Both strips are cracking and I hope to buy both my boys the home strip and I might push the boat out and buy the away strip for masel'. I dont claim to be a goalkeeping expert but if he is only 6ft and 11stone he will have a pretty tough time in the aerial battles that ensue on a weekly basis in the SPL against big daft forwards like Kyle or centre-backs like Kenneth and Dods. I dont think there is much point in discussing this anyway as Shagger Broon has virtually said that Hollis will be back-up to A.N. Other, and that Fraser is likely to be on his way out the door.

The fact that he's not a regular for a shite, shite team like Airdrie is a major worry. I wouldnt be confident taking their number1 keeper as back-up let alone their back-up keeper as back-up considering that they have just spent the last 3 years dodging (and ultimately failing to dodge) relegation in the 1st Division. Goalkeeper is a vital position at any football club and we can't afford to go into next season with Fraser and Hollis as our only names in that position. The fact that he is only 6ft and 11stone is also a bit worrying for me as well.

Don't worry, it'll be back all lovely and sandy by mid-October.

The difference is that Ruddy played the majority of the season, had umpteen clean sheets and played poorly in a vast minority of games. Fraser played in a minority of games and the majority of those he was flapping about like a m***o.

Correct, of course he knows far more about fitba' than any of us on here, and yes of course I hope that Fraser plays amazingly well if he's tasked with being the Club No.1. But I dont think Fraser has got what it takes as some of his performances last season were nothing short of woeful and I am pretty certain that Shagger Broon will think the same.
