  1. As it stands I believe we are top of the spl fair play league again and as I remember, the national fair play results were first displayed around this time last year. (26th Jan by my reckoning) Any ideas about what Scotland's chances are of securing the berth? Any interest in a few more small time European games? Could it once again be something to save whats turning out to be another fairly mediocre season.
  2. Because he is probably better with only one working leg than one of the waens warming the bench
  3. Reeeeally dont care about montrose scoring against edinburgh.. seriously
  4. 4 up front now... at least CB isnt bottling it and throwing on youngsters a la Gannon
  5. Acht its just another bump in the road to a great run to the final Mon the Well
  6. Starting to get the feeling we will need to at least double jims wages if we want to keep him... or at least promise to get him a record deal.

heres a thought - anyone know what final league positions are worth financially... does the club get more than 20k more for finishing 5th rather than 6th for example - if so ide say JOB could be the difference in where we finish this season.... so my point is even if we lose him for nothing next year... will we not get more than 20k out of him anyway? So possibly no point selling as a result?

Mchugh did start against ICT but that was in the cup... the article very clearly states that the youngsters made their SPL debuts, which of course, they did. Its a shame Pollock doesnt get a mention but that will just be because he didnt make a full spl debut.
  9. Mine was Vs Dundee UTD at home in 1993 i think, we won 2-1 I would have been around 7yrs old sitting in the family stand, Malpas was playing for united and I can remember the terracing where the cooper stand is now. Also remember of that season, possibly the last game of the season was against st johnstone 9was billy dodds playing for them?) and one of our fans over in the terracing was dressed as Mr Blobby, anyone care to identify themselves? Ide love to know coz that always sticks in my mind. I feel an 'Im Spartacus' moment coming

Not to keen that he is quoted as saying he was convinced the game was going to penalties towards the end of the game. Dont think I would want a player with a mindset like that on the park tbh. Surely he should have been convinced he was going to score the winner or something like that, possibly we he hasnt scored in such a long time... wheres the positive attitude Lukas. Apart from that I actually think he will do well for us, he has managed a couple of really good shots in his time out so far... i think mostly from outside the box.... got a feeling he is more of an 18yard line goalscorer. Time will tell and he will get all the encouragement in the world from me... would be nice if he could reciprocate. Positive thinking!!
  11. I really, REALLY f#$king hate Aberdeen, not just as a team but their entire fanbase... Having lived there for 5years... THE PLACE IS AN ISLAND CAUGHT IN A TIME WARP! They are the most inward thinking, narrow minded bell-ends to have ever been shat into society imho, and its reflected in their derogitory views on our club. The usual crap about us dodging asministration when they are worse off, the fact that we sell players when they are too stupid to and sack a decent goalkeeping coach instead and not to mention the pish about our provintiality. YES WE ARE A PROVINTISAL CLUB... WE KNOW!! Sad thing is, they are a "big" club who arent any better than the so called provincial clubs!... and to top it off they make the naive jibe at our attempts at silverware..... I DONT REMEMBER ABERDEEN BEING IN ANY CUP FINALS THIS DECADE!!!...... GET IT ROON YE! BUY A PAPER, ITS A LONG TIME SINCE 1980... WHATEVER IT WAS rant over
  12. Would you really say fans criticism of Fitz has had a huge effect on him. I would argue he just tries to get on with it. Would have to say, directing abuse at him from the stands is far different to venting your frustrations on a forum. and i doubt any reynolds critics (as few as there seem to be) would care less, more likely to feel like they have robbed whoever buys him blind. MOney for a player they dont like... Great.
  13. Quite frankly I think anyone is entitled to undermine a players ability on a fan forum if they so choose. Its a forum for open discussion and if people dont appreciate his efforts they should say so. Reynolds is an exeption, he is a fairly high quality Scottish player who will no doubt do well. In interviews of late (since rangers bid) I think he has handled his answers with true professionalism and I applaud him. Its well document that he chose football over furthering his education, Im sure he was a straight A student. He is a smart guy, conducts himself on and off the field in a composed manner and I'm delighted that he is eager to earn motherwell a transfer fee, afterall that is what he is here for. He gets on with business and that personally is all I would ask for in a motherwell player, young lads with ambition, drive and intelligence.
  14. Fair enough it does show up quite clearly through the sportsound bit there... but I never used to go there. Will remember to from now. But like i said there used to be plenty links in bbc sport which is what im used to and they aint there now... and its annoying
  15. Amen to that! I still dont understand why I couldnt find it... Used to be clear links to it on the scottish premier homepage and on the individual club bits
  16. Cheers! Flamin website is a maze this season
