Cheers Buzz! Terrific result for us. Its ours to throw away now really. If we can pull off a win against celtic, 4th is a foregone conclusion! Would love to see us confirm fourth at fir park on wednesday! Excellent.
-
Our youth system is the last thing we have to worry about, its absolutely cooshtie and has been for years.
-
Was parked here all day on Saturday. Never actually noticed the barratt homes but managed to snipe the last place on the street at quarter past 2! Absolute belter. Thank you kindly.
-
Neil Lennon still thought celtic could win the title last time we played them. I see your point though, but i think its been a case of Custers last stand with celtic of late that has got them results. i dont really expect their wheels to come off, but with their fate secured in 2nd and on all firm game days after we play them, there is reason to suspect they wont be giving us their full attention. maybe we will even see an appearance from Paul Slane!.... maybe not haha.

Totally disagree, I know im generally positive... but a forum is a fine place for a grumble even if it is over something ridiculous and unfounded. That is what makes it interesting... a variety of views across the board. Negativity shows we care and have pride for our club, sometimes it is justified and mostly it probably isn't. I don't want to support a team that wins every game, is guaranteed a title, has all the money and all the best players and coasts through cup games. I want a team that experiences highs and lows in equal quantity - otherwise what would I have to talk about over my pint in the pub or on this forum! By going to the games and giving the players your full support while you are there and spending money on the club you show ample support - a wee dig at a few aspects of the club/players/admin (whatever) on a forum, is a perfectly adequate place for it. It is also no doubt a useful tool for the club, they can see some of the more radical views without any offence having been caused. Its our rollercoaster - we are entitled to moan if it makes us feel sick - we are entitled to give praise if it bring us elation. I do agree though that while actually at the game our players could recieve more support in fir park (I havent noticed a problem at away games). Slagging a player if they are having a stinker is doing us no favours. Why some fans feel the need to address some of our lads directly while they are trying to do their job I will never understand, YOU ARE DISTRACTING THEM! LEAVE THEM TO IT! Sing our songs and roar c'mon the well! But no one need to hear "fuck sake o'brien that was pish" or "move your arse forbes"

I hope the news is 3year deals for jeggings, job, coke, roody and the duke, PSV making a 2mill bid for Reynolds, £200k compensation from the spl, an artifical pitch for next season, new hummel kits with spearmint rhinos sponsorship deals (including a half-time entertainment package) Im not asking much.

Its a real bonus that hibs and hearts are the early kick-off next saturday. We will know what we need to do. If hibs lose and we beat a demoralised Celtic then we are on easy street.
-
I didnt realise we were so close to mutleys best points haul! It really has been one of the best seasons I can remember. Ive probably made it to more games this year than ever before as well. First time I have had the season ticket since pre-administration days and I'm delighted its been this one! Ive managed to see 30 games this season so far including european fixtures and friendlies, 5 of which were on telly/internet, 19 home games, 5 away games, and the rest I have listened to on the radio. Only games I knew nothing of were against Flamurtari. Its been top belter and well worth the £150 i spent on my season ticket and the 50quid spent on away days. I really hope we can seal 4th against hibs on the last home game of the season!
-
Well each to their own. But I advocate living within your means. I certainly would rather we pulled in as many season ticket holders as possible anyway.
-
Nothing wrong with it.... until you cant pay it back. If you cant afford it - dont buy it. Its that kind of attitude that puts us in a recession... i dont mean this specifically is a cause for recession... doi.
-
Exactly why we are in a recession. Not the place I know. I would like to see a small reduction, even if its £5-£10. I think its only fair given the facilities and the state of the pitch. I don't see pay at the gate prices changing.
-
Scrap that idea, its parking up to 4hours and they have security on it.
-
Is parking at cineworld likely to be a problem? Its only a 15min walk to the ground and near a restauant i fancy.
-
Although he should never have fallen on his arse.... The lump of grass where it happened was involved in two goals today. Fraser slipped on it and Coke slipped on it aswell and lost his man who scored the goal.
-
Michael Fraser. Head and shoulders above everyone else today. His composure on the ball and command of the area were quite exceptional. On more than one occasion he showed no fear and leaped like a gezel 20yards off his line to almost punch the ball clear, clattering a minimum of only two of our players in the process. Utter brilliance. I even saw him so eager to get on the ball that at one point he touched it behind when it was already on its way out, so determined to be involved he was.
-
Pretty sure that in Leannes beeb interview she said we had only just done the budget. Dont think we budget from the start of a season. Makes sense too. Better to budget when you have a clearer view of where the team will finish
-
Fantastic to see celtic turn it around and do us a favour beating hibs! A win tomorrow and rangers to beat hearts could go a long way in the race for europe. Here's to hoping that by the end of the game tomorrow we are sitting pretty in 4th and 7points clear of Hearts in 6th... with a healthier goal difference to boot. Roll on United!
-
I didnt realise Barnsley were a championship side. I guess the could pay more. I just dont see Barnsley as a good career move. They arent particularly competitive. No chance of getting into Europe. JOB is better off here in the long-run and I'm confident he knows it. He has only really had one season of playing consistently, he needs to stay.
-
A big club like Aberdeen or Barnsley?
-
I can see Hately, job and maybe even giles waiting on the outcome of our season before they commit to anything.
