I might have posted some of this before.....Met Davie Cooper at the hospitality inn in irvine the night before the 91 final. He was sitting with a pint along with our physio at the time (name escapes me the now). The rest of the boys were all round a table in the main lobby just playing cards apart from uncle phil, who was on the payphone. Managed to get them all to sign my programs for the full cup run. Anyway, Davie was chatting away to me and my brother and he says to the bro ''so, you a well fan as well?'' In his usual spacker language the brother says ''naw, rangers''. Davie says ''aye, the best team wee man.'' Thing is the way he said it. He just gave me a look like you know somebodys winding you up but in the nicest way. Goes out the next day and lays on a couple of goals for us. Another legend Know what though, the only player that i never got a autograph off that day was Phil.
