  1. He's very average at the very best and at 34 years of age he isnt exactly the type of name that I like to see us linked with. As other have said; its a load of pish.
  2. Think what he may be getting at is, has he had the 5 years schooling in Scotland that Andy Driver never had??
  3. I mentioned this to my mate on Saturday. If Rangers were really on the ball they would sell McGregor for whatever they could get, potentially £5million-ish and buy Ruddy from Everton for a (very) small fraction of that. Obviously hope they arent on the ball though.

    John Ruddy

Easily the best goalkeeper we've had in my time as a 'well fan (early 80's). Would love to be able to keep him but dont see it happening unfortunately. Seib was prone to the odd howler, while Ruddy never seems to give us any 'heart-attack' moments.
  5. Country for me, love MFC to bits and I would truly love to see us win a trophy again, but the galvanising effect the National team can have on the full country makes me opt for Scotland over Motherwell, although the SFA and their daft decisions makes it more and more difficult to throw my weight behind the team.
  6. I voted yes, on the basis that I like a pint or two. However, I reckon its probably a bad idea, particularly at Fir Park, where we just dont have the facilities to make it work properly. I was at the Derby-Preston game on tuesday night and spent half my time in the concourse watching the game on the TV because they were selling beer. The beer was decent and certainly cold enough and was reasonably priced at £3.25 a pint. There was no hint of trouble before during or after the game, except when I got a few funny looks for screaming abuse at Pearo. I usually look on the 90minutes of action as a 'break' from the bevvy, so personally for me I reckon it would be better to keep it away from the game.
  7. The Club will do fuck all about this article, or the fucking useless decision that the article is about. Gannon didnt seem to get any backing from the Club and they will probably think that it is more hassle than its worth to go down the route of a formal complaint.
  8. i hope we dont make it..........I dont think my credit card could handle another European tour.
  9. Thats the thing, his split-secong lasted 2 or 3 seconds after the ball hit the net. I glance at the linesman before I started to celebrate (because I thought it was marginal from my vantage point in the back row of the East Stand in the section closest to the hnus) and his flag was down. No getting away from this one, it was either incompetence or cheating.
  10. Do you not think that the fact that there were massive tractor marks across the middle of the park would suggest that the grounsmen dont have a clue? Whether teh tractor marks have any great bearing on the overall pitch is inconclusive but it is a helluva clue to leave for people to jump to conclusions about how they are actually looking after the pitch in general???
  11. I spoke to Hateley (mark) at ibrox before our humiliation there just before Christmas. He said he would support the team his boy was playing in before any other team. I'm sure the big d1ckhead was delighted for Tom and Motherwell last night.
  12. How the fuck did he not secure a deal with Accies? He's been an excellent signing for us.
  13. MJC you talk pish!! That was as blatant a case as you'll ever see of an official wanting to help the Old Firm.
  14. You are talking shite though. Reynolds is far from murder. Terrible decision last night, and he can be susceptible to the odd lapse in concentration but I would rate him as one of the better defenders in the whole league. For some reason, you seem to get a kick out of slating him..........has the ginger ninja had a go at your burd or something
  15. Considering he was a country-mile onside, why the fuck would he not put the ball in?
  16. I've yet to see a Junior team play good football let alone an amateur one. Entertaining definitely, but good? no.
  17. Even only 500 at 22quid would give you £11,000 before the horrible bastards put their hand in their pocket for a pie/programme etc.
  18. That diddy Hendry would probably miss the coin slot on a puggy
  19. Shivute - How anybody thought he was good was always a mystery to me, he was (how can I put this) 'exotic' at the time but was an absolutely horrendous player but for some reason the fans took to him
  20. so fucking many........... Paul Harvey John Davies Tony Thomas Kai Nysonnen Johnni Lehtonen Andy Smith Gary Bollan Gerry Britton Andy fucking Roddie Kevin Christie Greg Miller Eliphas Shivute (and aye, he was pish before anybody tries to defend him - fucking murder) Ange Ouefio Stephen Halliday John Hendry
  21. swap the Daily Express for the Daily Star and then you'll realise that this story is made up
  22. It would be far easier to replace a good centre-forward than a good goalkeeper.
  23. The 'steak' pie I had at Inverness last week (yes, I was one of the 200 souls that could be bothered) was the worst pie I have ever endured in all my time as a football fan.
