, if it wasnt for the fact that I have two sons that I am desperate to keep away from following 95% of the population in Bellshill and following Rangers or Celtic that I will continue to buy season tickets for them until they are old enough to buy them themselves. When you look at the positives versus the negatives, it doesnt surprise me in the slightest that there were only 3300 at FP last night.

    Hearts

Alan Gow? Fuck me gently!! Fucking atrocious player, that played a good ball through to Lasley for the goal. Other than that he was stinking.
  17. Stevie Clarke or Jimmy Calderwood = no brainer!! The contacts that Clarke will have in the game will be 2nd to none and from what I have heard he is seriously interested in the job. Get him in JB!!
  18. Bill Leckie is a wanker of the highest order
  19. I reckon the bookies just have a generic 'Diddy team managerial vanacies' list and throw in the odd club legend ie Mio and Gary Mac . I mean com on to fuck Ian McCall and Big Fat John? I doubt Jim Gannon was on any bookies list at the start of the hunt for the paedos replacement. JB will pull another name from left-field I'm sure.
  20. Phil Brown put his hat into the ring for the Dons job because he reckons they are a big club, if he ever got the chance speak with Miller/Milne he'd have run a mile. There is not a hope in hell that he will be the next MFC manager.
  21. Chisholm and Dodds? Some c**t is taking the piss somewhere surely? That would be a helluva hard one for the 'well support to take!! If we want an interim manger, either make that Youngy or ask TomTom to bail us out for a few months. I stated somewhere else that we need to be swift, but appointing they two would smack of desperation. As for some of the names being banded about on here? Get real!! Hughton, Phil Brown? Why not go the whole hog and see if we can tempt Martin Jol to come over? As for Collins and the clamour for him to be quoted for the job? Really dont understand the thinking behind that one at all.
  22. Disgusted with that auld coffin dodgers behaviour. I had total respect for the man but all of that has been lost over the past 3 days or so - maybe I'm gullible but I genuinely believed the man and most of his words. Hope he has a torrid time at that wankstain of a football club, and takes them to their deserved relegation (Mon the Accies). We should also be taking AFC all the way on their conduct over the past few days as well, they have behaved totally inappropriately. Motherwell and John Boyle will think outside the box as per usual when it comes to appointing (yet) another new manager and I trust JB to make the right call but we must be swift as we need to ensure Blackman, Jennings and Reynolds (Gow, as someone else said earlier can start walking to Pittodrie just now for all I care about him) are dealt with properly over the January transfer window. Please stay clear of the paedophile and his bastard mate, JB. What we need to do is ensure that we get someone in place who will be in it for the 'long haul' as this continual managerial vacancy once a season is getting right on my tits and can only be bad for the players also. One other thing, for those that are travelling to Pittodrie on the 18th, please don't sing the 'Paedo song' to Broon, thats McGhoo's song. Lets think of something unique fot the old wank and something that will get under his skin
  23. what the fuck is this pish all about. Hope he disnae go, but regardless what happens, as others have said, the Club will go on as always and I'd trust JB to get another decent appointment in place without going down the Gus McPherson/Jimmy Calderwood/Jocy Scott etc route. Just wish to fuck they would hurry up and sort this oot
  24. I've got a works do on the 18th, but if that Broon moves to the sheep I;ll be at Pittodrie to abuse the silly old c**t
