Every meaningful goal scored against the Old Firm is celebrated with equal vigour, just dont get as excited scoring a goal against anybody else.

A few cracking performances, most notably the two youngsters at the back. Saunders and Hutchison have signed long-term deals and that can only augur well for the future as it looks as if Reynolds is offski at Christmas and Craigan is well passed his best. These two strolled the game, albeit against as bad a Hearts team that I can remember, but I reckon Hutch just took MOTM, as he put in a few timely tackles and stood upto the physical presence of that Cruiserweight they play up front. Ruddy was hardly tested, but did well with what he had to do and his distribution was excellent. Thought Yass was great going forward, O'Brien had a good game also (how was that not a penalty?), as did Reynolds, Coke was OK, Hately keeps proving to be a great find, Forbes was off the pace and I worry that (goals apart) he doesnt have what it takes to cut the SPL as he seems a yard slow and lightweight. Our strikers are THE major worry though, just not enough goalscorers I never believed that either Sutton or the Duke were going to grab us a goal yesterday. All-in-all, a good performance tempered by how poor Hertz are.

Never had the pleasure, unfortunately. But my wee boy was the mascot against Hivs 2 seasons ago, we 1-0 Clarkson scored in the 1st couple of mins if I remember right. The thing I remember most is the wee man running away with the ball when the captains were tossing the coin for centre and Wan-eye Shiels chasing after him .

Ruddy is on 8k a week with Everton so I dont see him staying after this season is up although I'd love to be wrong as he is what we have been needing for years, hopefully Tim Gammon will already have his eyes on a long-term replacement. Not been too impressed by the Duke and think there must be a more mobile option out there somewhere. Although he is more acceptable than Sutton (the most immobile player in the SPL) in my opinion. Yassin is unbelievably frustrating, beats men with ease, gets in to great positions and then 9 times out of 10 delivers a hellish cross - but I'd love to keep him if only to see how the gaffer can improve the crossing because other than that he is a class act.

My man of the match yesterday and we've missed him when he's been out, surely Crags time is up with him and Saunders coasting against the Jambos yesterday. He sounds as if he is a level-headed boy as well, but am I missing something with the Scotland 'possibility'?

4 of us going on Tuesday that werent there on Saturday. Cup games always get bigger 'well supports and the prices should help as well.

I was there and I was blootered - for a change. Every shot they hit , went in the net.

The only game I've missed this season was Flamurtari away and I would have kept that run going if we had been playing anybody but they manky bastards (or their fcuk-up neighbours). I havent been to the potato bowl to watch Motherwell since Kevin Twaddle scored in a 1-0 victory and it would have to be exceptional circumstances to get me to give the gypo bastards money again. £25 to sit behind a pole, listen to their nonsense (from fans and over the tannoy) and have to endure the stewards who give ours a run for there money in the arsehole stakes. Just find it difficult to part with cash that is going into their biscuit tin - and finding its way into Aiden McGeadys pocket. In that time I've been to Ibrox twice, through corporate at work (once) and in McGhees 1st season in charge (once) and can't say that I enjoyed the experience either time even though we got a draw after Brian Kerr scored a screamer and I was in the Main Stand sitting on my hands - but at least you can see the full bloody pitch there. Reckon I'll watch it on Polestar or what ever the fcuk its on, at that well known local establishment.

The East Stand was wild that day. Seeing random Celtic fans getting punched about the place was priceless. Actually had one in a headlock with me jumping up and down when we went 2-1 up as he was trying to leave the ground

the paper reporting that he has signed a new 3yr deal with Plastic Whistle

I would take points over performances every day of the week, but the problem with trying to grind out results is that a) we will get caught out on occassion as we nearly did today, or against better teams and b) it wont attract any new fans through the door, playing like we did today. In fairness though, Gannon has said many times that he wants his teams to play good attacking football, so I really see this team as a work in progress.

That was poor stuff, although I thought we were going to tear them to ribbons after the 1st 25mins. I'm just a wee bit concerned that the guys who looked class over the 1st few matches, Coke and Forbes in particular, have hit a poor run of form at exactly the same time. Think we have the basis of a right good wee team (more attcking options needed though). As for criticising the team on forums when they are 3rd in the league, I reckon it is fair game as long as it is constructive and realistic. We were pish today and I see no reason for beating about the bush - a half-decent team would probably have beaten us today. Next 4 games, all away, will tell us a lot more about this squad.

Hammell easily the best player on the park, thought Yass and Humph were excellent in the 1st 25mins but faded badly. Hammell has come onto a good bit of form over the last few weeks, good to see.

Based on the performances today, last saturday and against ICT + the fact that we have been lacklustre in a few of the other matches where we have won or drawn, I reckon we are kidding ourselves on if we think we can finish 3rd (or 4th).

Mark Hately on the pitch at half-time? What the fuck was that all about and did they expect any other reaction from the 'well fans. His boy may be a real find for us this season, but doesnt take away from the fact that he was, is and always will be a total wank. On the game, totally lacklustre and I could have gret when it went into extra-time. Bored out my skull doesnt describe it. Hopefully we'll be more 'up' for Hivs on Saturday. Forbes will be attracting big clubs just shortly if he keeps scoring goals as frequently as this, didnt play overly well last night but a goal-scoring midfielder always attracts attention. Enjoy his goals while he is here I think. Lukas, held onto the ball too long at times, but I've got every confidence that he'll come good. Can't see the comparisons with Elliott and Silliname Sheridan. As for the stewards (and polis) at the South End of the East Stand. What the fuck was that all about last night, totally out of order in my opinion. Nae need for chucking the youngsters out of the ground for standing up, when I along with the whole back row of the East Stand were allowed to stand without a problem.

My wee boy's the same. Looking for a kit (preferably the away one) for a 5yr old, he's pestering the life out of me, just hang off to his birthday now which is in 4 weeks. As Fritz says, if it changes again in the summer it'll be the shortest amount of time to get any wear out of a kit ever. Not great really, although I realise that Canterbury's problems have been the main issue.

Aye, i agree that we don't have a leg to stand on with our 'holier than thou' act. But what I would say is why is there absolutely no mention in any of the Sunday papers of the h**s, singing about f*****s that was clearly audible given the numbers who were singing, while only a fortnight ago the same papers had labelled a couple of hundred 'well fans 'sectarian' for singing (or not as was the actual case) about f*****s. The double standards are incredible, or is it being swept under the carpet for a specific reason.

Looks like Slanes the youngster that doesnt want to sign then, eh?
-
he's my mates uncle. He doesnt take too kindly to the 'night'mare patter
-
was she a good player, or did you play in the lassies team ?
-
don't start that again. Some folks knickers have just about untwisted from last Saturday.

Me and the wee man, thoroughly enjoyed the game yesterday. Our youngsters such as Hutchison, Forbes, Page and Pollock never looked out of place against the Man U youngsters.
